TikTok Enters Job Market with TikTok Resumes

TikTok is looking to expand beyond just social media, introducing TikTok Resumes as a way to apply for jobs.

TikTok is one of the most popular, and most controversial, social media platforms. While it has a user base and growth rate to make other platforms green with envy, the company continues to faceprivacy abuse allegations and has been on the receiving end of a campaign by the previous administration to ban the platform.

None of those challenges are stopping the company from expanding into the job market, with the unveiling of TikTok Resumes.

“We’re excited to launch ‘TikTok Resumes’ as a pilot program designed to continue expanding and enhancing TikTok as a new channel for recruitment and job discovery,” reads the company’s blog. “We’re teaming up with select companies and inviting job seekers to apply for entry-level to experienced positions with some of the world’s most sought-after employers, including Chipotle, Target, WWE, Alo Yoga, Shopify, Contra, Movers+Shakers, and many more, with a TikTok video resume. Interested candidates are encouraged to creatively and authentically showcase their skillsets and experiences, and use #TikTokResumes in their caption when publishing their video resume to TikTok.”

While many users may be reluctant to trust the platform with something as important as their job prospects, it appears the fledgling service already has an impressive array of companies onboard.

  • Nikki Bella Says Neck Surgery Ordeal Will Be Captured For “Total Divas” Cameras

Nikki Bella revealed this week that she will have to undergo surgery on her neck–which some say could potentially end her career–and says that the Total Divas cameras will follow her throughout the process.

“The cameras never stop filming, so you’ll get to see this whole process step by step. Unfortunately, they’re not allowed to go inside doctors’ offices with me, but they’ve been there on the car rides, when I walk in, when I walk out. I even filmed a meeting with one of the doctors. They’re going to be there for the surgery and they’re going to be there for my whole rehab,” Bella said.

Bella says that she owes her health to beau John Cena, who urged her to have the MRI that caught the problem: a herniated disk. Now she faces a very tricky operation with a potentially career-damning outcome.

“I have basically a broken neck, a pretty bad herniated disk. What makes mine a little bit difficult than most people is that I have some disk behind my vertebrae so with a lot of prayers we’re gonna pray that the doctors can get the piece behind my vertebrae with just a bone fusion,” Nikki told E! News.

Nikki says that after her surgery, she will be recovering with as little movement as possible, which means no traveling and no working for quite some time. In fact, she doesn’t anticipate getting in the ring again for at least six months, and probably longer. While the thought of this surgery might be terrifying to some, Nikki says she has faith in her doctors and in Cena, who will help her recover. For her, it’s just another opportunity to show the world how strong she is.

“He always taught me that health is No. 1. Without health, we’re nothing. He’s the reason I got the MRI, and I know he’s the reason I’ll be back stronger than ever. He’s been there for me every step of the way, and he’s helped me make it positive. I honestly don’t know what I would do without him, and I hate that he’s injured, but now I’ll get to have him every day to help me get back. It’s going to be awesome,” Nikki Bella told WWE.

  • Nikki Bella Loses Coveted Title to Charlotte On Sunday’s ‘Night of Champions’

Nikki Bella became the longest-reigning Divas champion in WWE history just days ago, and on Sunday night, during Night of Champions, she lost the title to Charlotte.

Charlotte’s dad, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair, was on hand to celebrate the win.

WWE broadcaster Kyle Edwards became quite emotional following Nikki Bella’s upset, and it had nothing to do with Nikki Bella at all. He was choked up over the powerful father-daughter moments between Charlotte and Ric Flair.

Charlotte came close to ending Nikki Bella’s reign prior to Sunday on Raw. On Sunday night, however, she cinched her win.

Nikki Bella won the Divas championship last year, but many of her victories came by way of her cheating. Many fans have watching and waiting for Nikki Bella to lose her title.

Do you suppose they now feel it was worth the wait?

  • Nick Hogan Jailhouse Tape Has Hulk Using N-Word Again [Audio]

Nick Hogan was in jail back in 2008. The son of pro wrestler Hulk Hogan was doing an eight-month stretch over a car crash that happened when he was drinking and driving. Nick Hogan’s best friend was left with permanent brain damage as a result of the crash.

While Nick sat in jail, he was visited regularly by his dad, Hulk Hogan. When you visit someone in jail, talking on the telephone handset through the glass, your conversations are recorded. In the wake of Hulk Hogan’s recent racist comment scandal that got him fired from the WWE, tabloids and other outlets have been digging.

