Robin Thicke and Paula Patton are still treading on thin ice.
Although several media outlets have reported that the future of their marriage looks relatively grim, the “Lost Without You” singer refuses to be deterred.
One thing is for sure – he’s adamant about getting his wife back.
So, last night at the BET Awards, he made an effort to apologize to her yet again.
The Blurred Lines singer-songwriter took the stage at the Nokia Theatre before thousands of fans during the nationally televised awards program.
He used the big performance as an opportunity to pour his heart out to the Baggage Claim actress. The introduction to his song was yet another heartfelt apology.
Of course, the 37-year-old singer’s song of choice had symbolic meaning. Thicke debuted his new ballet, “Forever Love,” which is the second single to be released off his seventh studio album, Paula.
“I’d like to dedicate this song to my wife and say, ‘I miss you and I’m sorry.’ This is called Forever Love,” the singer said. The lyrics to the heartfelt ballet were definitely befitting.

“If you ever doubt it now, baby, I will be there picking you up,” he sang. “You can lean on me any time, baby, for anything you want and need. Yeah, see, I don’t need any reason, memory, or a season. Every day I will believe that you and I are meant to be. You’re my forever love.”
Back in February, Paula Patton and Robin Thicke officially announced their separation after almost nine years of marriage. However, the two dated since they were teenagers. They also have one son together, Julian Fuego Thicke.

News of the separation came after months of speculation of Thicke’s rumored infidelity. He was said to have cheated on the 38-year-old actress numerous times.
