  • Emma Watson Has “Expensive Subscription” to OMGYES.com, Site That Teaches Female Sexual Pleasure

Emma Watson recently admitted during a talk she gave at the Emmanuel Centre in London that she has an “expensive subscription” to a website called OMGYES.com.

Emma Watson, best known for her role as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter series of films, is taking a year off from acting to study feminism. During her talk in London, she said a friend shared word of OMGYES.com with her.

“A friend told me about this website called OMGYES, which is dedicated to female sexuality,” she said. “I wish it had been around longer. Definitely check it out.”

A rep for OMGYES told the New York Daily News how the website works.

“In short, scientists had never researched actual techniques for pleasure because it’s so taboo,” the rep said. “We got 4.6 million dollars in funding and are doing that research. Instead of just making academic journal articles, we’re making the findings practical, real, and experiential in the form of documentary inter

Users–like Emma Watson–have access to “touchable simulation” that allows them to “practice what they’ve learned on a photo-real movable image.”

What’s your take on OMGYES.com? Will you be checking it out to learn more about it–or at the very least, to find out just how much this “expensive subscription” costs?

Are you surprised to hear Emma Watson talk so freely about the site that teaches female sexual pleasure?

It will be interesting to find out what else she learns during her year off from acting. So far it sounds like she’s off to a pretty good start.

  • Emma Watson Announces She’s Leaving Acting–for One Year

Emma Watson, the actress best known for her role as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter series of films, is taking a year-long break from her acting career in order to focus on feminism. She has been very vocal on the topic for a couple of years, so she wants to become better versed in it, and help others do the same.

According to a report from E! News, Watson spoke with author and activist bell hooks in an interview with Paper magazine about how she plans to spend the year she is taking away from her career.

“I’m taking a year away from acting to focus on two things, really,” Emma Watson said. “My own personal development is one…My own personal task is to read a book a week, and also to read a book a month as part of my book club.”

The book club Emma Watson referenced is called Our Shared Self. She connected with the group via Twitter.

“I’m doing a huge amount of reading and study just on my own,” Watson said. “I almost thought about going and doing a year of gender studies, then I realized that I was learning so much by being on the ground and just speaking with people and doing my reading…I actually wanted to keep on the path that I’m on. I’m reading a lot this year, and I want to do a lot of listening.”

Also as part of her year off, Emma Watson is organizing some projects with her HeforShe program. She launched this initiative as U.N. goodwill ambassador, enlisting men in the fight for gender equality. She has an arts week and a university tour planned, as well as a new website in the works.

“I’m on my journey with this and it might change, but I can tell you that what is really liberating and empowering me through being involved in feminism is that for me the biggest liberation has been that so much of the self-critiquing is gone,” she added. “Engaging with feminism, there is this kind of bubble now that goes off in my head where these really negative thoughts about myself hit where I’m able to combat them in a very rational and quick way.”

Emma Watson hopes to empower other women in this way, too.

How do you suppose Emma Watson’s fans are reacting to word she is taking a one-year leave from acting? Aside from missing her, they are likely proud of her ambitious endeavors.

  • Emma Watson and Benedict Cumberbatch Are Oxford-Bound

Emma Watson and Benedict Cumberbatch are both Oxford-bound. Are the actors continuing their education at the prestigious university?

While they likely could do so, should they wish, that’s not what this is about. Benedict Cumberbatch and Emma Watson have been appointed as visiting fellows at Lady Margaret Hall at Oxford University instead.

Time magazine reports the Harry Potter actress known for her role as Hermione Granger, and the star of The Imitation Game have duties that come with this honor.

Alan Rusbridger, the college’s principal, explains.

“At a minimum, we’d like them to drop in occasionally at college, eat with us and meet informally with a variety of the LMH community,” he says. “We’d like them to do one thing a bit more structured. It could be a conversation or debate, a performance, a lecture or seminar, a form of outreach – or something we haven’t thought of. We can imagine fascinating interactions or collaborations between them.”

