Singer and actress Natina Reed, who was a member of the R&B group Blaque and appeared in the popular cheerleading film “Bring It On”, was struck by a car and killed on an Atlanta highway over the weekend, just two days shy of her 33rd birthday.
Reed is reported to have been walking in traffic when she was hit, and witnesses say they aren’t sure why. The driver of the vehicle has not been charged with anything, as it is suspected the accident couldn’t have been avoided. A passenger in the car gave CPR to Reed, but she was pronounced dead at Gwinnett Medical Center.
Reed leaves behind a 10-year old son and a legacy in music which will not be forgotten.
