  • Duggar Family Makes Statement After TLC’s Cancellation Of ’19 Kids And Counting’

TLC announced that they will be canceling the hit reality series 19 Kids and Counting. The network said the show “will no longer appear on the air.”

The series was centered on the devoutly Baptist Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar who have ten sons, nine daughters and six grandchildren – two of which are still unborn.

The show has been subjected to controversy since May following the shocking revelations that Josh Duggar molested five underage girls. The event shattered the family’s squeaky-clean image and let thousands of fans and followers down.

Josh confessed to groping five girls, four of them are his sisters. One of the five underage victims wass their family babysitter at that time. He was 14 years old when he committed the said molestations.

Josh, now 27, is married to Anna Duggar since 2008. Anna is carrying their fourth child whom they announced is a baby girl.

TLC insisted the show opened up a “critical and important conversation about child protection.”

The network will be partnering with the victims’ rights and advocacies groups on a “multi-platform campaign to raise awareness and educate parents and families about the issue.”

They have confirmed that they would be working with the family one last time to produce a one-hour commercial-free documentary with sisters Jessa, 22, and Jill, 24, who have come forward as victims. They also said that they have already forgiven their brother.

“We look forward to working with TLC on this upcoming special documentary and hope that it is an encouragement to many.”

The controversial family responded with their own statement. They hoped that the “painful situation” they went through would help others find “help, hope, and healing.”

“We are so thankful for our film crew that has shown up at our house for over a decade. They have become like family to us.

“They have invested their time and energy into our lives and have been so loving and patient. We love and appreciate them so much!”

  • ’19 Kids and Counting’: Duggar Family Chides Nation for Sex Again; Hell Follows After

The Duggar family, particularly the patriarch and matriarch of the clan, are speaking out about another sexual matter. Despite the censure the pair has suffered over the handling of their son’s molestation charges, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar have seen fit to make yet another moralistic comment about what other people do in their own bedrooms.

In a Facebook post coinciding with the landmark U.S. Supreme Court ruling that legalized same-sex marriage nationwide, the Duggar heads expressed their chagrin that some people they meet might have the same rights their molester son now enjoys.

Their post read, “Praying for our nation today,” and featured a Bible quote from 2 Chronicles 7:14.

“If my people which are called in my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

The implication is that same-sex marriage is “wicked,” and that the United States will experience God’s displeasure if it does not return to a time when LGBT folks were denied the same rights as the Duggar family enjoys.

Needless to say, the reaction to the Duggars’ reaction was not mild. Many people see the SCOTUS decision as having been a long time coming, and they do not want to see a return to pre-Civil Rights-era mentality in the United States.

Commenters on that Facebook post alone were adamant in their opposition:

“Save your prayers for Josh. The nation doesn’t need them, especially from your family.”

“but its okay for a brother to molest his sisters…bravo duggars…you are disgusting…you are warped and pathetic…love how your platform shows its okay to molest but not to genuinely love…”

“Wow pure ignorance. This post is disgusting.”

“Because what your son did wasnt sinful…rightttt. You are disgusting.”

  • Jill Duggar Book About Forgiving Her Sibling: Did She Mean Molesting?

In 2014, the Duggar sisters — Jill, Jinger, Jessa, and Jana Duggar — write a book called Growing Up Duggar: It’s All About Relationships.

In the book, the sisters talk about their beliefs and how they live their lives as part of the Duggar family. They say that their life is all about relationships. They break these down into six areas: self, parents, siblings, friends, boys, God.

In the light of the recent scandal surrounding Josh Duggar, brother to the Jill Duggar and the other sisters who wrote the book, a look at what they have to say about siblings is potentially enlightening.

In the book, they talk about their family’s Buddy system, how the siblings handle conflict, and how the loss of little Jubilee (their sister) affected their relationships with each other.

Within that section, though, they talk particularly about the need to forgive their siblings.

“Even though we may not feel like forgiving someone, we must choose to forgive every person who offends us and do it before they ask — and regardless if they ever do ask. The choice to forgive doesn’t always free the other person from the consequences of his or her wrong actions, but it frees the forgiver of negative feelings towards the offender. And if we still have feelings of bitterness, the Bible says it’s not only to forgive the other person, but also to go a step further and look for ways to bless him or her.”

Some are asking: Might Jill Duggar or any of these sisters have had Josh Duggar’s instances of molestation in mind when they wrote this?