“They are welcome to come and stay in college if they’d like a place temporarily to think or work,” Rusbridger adds. “And some have already suggested other ways in which they might engage with a body of 700 incredibly smart students and tutors in order to stimulate their own thinking or work in progress.”

Emma Watson has long been very vocal about the importance of a good college education. A 2014 Brown University graduate, she once interviewed Malala Yousafzai, who strongly believes in the power of education.

Benedict Cumberbatch and Emma Watson are among nine such fellows at Oxford. Part of their duties will include helping students transition into various professions.

How amazing would it be to have Emma Watson or Benedict Cumberbatch help you make strides toward a successful future?

  • Emma Watson: Why Rupert Grint Was Terrified to Kiss Her

Emma Watson is a beautiful actress. Most men would love to kiss the Harry Potter star. Not so Rupert Grint, however. Known for his role as red-headed wizard Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter series of films, Grint learned he had to kiss Emma Watson and stewed over it for quite some time.

“I never look back at that scene,” Grint said in an interview with People magazine on Friday at Universal Orlando’s “Celebration of Harry Potter” event. “I’ve known Emma since she was literally 9 years old and we had this very brother-sister relationship. And it just felt very surreal. I have a memory of her face getting closer and closer. Like, ‘Oh my God.’ I can’t really remember anything apart from that.”

Emma Watson and Rupert Grint didn’t practice their kissing scene either.

“One take was enough. It was such a huge moment and there was so much expectation. Quite a lot of pressure actually,” Grint said.

Emma Watson has spoken out in the past about her kissing scene with Rupert Grint, as well as about kissing Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter himself.

“Rupert was the weirdest. Dan [Radcliffe] wasn’t so bad,” she said. “I just had to remind myself, ‘I am an actress. I am Hermione. This is a role.’ But it was really hard. We just have so much history together. They are like my brothers.”

“Dan and I could sort of have a laugh about it. Whereas Rupert’s a bit more quiet so I didn’t really know what he was thinking which made me a bit more nervous,” she added.

If you don’t recall Emma Watson and Rupert Grint’s iconic kiss as Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley, you can check it out below.

Grint no doubt realizes there are countless men who would love to have traded places with him, for just one tender little kiss from Emma Watson.

  • Emma Watson Accused Of Exploiting Alan Rickman’s Death By Posting ‘Feminist’ Quote By The Late ‘Harry Potter’ Star

Emma Watson has been bashed on the internet for exploiting the death of Harry Potter co-star Alan Rickman and pushing her own ‘feminist agenda’ by posting a quote by the late actor to social media.

In the wake of the shocking news that Rickman had died, the 25-year-old actress took to social media to remember her former co-star with a post that featured Rickman’s image overlaid with a quote that expressed his strongly-held feminist beliefs.

“There is nothing wrong with a man being a feminist, I think it is to our mutual advantage,” said Rickman — who portrayed the misunderstood Severus Snape in the film version of the Harry Potter series — in March 2015.

Twitter trolls didn’t take to kindly to her post and began to pick on the actress who portrayed Hermione Granger.

“Wow, you’re using the death of your friend to push your agenda. That’s actually horrible,” tweeted one disgruntled fan.

One post called Watson’s tribute, “tacky, classless, tactless, disgusting behaviour”.

Of course, the trolls failed to notice that Emma Watson posted this one feminist tweet along with several others that included quotes from Rickman.

Watson, a Goodwill Ambassador for UN Women and advocate for the HeForShe campaign that promotes gender equality, is continually under the gun for her staunch support of feminist advocacy.

Many other fans came out in support of Emma Watson following the backlash.

“He was a feminist, and those were his words, she is just paying tribute, nothing wrong with it,” one wrote.

“Love the @EmWatson tribute to Alan Rickman. She respectfully paid homage to his humanitarian character and feminist ideals they shared,” another commented.

