Olivia Newton-John made the announcement on Tuesday that she will be heading to Sin City this spring to headline Summer Nights, a new show that she will be starring in at the Flamingo Hotel and Casino.
“I am thrilled to be able to call Las Vegas home for a while,” said the former Grease star. “I have performed here many times through the years and have had nothing but wonderful memories and I look forward to even more fun at the Flamingo. I am especially thrilled that a portion of every ticket sold will benefit the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre.”
Summer Nights will open on April 8 at the Flamingo’s Donny & Marie Showroom, and will entail 45 performances that are scheduled to run through the summer.
Newton-John assured fans that she will be performing her old and new hits, alike, with everything from Grease classics to Xanadu and her own pop hits.
A few of the songs promised to appear in Summer Nights are the Grease favorites “Hopelessly Devoted to You” and “You’re the One That I Want.”
