Neal Mohan of Google Joins MMA’s Global Board of Directors

For those of you who don’t know what the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) is, they are a non-profit group established for overseeing the growth of mobile marketing and the technology which spawns from the movement. Neal Mohan, who is in charge of mobile display ads at Google has just announced his addition to the organization’s global board of directors.

MMA’s CEO Greg Stuart comments on their new member:

“The MMA Board of Directors plays a pivotal role in setting the agenda for the mobile marketing industry, as well as helping shape the future of the MMA. I am thrilled to welcome Neal, a key industry leader and innovator, as the latest member of the Global Board,”

“I look forward to working with him and the full board to fulfill our mission of making mobile an indispensable part of the marketing mix.”

Mohan was listed as one the most influential characters in mobile displays, this is no doubt part of the recognition that comes with being part of an organization who is an industry leader for mobile display ads. Mohan is often listed as a speaker at prominent events in the industry.

Before joining Google Mohan held many high ranking positions at technology firms like DoubleClick and NetGravity. He has also done work with Microsoft and Accenture. There’s no doubt he will be an excellent addition to the board of directors at the Mobile Marketing Association.