  • Emma Watson on James Franco’s Neck Was Temporary

Emma Watson fans were all in a tither a week ago when James Franco shared an Instragram post of his new tattoo–what appeared to be an image of Emma Watson’s head on his neck. To top it all off, Harry Potter fans were incensed over Franco claiming to be a huge Hermione Granger fan, but spelling the character’s name incorrectly on the post.

    “I ❤️ Hermoine. Ink by @indiangiver,” Franco’s caption reads.

A photo posted by James Franco (@jamesfrancotv) on

Fast forward a week or so, and it’s plain to see that Emma Watson’s head was on James Franco’s neck for a very short time. In other words, it was a temporary tattoo.

The Emma Watson artist–Cheyenne Randall–is known for her temporary images of celebrities, and for displaying them with obvious anomalies–like one of Audrey Hepburn with a tattoo.

“I have a tendency to stoke fires, so I started tattooing peoples faces. The social commentary is a part of the project now. I defend tattooing all day long,” Randall said in a recent interview with the Huffington Post.

It seems James Franco took notice of Randall’s photoshopped art earlier in 2015 and recently requested a “hypothetical girlfriend tattoo.” Cheyenne Randall had recently seen Emma Watson and James Franco in This is the End, so opted for an Emma Watson image.

Were you among those wondering why James Franco was sporting Emma Watson on his neck? Or how about those wondering what Emma Watson’s reaction might be?

It seems it was all for fun. And since no wizards or warlocks were harmed in the creation of Emma Watson’s face, even Hermione Granger fans can likely forgive the artist.

  • Emma Watson: Why James Franco Sports Fresh Tattoo of Her Head

Emma Watson now appears on James Franco’s neck. No, the two aren’t involved romantically. It seems the Spring Breakers star got inked with Emma Watson’s head. The detail is amazing. The likeness uncanny.

Franco even took to social media to share his love of the new tattoo–and of the character Emma Watson played in the Harry Potter series of films. Too bad he didn’t spell the name correctly.

“I ❤️ Hermoine. Ink by @indiangiver,” James Franco captioned the Instagram post of the image on his neck.

Emma Watson’s character’s name is “Hermione,” however–not “Hermione.”

A photo posted by James Franco (@jamesfrancotv) on

Known for being rather unique–to put it mildly–James Franco visited tattoo artist Cheyenne Randall, who is known for her work on photoshop masterpieces. Certainly Randall’s work is impressive–but that doesn’t explain why Emma Watson’s entire head is on Franco’s neck.

Do you find that to be just a little bit creepy?

It will certainly be interesting to learn Emma Watson’s take on this tattoo. It will be even more interesting to learn if she and James Franco have ever met.

  • Emma Watson: Is She Dating Prince Harry?

Emma Watson is best known for her role as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter series of films. Will she now be known as one who is dating royalty–Prince Harry to be exact? There is a rumor floating around that states exactly that, and it’s been confirmed by at least one publication.

Woman’s Day Australia reports that the two are enjoying “secret dates with each other and are getting to know each other quite well.”

It seems Prince Harry reportedly reached out to Emma Watson via email, following her split from rugby player Matthew Janney, back in December.

The magazine continued, saying when Emma Watson first showed up to meet Prince Harry, that she brought along a dozen of her friends, and that everyone enjoyed the prince’s company.

    “He’s smitten–and it’s more than Emma’s looks,” a source told the publication.

Prince Harry will be an uncle yet again before too long, as brother Prince William and wife Kate Middleton are expecting their second child. Do you suppose Emma Watson will get to meet more of the royal family?

Emma Watson recently starred in the film Noah, alongside actor Russell Crowe, and also made quite a name for herself in The Perks of Being A Wallflower, along with Parenthood star Mae Whitman.

It will be interesting to learn what Queen Elizabeth thinks of her grandson dating an actress–if, in fact the relationship gets that far.

Of course Emma Watson isn’t just an actress. She also went to college and earned a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Brown University–meaning she’s way more than simply a talented actress and a pretty face.

What do you make of the notion that Emma Watson and Prince Harry might actually be dating? You must admit, they make a most intriguing pair.

