Victoria Siegel: ‘Queen Of Versailles’ 18-Year-Old Daughter Dead At 18

It’s always a tragedy when a young life is snuffed out too soon.

Victoria Seigel, the 18-year-old daughter of David and Jackie Siegel, was found unresponsive at her family’s Windermere, Florida mansion on Saturday.

Police reports state that deputies responded to a call to the Green Island Cove mansion at 2pm on Saturday. A housekeeper discovered the young girl unresponsive and the responding deputies immediately performed CPR on Victoria.

She was then rushed to the Health Central Hospital and pronounced dead.

Investigators are coordinating with the medical examiner to determine the cause of death. However, there have been reports that it might have been due to a drug overdose. A spokesman for the sheriff’s department mentioned that the Queen of Versailles businessman will be making a statement in the next few days and has asked for privacy for his family. Jackie has since confirmed her daughter’s tragic death and reiterated her family’s request on her Facebook page.

“It is with great sadness that we ask you to respect our privacy during this tragic time and the loss of our beloved daughter, Victoria. Thank you all for your prayers and for your support,” she wrote. The couple became known after the documentary Queen of Versailles was released in 2012. The film, which was directed by Lauren Greenfield, followed the family as they build the “largest home in America.” Aptly called Versailles, the mansion sits on 90,000 feet of property and construction is still ongoing. Once finished, it’s expected to have 11 kitchens, 30 bathrooms, a bowling alley, an indoor skating rink, several swimming pools and a 20-car garage. The businessman and his model wife are parents to 8 children and were most recently seen on ABC’s Celebrity Wife Swap. While on the show, the couple admitted that they don’t spend much time with their children as they rely on their extensive staff to take care of the kids’ needs.