Nick Hogan probably thought his debt to society was paid, and that no one would listen through his jailhouse conversations. But when your dad is famous, no stone is left unturned.

Bay News 9 turned up the conversation between Nick and Hulk Hogan.

Hulk Hogan: “You and me been sitting on some serious phone, phone dialogue here n***a.”
    Nick Bollea: “Yeah, nibb-ah.”
Hogan: “N***a, n***a, that means, that means you (are) my best friend.”
Hogan: “You know that God gave you this vibe and this, this, energy that you and I are going to live forever, bro. I just hope we don’t come back as a couple, I don’t want to say it, blizz-ack gizz-uys, you know what I’m saying?”
    Bollea: “Brutal” [They both laugh]
Bollea: “It’s down in St. Pete and it’s mixed-race and we get along with everybody, so that’s fine.”
Hogan: “Your mom went there and said it was mainly blizz, you know what I’m sizz-aying?”
    Bollea: “Mm-hm.”
Hogan: “And that some of the ladies there that, you know, run the school are nice blizz lizz-adies, you know?”
Bollea: “Mm-hm…. I would go down there, I would make friends with all those kids down there. I guarantee it. Because you know how all the blizz pizz love us.”

Hulk Hogan has apologized for his use of the N-word in pillow talk conversation from years ago. In the recording, now part of a litigious battle over a sex tape, Hogan is heard to say of his daughter Brooke, Nick’s sister:

“I’d rather if she was going to f– some n–er, I’d rather have her marry an 8-foot-tall n–er worth a hundred million dollars! Like a basketball player! I guess we’re all a little racist. F–king n—-r.”

After Hogan’s statements were made public, the WWE tossed him out on his ear.

“WWE terminated its contract with Terry Bollea (aka Hulk Hogan),” the company said in a statement Friday morning. “WWE is committed to embracing and celebrating individuals from all backgrounds as demonstrated by the diversity of our employees, performers and fans worldwide.”

    Hulk Hogan’s apology was heartfelt.

“Eight years ago I used offensive language during a conversation. It was unacceptable for me to have used that offensive language; there is no excuse for it; and I apologize for having done it.”

“This is not who I am,” the statement continues. “I believe very strongly that every person in the world is important and should not be treated differently based on race, gender, orientation, religious beliefs or otherwise. I am disappointed with myself that I used language that is offensive and inconsistent with my own beliefs.”

But in this age of digital media and recordings, old ghosts can be dragged out of closets. Nick Hogan old jailhouse tapes have been sitting there, waiting for his dad to fall from grace.

  • Linda Hogan Was Also Subject of Hulk Hogan Rant

Linda Hogan, the ex-wife of dethroned WWE wrestler Hulk Hogan, was also the subject of a rant in which he made racially explicit slurs.

“Dude, the only thing I will ever ask of you … I don’t know how you will pull this off … is, if I am ever on my death bed, you cannot let Linda come and visit me,” Hulk Hogan is heard saying of Linda Hogan in the audio transcript.

Hulk Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, is concerned in the tape about Linda Hogan getting her hands on his $4.25 million Las Vegas home.

”If I get divorced, Linda will make me sell it. F**k it. Cecile will buy it and give it back to me after the divorce,” Hogan is heard saying. The Cecile he refers to is SoBe Entertainment mogul Cecile Barker, who Hulk Hogan calls a “black billionaire dude.”

The WWE fired Hulk Hogan recently for the racial slurs that hit the media when this audio transcript went viral. He also makes homophobic slurs in the audio as he rants against Linda Hogan for becoming friendly with a “half-gay guy.”

Linda Hogan later accused Hulk Hogan of having a gay affair. He sued her for defamation, but the case was dismissed.

Hulk Hogan has thus far ranted against black people, gays, and his ex-wife Linda Hogan.

Who do you suppose is next in his arsenal of old comments?

  • Hulk Hogan Apologizes For Racist Comments That Got Him Fired From WWE

Hulk Hogan has apologized for racist comments that surfaced this week and got him fired from World Wrestling Entertainment.

“Eight years ago I used offensive language during a conversation. It was unacceptable for me to have used that offensive language; there is no excuse for it; and I apologize for having done it,” Hogan told People magazine in a statement.