  • Jinger Duggar Desperate To Escape Her Deeply Religious Family

This might be the perfect time for Jinger Duggar to break free from her family and follow her dream of moving to a big city.

The 21-year-old Jinger is old enough to strike out on her own and has even admitted in a 2012 interview that she wanted to move away from their miniscule Arkansas town.

In the Radar Online interview, older sister Jill described Jinger’s ideal man as a “visionary spunky person” who gives her coffee while Jessa describes him as someone from outside their town, before adding that Jinger “doesn’t want to live three hours out from civilization.”

It’s a description that Jinger wholeheartedly agrees with.

And in light of the molestation that she might have suffered at the hands of her older brother Josh, it’s no wonder that the rebel of the family (if you can even describe it as that) wanted to get as far away as possible.

Unfortunately, Jinger, her sisters and other girls whose families adhere to such deeply traditional, religious beliefs are often trapped (or believe that they are trapped) in that life.

A Patheos article described ways that parents who follow beliefs like the Duggars ensure that their children, particularly their daughters, have no way of fending for themselves alone.

Consider the fact that not one of the Duggar daughters have gone to college, making it extremely difficult for them to financially support themselves.

It’s also unlikely that the Duggar girls will be given opportunities to work in various political organizations, unlike their brother Josh.

The patriarchal, secretive and closed community they live in would also more likely hush up wrongdoings and try to deal with problems on their own in a bid to avoid scandal, as so obviously shown by Jim Bob and Michelle’s cover-up of Josh’s sexual assault of young girls.

It’s also seen in the way Jessa Duggar’s father-in-law tries to justify Josh’s and his parents actions.

  • Josh Duggar Admits To Molesting Underage Girls, TLC Stalls On Fate Of ’19 Kids And Counting’

Lurid accusations, parents covering up the crime, police inaction. You’d think this was the plot from another sordid soap opera but no, these apparently happened on TLC’s 19 Kids and Counting.

The reality show, which follows the Christian family as they cope with raising 19 children, has long been hounded with rumors that the eldest Duggar son had molested several young girls, including some of his sisters.

It was a dark family secret that recently came to light when Josh admitted to the crime.

“Twelve years ago, as a young teenager, I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret. I hurt others, including my family and close friends,” the 27-year-old Josh said.

The Duggar parents, Jim Bob and Michelle, also released their own statement admitting that their son “made some very bad mistakes” and that they “were shocked” by it.

“We had tried to teach him right from wrong. That dark and difficult time caused us to seek God like never before,” they added.

But while the parents sought God, they didn’t seek professional help for their son or for their victimized daughters.

Instead, reports show that they just sent Josh to a “Christian” program where he would allegedly receive counseling and do hard physical work.

However, this apparently wasn’t true as matriarch Michelle admitted to police that her son never saw a counselor but was just sent “to a family friend who was in the home remodeling business.”

Jim Bob and Michelle’s appalling lack of concern or empathy for their daughters Jana, Jill, Jessa, Jinger and Joy-Anna was quickly picked up on by viewers and fans who have expressed their support and concern for some of Josh’s alleged victims.

The real question here is what’s to be done with Josh, his parents and the show?

TLC has already pulled the show from its roster but hasn’t formally canceled it. It’s also been speculated that Josh will just be fired from the show.

But why is the network even considering other options for a show where the parents have covered up for their son’s sexual misdeeds?

  • Duggar Critics Scream Hypocrisy Over Josh Duggar Molestation

Josh Duggar probably thought his statement was as appropriately-worded as he — or an agent — could make it. But there is no good way to admit to molesting five girls. He appeared to do some damage control, talking a lot about how he is a changed man.

“Twelve years ago, as a young teenager, I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret. I hurt others, including my family and close friends. I confessed this to my parents who took several steps to help me address the situation. We spoke with the authorities where I confessed my wrongdoing, and my parents arranged for me and those affected by my actions to receive counseling. ”

His parents came next, calling his actions “mistakes.” They even found something positive about five girls being molested: they got closer to God.

“Back 12 years ago our family went through one of the most difficult times of our lives. When Josh was a young teenager, he made some very bad mistakes, and we were shocked. We had tried to teach him right from wrong. That dark and difficult time caused us to seek God like never before.”

“Even though we would never choose to go through something so terrible, each one of our family members drew closer to God. We pray that as people watch our lives they see that we are not a perfect family.”

