Prince George Magazine Cover Airbrushed?

There is nothing cuter than a happy, chubby baby, especially if that baby happens to be a prince. Prince George is no doubt cute, but a recent magazine cover photo of the baby boy appears to have been airbrushed.

According to the New York Post’s editor Emily Smith, a photo of the prince at a zoo in Sydney, Australia was edited and airbrushed before it was used on the cover of Us Weekly.

“They enhanced gorgeous George with emerald green eyes, rosier cheeks and stronger strawberry-blond-tinged hair and brows,” she said. “The already adorable prince appears in multiple photos inside with darker brown eyes and paler cheeks.”

While the magazine’s version of the photo does look slightly different from the original photo, the magazine says that it did not airbrush the photo or change it to enhance or change George’s adorable features.

“The original image used for the Prince George cover was dark and bluish in tone and needed to be given an overall color shift for printing purposes,” a rep for the magazine said in a statement. “By no means did we go in and alter the color of his eyes or cheeks in this process.”

Prince George is clearly a beautiful baby and does not need to be airbrushed to look adorable in person or on the cover of a magazine. Aside from his magazine cover photo, there are plenty of other adorable photos of Prince George during his trip the to zoo and the family’s visit to Australia.

Do you think Prince George’s magazine photo was airbrushed and what do you think of the family’s Australia trip?