“This is not who I am. I believe very strongly that every person in the world is important and should not be treated differently based on race, gender, orientation, religious beliefs or otherwise. I am disappointed with myself that I used language that is offensive and inconsistent with my own beliefs.”

Although Hulk Hogan was reportedly fired from the WWE, his lawyer maintains that Hogan resigned.

“He decided to resign from WWE because he didn’t want to put them or his family through this,” David Houston said.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Hulk Hogan will no longer wrestle for WWE after a 2012 radio interview surfaced in which the athlete uses a racially offensive language several times.

TMZ is reporting that Hogan was let go for using the N-word on his sex tape. Hogan was reportedly angry over the person his daughter was dating at the time.

The WWE released a statement on Friday announcing the firing of Hogan.

“WWE terminated its contract with Terry Bollea (aka Hulk Hogan). WWE is committed to embracing and celebrating individuals from all backgrounds as demonstrated by the diversity of our employees, performers and fans worldwide.”

Was Hulk Hogan rightfully fired from the WWE?

  • Brooke Hogan: How Does She Feel About Hulk’s Slurs About Her Boyfriend?

Brooke Hogan has come out in support of her father, WWE legend Hulk Hogan, after his contract was terminated over a string of racial slurs.

Brooke Hogan herself was as the center of the now-infamous conversation in which her dad was caught on tape saying, “I’d rather if she was going to f– some n–er, I’d rather have her marry an 8-foot-tall n–er worth a hundred million dollars!

    Hulk Hogan himself apologized.

While Brooke Hogan has come to her father’s defense, how does she personally feel about his slurs? The recording is eight years old, and Brooke has since been engaged to and broken up with Dallas Cowboys center Phil Costa (who is white). Brooke Hogan’s poem about her dad, which she posted on Facebook, may offer some clues.

“If you knew the dad I knew, you’d know his tender heart,” Brooke insists. “Cause If you knew the dad I knew, you’d know he raised me well. He taught me folks are so much more than shades could ever tell.”

“It makes me sad to see my dad defeated and so tired,” Brooke admits. “Because I know my father,
I can promise this — Just like you and I, things we don’t mean can sometimes slip.”

  • Brooke Hogan Waxes Poetic in Defense of Dad Following WWE’s Firing of Hulk Hogan

Brooke Hogan has waxed poetic in light of WWE’s firing of her dad, Hulk Hogan. The WWE fired the famous wrestler after a racist rant laced with the N-word hit the media.

The National Enquirer got their hands on an audio transcript from a conversation Hulk Hogan had with Heather Clem, the wife of his former buddy Bubba “The Love Sponge,” eight years ago–in which he went on an offensive tirade about his daughter Brooke Hogan.

“I mean, I’d rather if she was going to f–k some n—-r, I’d rather have her marry an 8-foot-tall n—-r worth a hundred million dollars! Like a basketball player…I guess we’re all a little racist. F–king n—-r.”

Hulk Hogan has since apologized for his remarks.

“Eight years ago I used offensive language during a conversation. It was unacceptable for me to have used that offensive language; there is no excuse for it; and I apologize for having done it,” he said in a statement to People magazine. “This not who I am. I believe very strongly that every person in the world is important and should not be treated differently based on race, gender, orientation, religious beliefs or otherwise.”

Following her dad’s apology, Brooke Hogan posted her poem on her Facebook page.

    ~If You Knew My Father~

    By Brooke Bollea

If you knew the dad I knew,
    you’d know his tender heart.

He’d never want to hurt his fans,
    or family from the start.

    If you knew my father,
you would know how hard he fought…

and the way it brought a smile to people light, medium and dark.

    We always fight a battle
    that people never see,

and sometimes when you’re hurting, you don’t think logically.

    Human isn’t perfect,
    and perfect is not he,

but I can tell you one thing, it’s just not what it seems.

Cause If you knew the dad I knew,
you’d know he raised me well.

He taught me folks are so much more
    than shades could ever tell.

And If you knew my father,
you would know he’s down to earth.

He may have slammed the giant,
    but remembers life’s true worth.

    If you knew my father,
if you just walked in his shoes…

then you would know that microscope that comes with yellow boots.

    If you knew my father,
you would see your own in mine.

And if he was your father, you could never find divide.
Cause me- I bet your father
    or someone that you love

    Maybe regrets something
    they wish they’d never done.

So if you know my father,
    remember he’s a man,

and you would crave relief if people judged everything you did.