And Josh’s wife Anna has known about this. It must have been creepy for Josh to admit on her first visit to his home that he molested five girls, some of whom were his sisters. Again, she characterizes it as a “mistake.”

“When my family and I first visited the Duggar home, Josh shared his past teenage mistakes. I was surprised at his openness and humility and at the same time didn’t know why he was sharing it. For Josh, he wanted not just me but my parents to know who he really was – even very difficult past mistakes.”

Critics of Josh and the rest of the Duggar clan say that, while he was young, what he did should have been dealt with differently. But more than anything, they feel that the public stance of the Duggar family against LGBT folks, with Michelle Duggar even calling them “child predators” lends a karmic flavor to the current woes of the 19 Kids and Counting franchise.

Some say that it is outright hypocrisy for the Duggars to pass moral judgment on a whole group of people while knowing they had unacceptable behavior by any standard right in their own home. It was a matter of he without sin casting the first stone while living in a glass house.

  • Duggar Fans Rally Behind Show with #IStandWithTheDuggars Hashtag

Fans of 19 Kids and Counting are not likely to let their show go without a fight. There was always something a little icky about Honey Boo Boo and her redneck clan. But the Duggars have been held up as paragons of moral purity, especially by other people who like to be held up as paragons of moral purity. Because kissing you fiancé is just wrong.

So when Josh Duggar and his family issued statements confirming that he had indeed “made mistakes” — as the Duggar family calls molesting five girls — the paragon crowd leaned in.

But now TLC has pulled all the schedule rerun episodes of 19 Kids and Counting, but have so far stopped short of canceling the series entirely. There is even talk of carrying on without Josh Duggar, since the greatest interest in the show now seems to be the girls. The ones he molested.

But fans are having none of it. They have taken to comment boxes and Twitter apps to let their rage be known. The hashtag #IStandWithTheDuggars is trending.

I don’t think its right that Josh and his family are being punished now for something he did as a 14yr.old…..I thought juvenile records were sealed.

Love this show, love this family! To pull this show is beyond stupidity. Over something that happened years ago? People who watch this show are not going to stop watching because of something Josh did when he was 15. Are you at TLC so perfect? Josh, I don’t know you, but support you 1000%!

I think it would be a mistake to cancel the show. No family or no human being is without sin. Most 14or 15 year old boys are curious about sex and the female body. That does not make them a molester.

HOW DARE TLC DO THIS?! This was a private family matter that happen years ago and was dealt with privately!! Josh and the entire family have put it behind them and thrived so how can TLC have the right to do this? I WILL NO LONGER WATCH TLC UNTIL THE DUGGARS ARE PUT BACK ON THE AIR!! ****FANS WE MUST CONTACT TLC AND LET THEM KNOW WE WILL BOYCOTT TLC UNTIL 19 KIDS ARE PUT BACK ON THE AIR!!**** Praying for this wonderful family.

I want to encourage you and let you know that there are people who still love you and support you! Thank you for living life according to your Christian convictions, America needs more families like the Duggars! I hope that TLC will decide to air your show in the future.

The family should not have to deal again with something they dealt with many years ago. The Duggars set a high standard for themselves and their reality is much better than other stuff being down on TV.

Fully supporting the family and praying for them and all at TLC. Praying for peace and guidance for the best decision to be made. Please keep this blog going to keep us up to date, it’s hard to trust just anybody with this since so many dislike the Duggars.

Why are you folks at TLC so dumb? Why not use this unfortunate situation as a teaching moment. Many parents and children could learn what to do and not to do if faced with a similar situation. As far as I am concerned I enjoy watching the Duggars and hope you will continue airing their show. I can forgive Josh by praying for him and I will pray harder for the victims. Keep the Duggars.

Wouldn’t you be better off showing the strength of the family and the counseling efforts etc versus pulling the rug out from under their whole family. I know they will survive without TLC as they are a strong family unit but can TLC say they will survive with such a judgemental decision and the loss of countless viewers of their network as of this decision. Prayers to the family. I for one will not continue to watch TLC network.

Someone is playing dirty against the Duggars on something that happen 12 years ago and was dealt with at that time. The Duggars have lots of fans and I bet if the show gets canceled most of these people including myself will never watch anything on TLC again.

  • Did Quiverfull Teachings Play a Part in Josh Duggar Molestations?

The Quiverfull Movement. The term and its precepts used to be fairly obscure. They have gotten quite a lot more exposure in recent years thanks to TLC’s 19 Kids and Counting reality show.

