  • Tyler Posey: “Teen Wolf” Star Competes Against Gigi Hadid on “Lip Sync Battle”

Tyler Posey of Teen Wolf fame competed against model Gigi Hadid on this week’s episode of Lip Sync Battle, and both shared some impressive performances.

Dressed in a plaid flannel shirt, Vans, a backwards hat, and frayed shorts for round one, Tyler Posey took fans back to the 1990s with his nostalgic selections–one of which was Harvey Danger’s “Flagpole Sitta.”

It was Tyler Posey’s performance of a-ha’s “Take On Me” that no doubt gave Gigi Hadid the bigger run for her money, however. Some think Gigi had a bit of an unfair advantage over Tyler Posey, however, once she brought out Nick Carter and AJ McLean–original Backstreet Boys–to further up her ante.

Gigi Hadid channeled her inner boy band skills, sharing her rendition of the Backstreet Boys’ hit “Larger Than Life.”

Did you see this episode of Lip Sync Battle? Do you think the Yoga Hoser stars deserved to win or are you in agreement that the prize was Gigi Hadid’s alone?

It was good to see Tyler Posey having fun on stage. The 24-year-old hasn’t had a great year. His mom passed away a little over a year ago and his high school sweetheart broke their engagement shortly thereafter.

“This has been the hardest year of my life,” he told People magazine earlier this month.

Could you strut your stuff on the stage of Lip Sync Battle the way Tyler Posey and Gigi Hadid showed off their lip synching skills?

  • Gigi Hadid And Kendall Jenner Impress On Balmain Runway, Fangirl Over Backstreet Boys Performance

The who’s who of the fashion world came out on Tuesday for the highly-anticipated collaboration between luxury brand Balmain and affordable fast-fashion label H&M.

The hottest young supermodels strutted their stuff on the runway wearing all manner of leather jackets, sequined tops, and studded pants that avid partygoers will adore.

Held at New York’s financial district, the star-studded event featured supermodel gal pals Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner, as well as Jourdan Dunn, Karlie Kloss, and Joan Smalls. Several Hollywood celebrities were also in attendance at the fashion show to see the much-talked about collection. German actress Diane Kruger was seen in a nearby bar wearing a black velvet Balmain for H&M jumpsuit.

“To me, it’s club outfits. The kind men can get on board with. Straight men,” Kruger said of the collection.

Kendall’s equally famous younger sister Kylie was also seen having fun with the models. She wore an intricately embellished long-sleeved top from the same collection, which she paired with black thigh-high boots.

However, it wasn’t just the glamorous supermodels and high-end clothes that got everyone’s attention. Nineties pop heartthrobs the Backstreet Boys gave a surprise performance during the show and got Hadid and company dancing and singing along to their hits, “Everybody,” “I Want It That Way,” and “Larger Than Life.”

It is quite interesting to see these millennial supermodels eagerly jamming to Backstreet Boy songs as they were too young to have witnessed the peak of the ‘90s boy band craze.

Hadid was merely two years old when one of BSB’s first hit, “Everybody” was released. Kendall Jenner was just a year old, and her kid sister Kylie had not even been born yet.

Suffice to say, the event turned out to be a complete success judging by the photos posted on Balmain’s Instagram page. The Balmain for H&M collection is due to hit both store and online shelves on November 5th.

  • Gary Busey Heads Home After Emotional ‘Dancing With the Stars’

After an emotion-laden episode of Dancing With the Stars, actor Gary Busey and his partner Anna Trebunskaya were eliminated from the dancing competition.

Despite his elimination, Busey said his elimination was not necessarily final.

“The fact that I’ve been eliminated is false,” Gary Busey declared following the announcement that the dancing team were headed home. “You won’t see us dancing, but we’ll be there.”

It was an entirely emotional night as the stars relived their most memorable year, and for many, their most memorable year was also one of their more difficult and heartbreaking years.