  • Emma Watson, Matthew Janney Call It Quits

Emma Watson and her boyfriend of about one year, Matthew Janney, have called it quits. The Harry Potter star (Watson is best known for her role in the film series as Hermione Granger) and the Oxford hunk are through.

According to a report from Us Weekly, the split was a mutual one.

Emma Watson and Matthew Janney first went public with their relationship in January. They were spotted enjoying a Caribbean vacation together.

It’s a bit uncertain as to the reason for the break up, but sources say Emma Watson has “moved on and is currently busy with work and her lining up some philanthropic pushes.”

Watson is a UN Women Goodwill Ambassador, and she helped launch the UN Women campaign HeForShe. The campaign calls for men to advocate for gender equality.

Emma Watson is currently at work filming her upcoming drama, Colonia Dignidad, in both Argentina and Germany. The film, which is based on a true story, tells the tale of a German wife (played by Watson) who is searching for her kidnapped husband. The plot takes place back in 1973 under the dictatorship Chilean dictator General Augusto Pinochet. The film also stars Daniel Bruhl and Michael Nyqvist.

Matthew Janney plays for the Oxford rugby team, and is said to have led his teammates to a recent victory just days ago.

While it’s sad to see any couple part ways, at least the split between Emma Watson and Matthew Janney is an amicable one. Perhaps the actress–who has grown from a gangly girl into a beautiful young woman–will find yet another of those proverbial fish in the sea.

Who might you suggest for a new beau for Emma Watson? Is there anyone in the Hollywood loop who would pair well with the Perks of Being A Wallflower star?

  • Emma Watson Dedicates Award to Dead Hamster

Emma Watson has always seemed like such a stable young woman. Amidst starring in several films, she managed to earn a degree at Brown University. Best known for her role as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter series of films, she graduated to different roles in films like The Perks of Being A Wallflower and Noah. Perhaps it’s all this consistency and hard work that makes what she did when receiving the British Artist of the Year Awards at the 2014 Britannia Awards just a little bit peculiar.

This all took place last week when Emma Watson stood at the podium, accepting her Britannia Award. And during that acceptance she dedicated said award to her dead hamster–Millie. She went on in her speech, explaining that during filming a Harry Potter film, she had an on-set hamster–namely Millie. And when Millie passed on into the great hamster hereafter, the crew even built a tiny coffin for her little furry friend.

“On the first Harry Potter film, my on-set hamster Millie had a heart attack and didn’t quite make it,” Watson said. “The set decorators built a small mahogany hamster-sized coffin and it had a velvet lining [and] a silver plaque on front which had Millie’s named engraved in it.

“Rest in peace, Millie. This one’s for you,” she said while accepting her award.

Emma Watson was joined at the 2014 Britannia Awards by Hailee Steinfeld and Eddie Redmayne. Watson wore Balenciaga, accessorized by a Jennifer Fisher necklace, and Jennifer Meyer earrings and rings. She carried a bag by Rauwolf.

In addition to graduating from Brown and achieving accolades in the acting world, Emma Watson also serves as a U.N. Women Goodwill Ambassador. She is clearly intelligent, talented, and well-versed in many worldwide newsworthy situations.

Somewhere along the way Watson developed a passion for hamsters. And last week she honored one of them at a very prestigious awards ceremony.

Will fans soon see Emma Watson driving a Kia Soul and dancing with the hamsters in the popular ads–or is her allegiance solely to Millie instead?

  • Emma Watson Addresses U.N. on Gender Equality

Emma Watson, the actress best known for her role as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter film franchise, is also a U.N. Woman Goodwill Ambassador. Watson addressed the U.N. on Saturday, delivering an impassioned speech on gender equality as part of the new HeForShe campaign. Watson implored the men of the world to take up this fight for gender equality.

“We want to end gender inequality,” Watson told the assembly. “And to do this, we need everyone involved… We want to try and galvanize as many men and boys as possible to be advocates for change.”