That show — and the Duggar family that stars in it — has been held up as an example of moral purity and model behavior for all. The kids in the Duggar family are forbidden from expressing affection for people they are courting — or even engaged to — beyond “side hugs” and chaperoned social activity.

The Duggar family, and 19 Kids and Counting, has received lots of press and tabloid attention for the novelty of not kissing before marriage. In one case, the couple chose to not even kiss at their wedding, but capitalized on posting pictures of themselves kissing later.

Mama Michelle Duggar has called LGBT folks “child predators” and taken down any pictures of same-sex couples posted to their Facebook page requesting pics of couples kissing.

The family touts its religious principles in all this. But what is Quiverfull?

Vyckie Garrison started her website “No Longer Quivering” to tell the story of her “escape” from the Quiverfull movement. She describes the Quiverfull teachings this way:

Quiverfull ~ is the idea that truly godly families will “trust the Lord” with their family planning. Children are viewed as unmitigated blessings (“As arrows in the hand of the mighty man, so are the children of ones youth, happy is the man who hath his quiver full of them”) and as such, the couple is willing to have as many children as the Lord chooses to bless them with. Artificial or chemical birth control such as the Pill or IUDs are equated with abortion ~ the sin of murdering your own offspring.

Garrison does specify that Quiverfull is not a denomination, and that “those families which are involved are not required to ascribe to any particular doctrinal beliefs.”

But some are looking at the totality of the Duggar’s moral and religious beliefs — including their Quiverfull leanings, their opposition to rights for LGBT folks, and what some see as the subjugation of women — for clues about Josh Duggar’s actions.

Quiverfull is also called the Christian Patriarchy movement. According to one ex-adherent, some women who were considering marriage were once asked, “Are you ready to do the most vulnerable thing that a woman ever can do and submit yourself to a man, who you are going to have to follow in his faith, who is incredibly imperfect and is going to make mistakes? Can you do that? Can you call your husband ‘Lord’? If the answer is no, you shouldn’t get married.”

Michelle Duggar once said, as a tip to a happy marriage, that women should “Say yes to sex, even when you’re tired.” Her rationale on this was, “Anyone can fix him lunch, but only one person can meet that physical need of love that he has, and you always need to be available when he calls.”

For this to be a top tip from Michelle Duggar, some say that it reveals that her husband Jim Bob does indeed come home seeking sex from her, even if she is tired. He knows she will “submit.”

Some ask whether being raised with this kind of view of women as subject to men may have influenced Josh Duggar’s young mind to have his way with five girls. Might being raised in this environment have also influenced how his sisters reacted to his abuse? Might it still?

  • Mike Huckabee Defense of Josh Duggar Causes Fiery Backlash

Mike Huckabee may have picked the wrong horse to back.

When news broke about Josh Duggar’s molestation scandal, you could almost hear the scramble and shuffle of people retreating from openly supporting the family. The story of a conservative who has openly spoken out against the LGBT community being discovered with hanky-panky skeletons of their own has almost become commonplace.

But Mike Huckabee was undeterred. He took to his Facebook page to let the world know that he — and his wife — were standing behind their friends the Duggars.

You can see Mike Huckabee’s full statement below. Many agree with some of the points he made about forgiveness and not piling on when a person’s past indiscretions are revealed. Mike Huckabee said:

“Josh’s actions when he was an underage teen are as he described them himself, ‘inexcusable,’ but that doesn’t mean ‘unforgivable.’”

“… being a minor means that one’s judgement is not mature.”

“They are no more perfect a family than any family …”

But Mike Huckabee also railed against those who are passing the tale of the Duggars’ fall from grace along with glee. He said:

“No purpose whatsoever is served by those who are now trying to discredit Josh or his family by sensationalizing the story.”

And that is where many would beg to differ. Some believe there is a purpose to broadcasting this story loudly and widely. They believe that it should serve as a warning tale for people who build a public image and celebrity around denigrating those they disagree with, denying rights to groups they think less than them.

Some believe that the Duggars and others who agree with their moral imperative should be careful not to throw stones. Their glass houses could end up on Facebook.

Josh Duggar’s supporters keep talking about his “past mistakes.” The word “mistake” gets used a lot.

Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar said, “When Josh was a young teenager, he made some very bad mistakes, and we were shocked.”

Josh’s wife Anna said, “When my family and I first visited the Duggar home, Josh shared his past teenage mistakes.”