Bindi Irwin paid tribute to her father, Steve Irwin, in a beautiful dance with partner Derek Hough that left the judges holding back tears. Alek Skarlatos danced for his school, Umpqua Community College, after last week’s unimaginable shooting, and Andy Grammer danced for his late mother, according to E! Online.

Bindi’s gorgeous tribute to her father took the top score of the night and earned the first 10 from Bruno Tonioli.

Other highlights included a fun tribute by Nick Carter to his Backstreet Boys days. Social media star Hayes Grier earned a 27 out of 30 for his dance to Shawn Mendes’ Stitches.

Here’s the scores for the night:

Gary Busey and Anna Trebunskaya: 16/30
Paula Deen and Louis Van Amstel: 18/30
Alexa Vega and Mark Ballas: 21/30
Andy Grammer and Allison Holker: 23/30
Alek Skarlatos and Lindsay Arnold: 24/30
Carlos PenaVega and Witney Carson: 988=25/30
Nick Carter and Sharna Burgess: 999=27/30
Tamar Braxton and Val Chmerkovskiy: 999=27/30
Hayes Grier and Emma Slater: 999=27/30
Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough: 9910=28/30

Do you think Gary Busey should have been eliminated last night?

  • Chaka Khan Set To Rock You Chaka Khan On Dancing With The Stars With Bindi Irwin, Nick Carter

Chaka Khan! The R&B queen behind “I’m Every Woman,” “Tell Me Something Good” and “I Feel for You” is hitting the dance floor for Dancing with the Stars Season 21.

“Hi, I’m Chaka Khan and I want you to look out for me this season on ‘Dancing with the Stars,’” Chaka Khan said in a video posted to the DWTS Twitter feed.

Chaka Khan joins Bindi Irwin, daughter of deceased crocodile hunter Steve Irwin, in vying for the mirrorball trophy. But both of them have stiff competition in the person of Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys.

Also on board for this season are social media sensation Hayes Grier, and American Pharaoh jockey Victor Espinoza, as well as actress Alexa PenaVega and her husband, actor Carlos PenaVega.

The name Chaka Khan, is so iconic that even Jon Lovitz could not tarnish it in The Wedding Singer.

While Chaka Khan may be used to performing in front of a live audience, Bindi Irwin is terrified.

“This is going to be more terrifying than jumping on top of a crocodile,” Bindi Irwin said of her upcoming turn on the dance floor of the popular series. “Crocodiles, they are very special because they are modern-day dinosaurs. But I’ve kind of worked with them my whole life, whereas I’ve never danced before in my life.”

Another rumored possibility for the upcoming DWTS season is Paula Deen. Apparently, Deen had been approached about doing DWTS in the past, but had turned them down. Now there are string indications that she will come along, but nothing official has been said yet.

As for the core lineup on the show, Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews will be back as hosts, joined by Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Julianne Hough as judges.

Pro dancers verified so far include Karina Smirnoff, Val Chmerkovskiy, Derek Hough, Mark Ballas, Artem Chigvintsev, Allison Holker, Witney Carson, Sharna Burgess and Peta Murgatroyd.

  • Backstreet Boys, ‘Nsync Team Up for Zombie Movie

The Backstreet Boys and ‘Nsync are teaming up to fight zombies in the Old West. That’s the elevator pitch for a project in the works from Nick Carter. And he’s bringing along friends.

There is a little more to the tale, of course. And although some of the Backstreet and ‘Nsync members are signed on, not everyone has been brought on board … yet. So far, Nick Carter has roped in fellow Backstreeter Howie D, as well as Joey Fatone and A.J. McLean from ‘Nsync.

“We’ve been friends for a long time,” Nick said of his boy band connections. “I knew this would be a fun thing for us to do.”

“I wanted my friends in the film with me. What is more fun than riding horses and being zombies, shooting things? Even as a kid I loved horror films, this was always something I wanted to do. How cool would it be to have boy banders fighting zombies?”

