Congratulations are in order for American Idol alum Pia Toscano!
Toscano has confirmed that she is in fact engaged to Jimmy R.O. Smith.
Fans spotted what appeared to be an engagement ring on Toscano’s finger a couple of weeks ago in an Instagram post.
But Toscano just confirmed the news in a tweet.

According to Toscano, she met Smith through Jennifer Lopez.
Here’s what she had to say about it to ET:
“I met my fiancee through Jennifer. We met on the promo tour almost two years ago. We actually lived across the street from each other and didn’t even know. It was all meant to be.”
Toscano placed ninth on season 10 of American Idol. Her elimination was a shock to judges and fans alike.
