Newspaper Writer Tweets Porn Video to His Followers: Twitter Reacts

Let this one serve as an important lesson to you, folks: If you’re going to attempt to get some work done in-between spending some quality time with your pornography habit, perhaps you should pay close attention to what you’re sharing with your loyal followers on Twitter. Unless, of course, your fan base primarily consists of perverts and fellow porn appreciators. Then, by all means, let the naughtiness run rampant.

Vito Stellino, a sportswriter for the Florida Times-Union, was attempting to tweet an article penned by Jim Steeg to all of the boys and girls on his Twitter page. Unfortunately for Stellino, the post contained a shortened link to an xHamster video instead of a piece about the rebirth of the USFL. To make matters worse, nobody caught the mistake for nearly 40 minutes, which means quite a few individuals got an impromptu education in what really goes on backstage at concerts.

Not surprisingly, the tweet in question has already been deleted. Now, it’s unclear if the guy was at home on a personal computer or mucking around on questionable sites when he should have been getting some work done. Stellino has yet to respond to the snafu, which, of course, was probably someone else’s fault. It always is in these cases.

As you can imagine, Twitter reactions to the story have been pretty snazzy. A small grouping of these responses have been assembled below.