Most people understand the mistakes of a teenager. But they also feel that there is a certain justice in Josh Duggar’s behavior coming to light when his mother called LGBT people “child predators.”

Here is Mike Huckabee’s full statement about Josh Duggar:

Janet and I want to affirm our support for the Duggar family. Josh’s actions when he was an underage teen are as he described them himself, ‘inexcusable,’ but that doesn’t mean ‘unforgivable.’ He and his family dealt with it and were honest and open about it with the victims and the authorities. No purpose whatsoever is served by those who are now trying to discredit Josh or his family by sensationalizing the story. Good people make mistakes and do regrettable and even disgusting things. The reason that the law protects disclosure of many actions on the part of a minor is that the society has traditionally understood something that today’s blood-thirsty media does not understand—that being a minor means that one’s judgement is not mature. No one needs to defend Josh’s actions as a teenager, but the fact that he confessed his sins to those he harmed, sought help, and has gone forward to live a responsible and circumspect life as an adult is testament to his family’s authenticity and humility. Those who have enjoyed revealing this long ago sins in order to discredit the Duggar family have actually revealed their own insensitive bloodthirst, for there was no consideration of the fact that the victims wanted this to be left in the past and ultimately a judge had the information on file destroyed—not to protect Josh, but the innocent victims. Janet and I love Jim Bob and Michelle and their entire family. They are no more perfect a family than any family, but their Christian witness is not marred in our eyes because following Christ is not a declaration of our perfection, but of HIS perfection. It is precisely because we are all sinners that we need His grace and His forgiveness. We have been blessed to receive God’s love and we would do no less than to extend our love and support for our friends. In fact, it is such times as this, when real friends show up and stand up. Today, Janet and I want to show up and stand up for our friends. Let others run from them. We will run to them with our support.

Janet and I want to affirm our support for the Duggar family. Josh’s actions when he was an underage teen are as he…

  • Michelle Duggar ‘Child Predator’ Message Comes Back to Haunt 19 Kids & Counting

Michelle Duggar, matriarch to the 19 Kids and Counting brood, may have to eat her own words.

Last year, Michelle Duggar lent her considerable celebrity to a campaign to help defeat the rights of transgender persons to use public bathrooms with which they identify.

In a robocall that went out in the Fayetteville, Arkansas area, Michelle Duggar said:

“The Fayetteville City Council is voting on an ordinance this Tuesday night that would allow men – yes I said men – to use women’s and girls’ restrooms, locker rooms, showers, sleeping areas and other areas that are designated for females only. I don’t believe the citizens of Fayetteville would want males with past child predator convictions that claim they are female to have a legal right to enter private areas that are reserved for women and girls.”

A petition effort followed on the heels of this action by Michelle Duggar, calling for the cancellation of 19 Kids and Counting by TLC. The show was not cancelled.

Now Michelle Duggar is dealing with a scandal within her own 19 Kids. Josh Duggar has dmitted to molesting five girls when he himself was 14 years old.

Josh Duggar said in a statement:

“Twelve years ago, as a young teenager, I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret. I hurt others, including my family and close friends. I confessed this to my parents who took several steps to help me address the situation. We spoke with the authorities where I confessed my wrongdoing, and my parents arranged for me and those affected by my actions to receive counseling. I understood that if I continued down this wrong road that I would end up ruining my life.”

Josh Duggar’s parents, Michelle and Jim Bob, also issued a statement in support of their son.

“Even though we would never choose to go through something so terrible, each one of our family members drew closer to God. We pray that as people watch our lives they see that we are not a perfect family. We have challenges and struggles every day.”

Neither statement made any mention of the victims of Josh Duggar’s actions, some of whom were his own sisters.

You can hear the robocall that Michelle Duggar recorded here:

  • Teri Hatcher Tells How Uncle Sexually Abused Her

Teri Hatcher recently spoke to a group of bigwigs at the U.N. on a topic that was very personal for her.

It was a United Nations event commemorating the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. Teri Hatcher tried to hold it together as she related that she was sexually molested by an uncle when she was seven years old.

“I was convinced it was my fault and I blamed myself for what had happened, so I didn’t tell anyone and I was silent,” she told the group. “I did however, unsurprisingly, start to act out and my mother decided to keep me away from my uncle. I didn’t see him anymore, but no one in my family ever asked exactly what happened. We remained silent.”

But Hatcher was not the only person who carried that dark secret. Her uncle had molested other girls.

