New Dark Knight Rises Trailer At MTV Movie Awards

Every so often, MTV proves its still worth something to society, and at last night’s Movie Awards celebration, the channel that made its name playing actual music videos showed a little bit of its worth last night by debuting a new trailer for the upcoming finale to Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises.

The fact that this is the best trailer to come out of the TDKR marketing push only helps MTV’s cause:

As you might expect, Twitter didn’t miss the new trailer, either, and the reaction looks to be very positive:

The last Nolan/Batman movie hits the theaters on July 20, which, after watching the latest trailer, all of a sudden seems a long way off. Does the MTV trailer increase your hype meter for last installment of Nolan’s journey through Gotham? Does any still think Batman will die at the end?