The lord says to forgive them,
don’t be the one to stone…

so please remember his strong arms when you were all alone.

The lives he’s changed, the friends he’s made,
    the people he’s inspired…

It makes me sad to see my dad
    defeated and so tired.

    If you knew my father,
you would know just how he’s hurting…

For he loves every one of you, regardless of your story.

And if you met my father,
I know he’d give you love!

He’d lift you up, apologize and give you all a hug.

For those who think you know my father,
    remember who you are.

We all can make mistakes and carry ugly scars.

    Because I know my father,
    I can promise this-

Just like you and I, things we don’t mean can sometimes slip.

    We all continue learning.
This life can be so rough…

So if you know my father, please try not to be tough.

    My father has a daughter,
    and I have feelings too.

And if I knew your father, I would do the same for you.

Hulk Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, was terminated by WWE, although his attorney claims he resigned.

“WWE is committed to embracing and celebrating individuals from all backgrounds as demonstrated by the diversity of our employees, performers and fans worldwide,” they said in a statement.

Prior to Friday’s media firestorm, Hulk Hogan forewarned his fans with a cryptic tweet.

Hulk Hogan is reportedly a born-again Christian, and from the feel of Brooke Hogan’s (whose real name is Brooke Bollea) poem, she shares at least some of his religious beliefs.

It seems many people are now paying for the sins of their past. In addition to Hulk Hogan, Bill Cosby is now facing rape allegations, and Josh Duggar was the cause of his family’s reality show cancellation. TLC recently canceled 19 Kids and Counting because he sexually molested five underage girls–four of whom are his sisters–when he was a teen.

Will Brooke Hogan’s poem soften the hearts of those who now believe her dad to be a racist?

Or is she about to watch her dad swallowed up by a swirling media frenzy?

  • Amber Rose, Wiz Khalifa Spend Easter Together With Son Sebastian

Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa seem to be yet another step closer to a reconciliation. The two spent Easter together with their son Sebastian. Just last week Wiz Khalifa convinced Amber Rose to listen to the lyrics of his new song from the Furious 7 soundtrack. She was so moved by those lyrics that she contacted the rapper and said she wanted to work hand in hand with him to raise their two-year-old.

“How could we not talk about family when family’s all that we got? / Everything I went through you were standing there by my side / And now you gonna be with me for the last ride,” the lyrics from Wiz Khalifa’s song read.

“We went wrong somewhere and even if we never ever get back together (Even tho I pray, dream and hope we do) he will forever be the love of my life,” Amber Rose said recently of Wiz Khalifa.

My #ManCrushEveryday you know what it is…. We went wrong somewhere and even if we never ever get back together ( Even tho I pray, dream and hope we do) he will forever be the love of my life. The media doesn’t make it easy but fuck them we gotta live for reality and not society. We forever have a bond because we made a beautiful baby from our Love. Through all the ups and downs of our relationship my heart still beats for him every single day. I’m sick of putting on a front like I’m happy without him. I’m not. He makes me happy. He’s the only one who can. Regardless of how our lives Turn out in the long run he will always be the skinny tatted up stoner that has my heart,” she captioned a recent photo of the two.

A photo posted by Amber Rose (@amberrose) on

On Easter Sunday, Amber Rose, Wiz Khalifa, and Sebastian arrived at Tamar Braxton’s home for an Easter party. TMZ reports that Amber and Wiz were “affectionate” with one another.

Hollywood Life reports that WWE star John Cena has played a big role in Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose getting back together.

“Wiz is a real good friend of John’s. He talked to him and a few other guys on a serious level about the song and how it made him think about his family and Amber,” a source tells the publication. “He wanted her to see the performance and listen to it so they could be on a level where no hard feelings were being shared. The gesture of having her listen to the song was the only thing he has done to get them to talk more and actually start the reconciliation process. It was his conversation with John and the others that was the start of everything.”

It honestly seems that between Wiz Khalifa’s new song and John Cena’s intervention–plus a dose of family time on Easter Sunday–that things might be turning around for Amber Rose and her ex. Do you foresee an actual reconciliation taking place, or do you think they’ll simply spend more time together for Sebastian’s sake?

  • Stacy Keibler Shares First Photo Of Her Daughter

Stacy Keibler has debuted the first photograph of her three-month-old daughter Ava Grace.

The former WWE wrestler took to her blog to post the picture rather than introducing her in a magazine spread. She captioned the post of her little girl smiling at the camera by simply writing “Blessings.”

