Royal Rumble 2014 – The Results Are In

This year’s Royal Rumble is over and the results are in. If you didn’t get a chance to catch the 2014 Royal Rumble or just need a recap, you are in luck. Here are the results you have been waiting for.

The first match of the night was the WWE Tag Team Title Match between The New Age Outlaws and brothers Cody Rhodes and Goldust. Billy Gunn was able to pull off a win by using the Fameasser on Cody. The New Age Outlaws took the titles.

The next match was between Daniel Bryan and Bray Wyatt. The two put on a great show but in the end, Bray Wyatt was able to take down Bryan for the win.

The next two men to enter the ring happen to be two of the biggest in the sport, the Big Show and Brock Lesnar. Lesnar hit the Big Show with several chairs before finishing him off with a big F5.

Next was the WWE World Heavyweight Title Match between John Cena and Randy Orton. The much anticipated match started off with a lock out and after interference from The Wyatt Family, Orton hit Cena with a big RKO for the win. Orton keeps the title.

Finally it was time for the Royal Rumble. The 30 men began to enter the ring in 90 second intervals starting with CM Punk and Seth Rollins. Damien Sandow and Cody Rhodes were the next two men out and the four men went at it. Punk eliminated Sandow before Kane entered the ring. Punk eliminated Kane and Alexander Rusev entered the ring followed by Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter and Kofi Kingston.

The men battled it out and for a moment teamed up on Rusev. Jimmy Uso entered the ring and Goldust came next. Rusev was eliminated and the match continued. As the remaining wrestlers entered the ring and battled it out, chaos began to ensue and it was hard to tell who was eliminating who. As the ring cleared out, Reigns and Batista were the last two men standing.

Reigns was able to spear Batista, but Batista got back on his feet and tossed Reigns over the ropes with ease. Batista became the 2014 Royal Rumble winner and in spite of the booing crowd, managed to strike a few poses with his belt before the Royal Rumble went off the air.

What did you think of the 2014 Royal Rumble and do you think Batista deserved to win?