Carter explains the evolution of the film project, called Dead Seven, which is set to air on SyFy.

“I started writing this screenplay, [originally called] Dead West, close to five years ago but it wasn’t till about two years ago that we really started to make it happen. It was first called Dead West but was told that could be too limiting, wanted to make it more modern and apocalyptic than an old western. They use zombies to control the post-apocalyptic town and the 7 bandits basically come in and save the day,”

With a more evolved concept, Carter and his boy band friends were off and running. But they don’t intend to go it alone.

A.J. will play a villain, Joey will play a drunk, and Howie D will be play a “Latino gunslinger.” But this film has the same money from Sharknado behind it, so that means celebrity cameos are the order of the day. Nick Carter has been busy recruiting.

“I get into these moods and just feel like asking,” Nick said. “You never know until you ask.”

The celebs he’s asked so far include Sisqo, Paul McCartney, One Direction’s Niall Horan, and Spice Girl Melanie Brown.

But what about the rest of BSB? Carter says Brian Littrell and Kevin Richardson are interested.

These guys need to do get Jimmy Fallon in on the action. That’s the surest way to get Justin Timberlake on board.

  • Aaron Carter Says He Wants Hilary Duff Back

If you let the guy or girl you considered “The One” get away, would you later (as in a decade later) post on Twitter about how you still pine for that person? That’s exactly what former pop singer Nick Carter did on Wednesday. After retweeting a picture of former girlfriend Hilary Duff, Carter talked about how he lost the love of his life and wants to get her back.

In case you never got into following celebrity tween romances, former Disney star Hilary Duff dated Aaron Carter on and off between 2001 and 2003. Carter ended the relationship by ditching Duff for Lindsay Lohan, which sparked a feud between the two actresses. Now the singer, who is just a few months past filing for bankruptcy, is ready to get Duff back.

Duff married NHL player Mike Comrie in 2010, and the two have one child together. Unfortunately for Duff and Comrie (but not for Carter, perhaps), things didn’t work out, as the two announced their separation in January. While some people would at least wait until the divorce papers were filed, Carter has apparently decided that two months is enough of a cooling off period and professed his love for Duff on Twitter this week. Check out the tweets below.

While a few of Carter’s fans thought it was incredibly brave for him to put himself out there, he received quite a bit of criticism from other Twitter users, which prompted him to make a couple of follow up tweets.

Hilary Duff has been on Twitter since Carter made the cringeworthy posts, but hasn’t responded. Whether Duff doesn’t want to handle such matters on a public platform, isn’t ready for a new relationship, or simply doesn’t want to be with the guy that dumped her for Lindsay Lohan remains to be seen.

Now that you know all about the status of Aaron Carter’s love life, here’s a flashback to one of the songs that made him popular as a young teen (aside from being the little brother of Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter):

  • Sea Lion Bobs Her Head to Backstreet Boys [VIDEO]

Ronan the sea lion knows how to keep a beat. Just turn on some disco or some late 90s Backstreet Boys, and she’ll nod her head and keep time. Incredible.

Here’s what the University of California Santa Cruz’s Pinniped Lab had to say about Ronan:

One of our resident sea lions, Ronan, is the first non-human mammal shown able to find and keep the beat with musical stimuli. This challenges earlier evidence from humans and parrots suggesting that complex vocal mimicry is a necessary precondition for flexible rhythmic entrainment.

All I know is that she’s a much better dancer than I am.

  • Backstreet Boys Finally Get Around to Making a Harlem Shake Video and Your Tween Heart Will Melt

You thought the Harlem Shake was a dead meme, didn’t you? Well, nothing is really complete until the Backstreet Boys have a crack at it, right?

No? That’s not a thing? Either way, I’ll be willing to bet that there’s still a fairly large contingent of you out there whose heart still flutters with the mere mention of BSB. You know who you are. And this is for you:
