Scott Walker Fires Aide For Racial Remarks

How do you think your children would feel if they woke up Christmas morning to find no gifts under their Christmas tree? An aide for Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker recently told parents that instead of buying toys for their children for Christmas, they should invest money into Walker’s political campaign.

The aide sent out an email that stated,

“This year, we are celebrating the Holiday Season with a Black Friday special that is better than any deal found in stores. Instead of electronics or toys that will undoubtedly be outdated, broken, or lost by the next Holiday Season, help give your children the gift of a Wisconsin that we can all be proud of.”

Whether or not Walker really meant for parents to spend their Christmas money on his campaign instead of their children is debatable, and the idea may have been the aides instead of Walker’s himself.

This same aide, Taylor Palmisano was recently fired from the campaign after she was caught making demeaning comments about Hispanics on social media. Walker also recently removed Steven Krieser as his assistant deputy secretary at the state Department of Transportation after he created a post on Facebook that compared illegal immigrants to Satan.

Walker recently emerged as a potential presidential contender in the next election, but if he can’t get his campaign in order, he may want to reconsider.

Palmisano issued a statement apologizing and saying she regrets “these offensive and irresponsible remarks.”