Watson went on to argue that feminism is about equality, not separation, and without everyone fighting for change, change may not be possible. She also made it perfectly clear that she is not bashing men. She simply wants them on board for the battle.

“The more I have spoken about feminism, the more I have realized that fighting for women’s rights has too often become synonymous with man-hating,” Watson said. “If there is one thing I know for certain, it is that this has to stop. For the record, feminism by definition is the belief that men and women should have equal rights and opportunities. It is the theory of the political, economic and social equality of the sexes.”

Following her speech, Emma Watson was lauded by United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.

“She’s been using her magic wand in her movie,” he said. “I hope she will use magic want to stop violence against women. Again, thank you very much for shining your spotlight on this life-saving work.”

Emma Watson is a Brown University graduate. She managed to squeeze in a college life in addition to a loaded acting career. Now she serves as a U.N. Goodwill Ambassador. As with most people in all walks of life–the busier the person, the harder they work. How impressive that Emma Watson is using her valuable time to help launch this desperately needed effort.

  • Emma Watson: From Harry Potter to the United Nations

Emma Watson has been named a U.N. goodwill ambassador for gender equality. The Harry Potter star will serve as an advocate for the U.N. Women’s HeForShe campaign that prompts both boys and men to stand up for the inequalities countless girls and women are facing all around the world. Watson isn’t the first Hollywood celebrity to be named a goodwill ambassador. Angelina Jolie served as one for the refuge agency UNHCR before she was renamed as a Special Envoy.

U.N. Women broke the exciting news on their website but it crashed shortly thereafter. Might that be due to the popularity of this young actress?

Emma Watson was honored and excited when she confirmed word of her appointment as a U.N. ambassador via social media.

Shortly after this tweet she posted another.

Of course Emma Watson’s initial and thus far biggest claim to fame is her role as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter series of films. She has also starred in The Perks of Being A Wallflower and Noah.

Watson is far more than a pretty and talented face, however. She is a Brown University graduate–no small feat for any college student, but even more admirable for one who is an actress, too–with a degree in English literature.

Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka is the Under-Secretary-General and Executive Director for U.N. Women. She had the following to say about Emma Watson coming on board as a United Nations goodwill ambassador.

“We are thrilled and honored to work with Emma, whom we believe embodies the values of UN Women,” she said. “The engagement of young people is critical for the advancement of gender equality in the 21st century, and I am convinced that Emma’s intellect and passion will enable UN Women’s messages to reach the hearts and minds of young people globally.”

This has got to be a huge honor for Emma Watson. She will no doubt do her country proud.

  • Emma Watson: Actress Now A Brown University Graduate

Emma Watson graduated this weekend from Brown University. The Harry Potter actress holds a degree in English Literature as of Sunday. Back in April Watson said some people didn’t believe she would get her degree. In fact, they told her it wasn’t even a possibility.

“People told me it wasn’t possible,” she said, about graduating from the prestigious ivy league school.

“I kept saying, ‘I don’t care.’ This is what I want. And graduating will, for me, be really symbolic of all of that,” the Noah star added at the time. “I will be there. And I will be throwing a huge party. And getting very drunk.”

Emma Watson certainly proved those naysayers wrong as she walked the stage in Providence, Rhode Island among other Brown University graduates who also received their college degrees. She probably hasn’t carried out the ‘getting drunk’ part, as it’s still fairly early in the day–but who knows? Maybe the fun started early.

Emma shared a photo of herself wearing her cap and gown with her Twitter followers.

In addition to her role as Hermione Granger in all the Harry Potter films, Emma Watson is also known for her roles in The Perks of Being A Wallflower and The Bling Ring. It seems a bit uncertain as to how or when she will use her college degree, but kudos are definitely in store for the effort she no doubt put in to attaining it. In between acting, what had to be at least a fairly active social life, and her frequent work as a model, not much time was left for studying. It’s likely that during her college years Emma Watson got little to no sleep.

Maybe the actress will take a little bit of time off now that college is over–or at least sleep in for a few days.