Keibler, who was previously in a relationship with actor George Clooney, then went on to write about she had adjusted to motherhood had married life to her husband Jared Pobre.

“Life can be unpredictable,” she wrote. “You feel one way, and then…boom! You need to entirely change your perspective. That is certainly what happened to me this past year. Until I started dating Jared, the idea of being married and having a family was never on my radar. I was just hoping that the right love would find me.”

“But after a serendipitous reconnection with Jared, a friend who turned out to be my soul mate, we created a family together almost instantly,” she continued. “Talk about a serious change in my reality! This year and the holiday season especially has me feeling so nostalgic about family — my family, my new family, and of course, the newest addition to our family.”

Keibler finished her post by writing: “Ava has graced us with such joy, such light and such love–we never saw it coming. She is our special little lady, and I couldn’t be more thankful for how she has opened my heart.”

  • Sarah Michelle Gellar: Prinze Jr. Exaggerating Post-Op

Actress Sarah Michelle Gellar’s husband of 12 years, Freddie Prinze Jr., has been exaggerating about the difficulty of his spinal surgery postoperative recovery, according to the former Buffy the Vampire Slayer star.

Prinze Jr., 38, underwent the procedure in November, and is presently doing physical therapy. The I Know What You Did Last Summer and She’s All That actor has been posting a slew of dramatic tweets, documenting his ordeal.

Gellar, 37, chimed in to say that Prinze Jr.’s take on his recovery has been “greatly exaggerated.”

While attending the 4th Annual Santa’s Secret Workshop at the Andaz Hotel in West Hollywood, Gellar commented on Prinze Jr.’s actual status. When asked how her husband was holding up, Gellar replied sarcastically, “You mean ‘learning how to walk’?! I can’t even. … I’m not joking. Our mail woman – god bless her heart – was like, ‘I prayed for you Freddie and it worked, you’re walking’. He’s fine. He did have very serious surgery, there’s no question, but his ‘learning how to walk again’ has been greatly exaggerated.”

Prinze Jr., who presently works as a World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. editor and director, used Twitter to comprehensively document his surgery:

Back in July, Prinze Jr. was in the news after bashing 24 costar Kiefer Sutherland. Prinze had commented, “Kiefer was the most unprofessional dude in the world. That’s not me talking trash, I’d say it to his face, I think everyone that’s worked with him has said that.”

The recovering actor added, “I just wanted to quit the business after that. So, I just sort of stopped.”

  • Stephanie McMahon Talks WWE Brand

Stephanie McMahon knows a thing or two about growing a brand and making it successful.

She has watched her father run the WWE all of her life and will someday have the privilege of doing so herself.

Stephanie is already very involved with the company and recently talked about what it takes to develop a brand and make it appeal to an audience.

“Developing your brand is different than marketing your brand. I think developing your brand, you have to know what you stand for, you know, what are your goals. What are you trying to achieve? Then you need to make sure you know your audience. Who are you trying to engage, what are you trying to get them to do and how are your watching them. What are the relevant platforms… are they on particular social platforms, are they watching TV? Know your audience, know how to communicate your messaging and know what you want them to do. Then activate. You have to activate and have a brand that’s worthwhile. You need to make sure you’re delivering quality results.” she said.

In addition to being in control behind the scenes of the WWE, Stephanie has used the brand to release a series of fitness tapes that she developed with her husband and WWE star Triple H.

The WWE Fitness Series tapes hit the shelves on December 2 and offer a variety of workout routines that are designed to get anyone in their best shape possible.

The tapes are just another demonstration of how Stephanie has taken the brand to new places. What do you think is next for WWE?

  • Vince McMahon Apologizes To CM Punk

Vince McMahon Apologizes To CM Punk

CM Punk has had a problem with Vince McMahon for a while now and for numerous reasons.

Last week he revealed that Vince McMahon and the WWE had sent him termination papers on his wedding day.

Punk has talked badly about the WWE ever since, but Vince McMahon recently apologized to Punk and told him he would be willing to let bygones be bygones and was leaving the door open for him if he ever wanted to return to the WWE.

Stone Cold Steve Austin was interviewing McMahon on a recent podcast and ask him about CM Punk, leading to McMahon apologizing.