“I was helping my parents pack up my childhood home and I came across a current newspaper article about a beautiful 11-year-old girl named Sarah from my hometown,” Hatcher related. “The story recounted how she had wrapped her head in a towel in order to avoid making a mess and shot herself in the head. Her reason? In a suicide note, she implicated my uncle, who had been sexually abusing her for years.”

Hatcher stopped holding her secret, and cooperated with authorities to put her uncle away. He died in prison.

Hatcher has dedicated her life to helping other women who have suffered the kind of abuse she suffered. Like Paul Walker, she uses her celebrity and money to shine a light on the plight of those less fortunate.

“I am simply one in three women who is forced to accept violence as part of their life story,” Hatcher said. “I am one of three women who for the rest of her life battles the voice in her head that accepts blame for abuse, a voice that is antithetical to self-esteem, self-worth, and happiness. This is a statistic that has to change. One in three women can no longer have to face a stigma and a fear that prevent them from seeking help.”

  • Megan Mahoney Faces 30 Counts Of Statutory Rape

Megan Mahoney was once a basketball coach and gym teacher at a prestigious school in New York. She is now facing 30 counts of statutory rape.

Mahoney was allegedly having sex with one student at the school for a time period of several months. During this time she and the male student also performed oral sex on each other and many of their sexual encounters reportedly took place on school property.

According to reports, Mahoney approached the student after school one day and offered to coach him at basketball. Their relationship soon turned sexual and the student claims that he and Mahoney would have sex several times a week starting in October 2013.

In January 2014, Mahoney resigned from her positions as assistant basketball coach and gym teacher at Moore Catholic High School in Staten Island.

The student said that the relationship was casual and purely sexual.

“We would just drive around and [do it] in the car,” the boy, whose name was withheld said in an interview.

The school’s athletic director is also being investigated for failing to report sex abuse accusations against Mahoney and another female teacher at the school.

Mahoney faces 30 counts of statutory rape as a result of the alleged sexual abuse.

Before she became a gym teacher, Mahoney was a talented athlete and played basketball for Fordham University and Wagner College. Her interest in sports and her athletic abilities are what inspired her to become a gym teacher and coach and many of the students and teachers at the school where Mahoney was employed said she was very good at her job and well liked.

What do you think drove Mahoney to start a sexual relationship with a student and what motivated the student to finally come clean about everything?

  • Woody Allen Responds to Molestation Allegations

Woody Allen, the famed film director and one-time lover of actress Mia Farrow, published an op-ed in Friday’s edition of The New York Times responding to reignited allegations of molestation by his adopted daughter, Dylan.

In 1992, during Allen’s court battle with Farrow at the end of their 12-year-long relationship, Dylan, then 7, claimed that Allen had sexually abused her.

The claims came on the heels of the news that Allen had been having an affair with Farrow’s 19-year-old daughter, Soon-Yi Previn, who was adopted by Mia Farrow and musician Andre Previn. Allen and Soon-Yi Previn continued their relationship, eventually marrying five years later.

Allen maintains that the frenzy surrounding the claims made by Dylan stem from nothing more than the affects of a child brainwashed to hate their father by their jilted mother.

In the Times piece, Allen writes, “Not that I doubt Dylan hasn’t come to believe she’s been molested, but if from the age of 7 a vulnerable child is taught by a strong mother to hate her father because he is a monster who abused her, is it so inconceivable that after many years of this indoctrination the image of me Mia wanted to establish had taken root?”

Dylan Farrow quickly responded to Allen’s disregard for the situation and his determination that the rumors were false. (There was a police investigation in 1992, but it did not conclude in any charges being brought against the filmmaker.)

“Once again, Woody Allen is attacking me and my family in an effort to discredit and silence me — but nothing he says or writes can change the truth,” Dylan says. “For 20 years, I have never wavered in describing what he did to me. I will carry the memories of surviving these experiences for the rest of my life.”

Allen and Farrow had three children together; two adopted and a biological son, Satchel. Satchel now goes by Ronan Farrow, and is estranged from his father. He recently took to Twitter to vent and show support for his sister.

