Whitney Houston Hologram To Become A Reality Soon

Whitney Houston will be featured in a show as a hologram in 2016, and the man in charge says the show will be like nothing anyone has ever seen before.

Alki David, who is the head of Hologram USA, says his company has been working with the same choreographers and musicians who actually created performances with Houston for her shows to make everything as authentic as possible.

“The musical arrangement, the choreography right down to the lighting and the design will be done with the original artists and original technicians and composers who worked with Whitney in the past so as to maintain absolute authenticity. The show will not just be Whitney comes on, sings, and gets off. The narrative will document parts of her life, her achievements, and celebrate Whitney,” David told Billboard.

David says that Houston’s family has been working with the company in order to move the project along in a way they’re comfortable with, but it has still been a slow process.

“Pat has been really professional and pragmatic but also she has clearly demonstrated her sensitivity over the past two years in the way in which she’s engaged with us,” David said.

While there’s no venue set for the show as yet, the company does have plans to host a residency at the Apollo theater for a similar performance featuring Billie Holiday. Whitney Houston’s show will likely be streamed on the company’s website for fans who can’t make it to the actual venue.

David insists that the show will be done with respect to Whitney Houston and her long career, despite coming so soon after her tragic death and the death of her only daughter, Bobbi Kristina, who succumbed earlier this year after she was found facedown in a bathtub at her home.