“I would like to apologize. Sometimes in a big corporation, the legal people don’t know what talent relations are doing, and conversely. Punk got his severance papers on the day he got married and that was coincidence, so I want to personally apologize for that. Other than that, the only thing I want to say about Punk is that there have been a number of individuals in the past who have been disgruntled, said a lot of things about the organization, and I’m not gonna wash dirty laundry in public. I don’t think there’s any reason for that. I think there’s a lot of things he may say that he may regret one day, in terms of looking back at it, but nonetheless, I hope that one day, we’ll be able to get back together again,” he said.

He also admitted that he had not listened to the podcast of Punk putting down the WWE but had heard that he had a lot to say.

“I understand he used a lot of expletives and things of that nature,” said McMahon. “I don’t want to speak for Punk. He speaks for himself. I heard it was a number of things he said. It’s his point of view and there’s always two sides to every story.”

CM Punk fans have been hoping to see him back in the ring on WWE, but it seems like Punk is still too upset to consider a return at the moment.

Do you think McMahon’s apology will motivate CM Punk to return to the WWE?

  • Nikki Bella Knows What It’s Like To Be A WWE Champ

There’s a new champ in town.

Nikki Bella defeated three-time WWE Divas Champ AJ Lee at Survivor Series on Sunday. Lee still holds the record for longest reign at 295 days, but it looks like Bella is ready to challenge that mark.

The 31-year-old wrestler sat down for a revealing interview with E! Online after her surprising victory. “It felt different waking up today. It honestly feels amazing. I hate to compare this but I’m going to—you know when you have Olympic athletes who fight for something for years, and they finally get that goal—get that medal, it’s just such an amazing feeling.”

It wasn’t an easy road for Bella, but it was all worth it in the end. The 2013 Diva of the Year had to make sacrifices in order to achieve her goals, “You kind of get in this weird emotion but it feels so good and it makes all the hard work and the traveling and missing all the family events and weddings and friends’ pregnancies, worth it.”

And what was the secret to defeating the former reigning champ? “You watch someone and you see how they are and sometimes you can use that against them,” she said. “She did that kiss of death to Brie’s husband Bryan at Wrestlemania and she made history; we made new history last night—we did it even quicker. You know when someone thinks they’re good at something, you can use it against them and that’s what we did. We did the kiss of death.”

What comes next for Bella? The Diva also discussed her future goals, “I definitely want to accomplish so much more. This Divas Championship I hold so close to my heart and I love the Divas division and WWE, and we’ve seen what the power of Total Divas does for our Divas, I want to make this title so much, I want to make every Diva mean something, I want to have a long title run; I know AJ had an insanely long title run and i want to beat it.”

Want more Nikki Bella? You can catch a new episode of Total Divas, a reality show that lets viewers peer into the day-to-day lives of WWE Divas, on Sunday, January 4, 2015 at 10 pm ET.

  • Ken Shamrock Says He Deserves To Be In WWE Hall Of Fame

Ken Shamrock is a former WWE Intercontinental Champion and believes that he deserves a spot in the WWE Hall Of Fame.

In a recent interview he said that he isn’t sure if he will ever see that happen and feels like the WWE doesn’t think he played an important role in helping to build up the company.

“I don’t know if I can really speak to that. I do feel that I definitely deserve to be in their Hall of Fame based on the things that I did while I was there, being able to change that sport along with other people. I feel I earned that right based on what I was able to do there in a small amount of time. I’m not sure that I can stand here and boast about that. The fans are the ones that really tell the tale and I think they speak very loudly about where I stand in pro wrestling. I don’t think that there are too many people who would tell you that I don’t deserve to be there. Obviously, a lot of times the fans aren’t listened to, or their opinions are overlooked a lot. Today’s promoters just push them aside and don’t listen to what they want and they want fans to ‘shut up, sit down and enjoy the show’, because we are going to do whatever we want to do, like it or not, because you are going to come to the show. I hear it all the time in the WWE. I hear about how fans would like to see certain wrestlers, and obviously you can’t give them everything they want, but you at least have to listen to them and I believe they are being completely ignored. I’ve always said that I think the fans are most important that you have when it comes to the entertainment industry. They are the ones that matter most and they should be heard,” he said to NotInHallofFame.com.

He also said that the WWE is less organized and supportive of the wrestlers than they seem. He said that he thinks the company should consider adding a personnel department that will help settle disputes between wrestlers and allow them to express their feelings and vent their frustrations.

This might keep more wrestlers around longer and help everyone in the WWE work together.