  • Mia Farrow’s Daughter Shatters the Silence

Dylan, who now goes by a different name, has opened up about the child molestation allegations brought up against her adopted father, Woody Allen. In 1992, at seven years old, Dylan told her mother, Mia Farrow, that Allen had “touched her private part” and asked her mother if “her daddy ever did that to her”. Farrow videotaped Dylan speaking about the abuse and her accusations led to a court case that eventually was dropped in order to prevent Dylan from testifying.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, Dylan discusses what she remembers and how Allen’s behavior and actions have traumatized her, to the point where she can no longer say his name. The childhood sexual abuse that she endured in the attic was her breaking point.

“There’s a lot I don’t remember, but what happened in the attic I remember…The things making me uncomfortable were making me think I was a bad kid, because I didn’t want to do what my elder told me to do. For all I knew, this was how fathers treated their daughters. This was a normal interaction, and I was not normal for feeling uncomfortable about it,” she stated.

Victims of childhood sexual abuse often feel how Dylan has felt, and suffer from immeasurable pain and intense feelings of guilt, fear, and shame. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, adult retrospective studies show that 1 in 4 women and 1 in 6 men were sexually abused before the age of eighteen, which means that there are more than 42 million adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse in the United States.

Childhood sexual abuse can also have a devastating impact on others. Farrow’s son, Fletcher Previn, even eliminated Allen from all of the family photos and videos, and briefly discussed the effects that these traumas had on the entire family.

In one of her last statements, Dylan commented, “I have never been asked to testify. If I could talk to the seven-year old Dylan, I would tell her to be brave, to testify.”

  • Wade Robson: Nervous Breakdown Preceded Molestation Claims

In the 2005, when Michael Jackson was on trial for molestation charges, Wade Robson defended the King of Pop in court, stating that Jackson never molested him or anyone he knew. Since that time, Robson has gone on to become an award-winning choreographer, working with stars such as Justin Timberlake and creating routines for the network TV show So You Think You Can Dance. He reportedly stayed friends with Jackson until the singer’s death.

This week, Robson recanted his past claims, now stating that he was, in fact, molested by Jackson. According to a TMZ report, Robson is now calling Jackson a “monster” who molested him for seven years, from age 7 to 14.

Robson’s Lawyer stated that Robson had a nervous breakdown last year due to his past. TMZ is now citing unnamed “sources close to the Robson family” as saying Robson began breaking contracts and attending therapy in March 2012.

The claims came as a shock to Robson’s family and Jackson’s fans, as Robson had always staunchly defended the pop star against the allegations. His about-face has prompted much speculation on Twitter over whether Robson was lying in the past or is lying now:

  • Child Porn Sharing Discovered on Facebook User Page

Not sure how much of it is truth and how much is just shock value, but WND is reporting that they have discovered a startling child pornography hub centered around a cluster of Facebook profile pages created for the purpose of sharing images and stories from child molesters and perverts.

According to WND a user profile page belonging to “Kidsex Young” has been responsible for bringing together degenerates who get off on child sex and abuse, and has served as a place for sharing information and photos. They speak of specific cases in great detail of which I will repeat none of hear.

The article from WND also features censored pictures of children in compromising positions which are said to have been obtained from the site. The FBI has been alerted about the posts, but it is believed many more exist.

We have heard of Facebook busting people for all kinds of things, but this has to be about the sickest and most disturbing catch of them all. As I said, I found no other sources to corroborate WND’s claims, but I have no doubt such pages could exist.

    [Update]

A representative on behalf of Facebook has reached out to us to assure users that they have no knowledge of any such pages within the networking site and that they are indeed constantly working to fight any kind of abuse or exploitation within their spaces.

Please take a moment and read through their policy on issues of abuse or exploitation on the site:

“Nothing is more important to Facebook than the safety of the people that use our site and this material has absolutely no place on Facebook. We have zero tolerance for child pornography being uploaded onto Facebook and are extremely aggressive in preventing and removing childexploitive content. We scan every photo that is uploaded to the site using PhotoDNA to ensure that this illicit material can’t be distributed and we report all instances of exploitative content to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. We’ve built complex technical systems that either block the creation of this content, including in private groups, or flag it for quick review by our team of investigations professionals.”

“We’ve worked with the National Center forMissing and Exploited Children and the New York State Attorney General’s Office in the U.S., as well as the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre in the U.K., to use known databases of child exploitive material to improve our detection and bring those responsible to justice.”

“We feel we’ve created a much safer environment on Facebook than exists off-line, where people can share this disgusting material in the privacy of their own homes without anyone watching. However, we’re constantly refining and improving our systems and processes and building upon our relationships with NCMEC and law enforcement agencies specializing in child protection to create an even safer space.”