Do you think Ken Shamrock deserves to be in the WWE Hall Of Fame?

  • The Undertaker To Serve In A New Role With The WWE

Vince McMahon is desperately searching for new talent. Currently, there are no real big names on the WWE roster like the legends from the past. There is no Hulk Hogan, no Stone Cold Steve Austin, no Rock. McMahon is trying to fix the situation, to make the WWE the brand that it used to be. So who better to call than The Undertaker, one of the biggest legends in the history of professional wrestling.

The Undertaker, 49, will be working in an adviser role for future WWE development. His part-time duties would include going to the Performance Center and offering advice to NXT talent pointers and “drive the WWE etiquette into developmental talents.” Basically, The Undertaker will take on the responsibility of letting future talent know what the WWE expects from them.

The Undertaker features an impressive resume for rookie talent to admire. He was a multiple WWE and World Heavyweight Champion, a six-time tag team champ, and won the Royal Rumble in 2007. He is often regarded as one of the pure legends of the WWE and a pioneer inside the ring.

The Undertaker also held one of the most impressive records in professional wrestling with 21 straight victories at WWE’s WrestleMania. The wrestling world was stunned when Brock Lesnar defeated The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXX in April of 2014.

Not only were fans amazed that The Undertaker’s streak came to an end, but many respected names inside the business were disappointed as well. Dave Batista was especially angry about Lesnar’s victory. He recently voiced his displeasure in an interview with the Huffington Post:

It sucked! Honestly, I thought it sucked. I haven’t really talked much about it but I think it was a bad decision, a horrible decision. I don’t have any say in the matter but to me, watching as a fan, it made me sick. Brock Lesnar beating him didn’t seem to work and it really wasn’t good that Brock left the day after. I just don’t see how that made sense at all. I don’t think anyone wanted to see the streak broken and it just didn’t make sense to me.

A fan favorite and a man who has earned the respect of his peers. The future talent of the WWE can certainly learn a lot from The Undertaker.

  • Stephanie McMahon Talks Wrestling Return

    Stephanie McMahon Talks Wrestling Return

Stephanie McMahon’s whole life has been about wrestling. Stephanie has spent a lot of time in the ring but she was laid off from the WWE for 11 years and recently talked about her return and what it meant to her.

While Stephanie was laid off she started a family and by the time she was ready to return to the ring she had become a mother. While many mothers might be a little hesitant to allow their children to watch them wrestle, Stephanie said that she was happy to have her daughters there.

“I brought my daughters actually to Staples Center to watch me live in the ring — to watch their mother compete in the ring. It was a very proud moment for me. I worked incredibly hard for it and I wanted them to be a part of that experience. They supported me in my training all along and it took a lot of extra time for me to really get into shape to be able to compete in the ring. It’s not as easy as it looks and it had been almost 11 years since I had actually wrestled. And yes, I did explain to my daughters, but I’ve been explaining all along because as you know, I’m married to Triple H, who in my opinion is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. And in order to watch their dad compete against the likes of Brock Lesnar or The Undertaker, I would always explain to them exactly what was happening in the ring, how we make things look like they hurt when they don’t, and the story that we’re telling. They’re involved and aware of what’s going to happen, but at the same time just like our fans who know the difference between storytelling and reality, they still allow themselves to get swept up in the story and have an awesome time. When I came back from the ring and I walked backstage, I ran into my children and my mother, who were all clapping and chanting, “You still got it.” It was something I will never forget,” she said.

Stephanie spends a little less time wrestling these days and has moved up to help run the company with her father. She is also married to wrestler Triple H and said that while many people think they know her by how she acts on television, the real Stephanie McMahon is much different than the character she plays on WWE.

Nevertheless, she said that she likes playing the bad guy on television and has fun doing so.

“I just like to have fun. Being able to play the bad guy as my character is on TV as a member of The Authority and being probably one of the ultimate villains on the show. I love to play the bad guy. It’s just so much fun. And yes, it is a dramatic contrast to who I am in real life, but I like to have a lot of fun in real life too. Maybe it’s my alter ego coming out, I’m not sure, but I certainly do like to embrace the dark side on camera,” she added.

Stephanie said that she is proud to be a part of the most powerful wrestling family in the industry and hopes to one day follow in her father’s footsteps and take full control of the WWE.

  • Randy Orton: Does He Have A Serious Injury?

Randy Orton: Does He Have A Serious Injury?

Rumors are spreading that Randy Orton was injured during Monday’s WWE Raw Event in Kansas City. The back injury allegedly occurred when Dean Ambrose jumped off the announce table onto the heels.

After the incident, a fan reported that Orton went over to a trainer and said, “The ruptured disc in my back is f*cked.” Orton appeared to have trouble getting in and out of the ring after the occurrence.

Orton’s injury has not been confirmed or denied, at this point it’s all just speculation. However, Orton has suffered from a herniated disc in the past. That injury occurred after Bad News Barrett pushed the wrestler down a flight of stairs in December of 2011 during a Falls Count Anywhere Match. At that time, Orton opted for physical rehabilitation instead of surgery. He made a return to the ring just one month later.

Orton has been in the news this week after rumors spread that he refused Vince McMahon’s request to work full-time. In fact, the allegation is that Orton was asking for more time off from the WWE because he was unhappy that he was slated to fight the loser of the Dean Ambrose versus John Cena match, instead of fighting for a championship.

The 34-year-old WWE star has also recently become a Twitter darling. His signature move, the RKO, is hilariously being inserted into RKO Vine clips of people wiping out.

Who knows whether or not the alleged injury will provide an excuse for Orton to take more time off from the ring. If he does have a ruptured disc in his back, the wrestler could require surgery, or he could once again opt for physical rehabilitation.

  • Randy Orton Refuses Vince McMahon’s Request

Vince McMahon is searching. He’s wondering where all the star power went from the WWE? There is currently no Hulk Hogan, no Rock, no Chris Jericho (although he does still makes appearances). The latest rumor is that SmackDown officials asked Randy Orton to work full time, but he refused.

It seems that Randy Orton is unhappy with McMahon and his current role with the WWE. He is allegedly asking for more time off from the ring, while McMahon wants him to give more time.

One of the reasons for Orton’s unhappiness is most likely tied to the fact that instead of fighting a championship bout, he was forced to fight the loser of the Dean Ambrose versus John Cena match.

However, McMahon knows that Orton is currently one of the biggest stars in professional wrestling. He also knows that the WWE is not the brand that it used to be. Top athletes are not lining up at the pace they were a decade ago for a chance at WWE stardom. Perhaps the threat of serious injury is keeping people away?

Additionally, concussions and head injuries are being thrust into the spotlight now more than ever. Doctors have been able to link concussions with dementia, depression, and even suicidal thoughts. Former WWE wrestler Sean O’Haire committed suicide just this past September. In fact, there are over 20 reported former professional wrestlers that have taken their own life.

Whether or not that has anything to do with the current lack of star power in the WWE is not certain, however, it could very possibly be a factor. Either way, McMahon clearly thinks that Orton has the popularity to draw in WWE fans.

The wrestler has recently become all the rage on Twitter as well. Orton is currently part of the latest hilarious internet sensation. His signature wrestling move, the RKO, is inserted into RKO Vine clips of people “eating it.”

What do you think of the Orton versus McMahon feud?

  • Chris Jericho: Latest News On His Return To The Ring

Here are the facts. Chris Jericho is currently scheduled to appear in three WWE shows in Europe this November. There’s the November 10th show in Bournemouth, England, the SmackDown taping in Liverpool, England on November 11th, and finally there is a show scheduled in Frankfurt, Germany on November 15th.

But could we see more of The Ayatollah of Rock and Rolla? He recently teased WWE fans on his podcast, “[My] latest run with the WWE is over for now, but don’t worry,” Jericho said. “I will be back sooner than you think, especially for my friends over in the UK and Germany.”

For American fans who can’t travel overseas, rumors have been circulating that Jericho could make an appearance at the WWE Survivor Series PPV on November 23rd. The annual live event is held in St. Louis, MO.

Jericho is one of the most popular names in professional wrestling. He is one of the few WWE superstars that has crossed entertainment boundaries to become successful in movies, music, podcasting, and reality television. Jericho is even a two-time New York Times best-sellling book author with another book on the way.

The 43-year-old is also one of the most accomplished wrestlers to ever step foot in the ring. He is a six-time world champ and has over 30 championships in WWE, ECW, and WCW. He also holds nine Intercontinental Championship belts and was the WWE’s fourth Grand Slam Champion.

How many matches Jericho wrestles in the future is still unknown. However, a stateside WWE comeback sounds likely.
