Miley Cyrus Hospitalized After Allergic Reaction

Miley Cyrus had to cancel a show at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri after she was hospitalized due to an allergic reaction to antibiotics that she was taking.

Cyrus has had to cancel several shows that were scheduled as part of her Bangerz tour. Earlier this month she canceled a show in Charlotte, North Carolina after she got sick with the flu.

The venue released a statement to fans and ticket holders saying,

“Miley Cyrus’ ‘Bangerz’ tour date scheduled for tonight, April 15, at Sprint Center in Kansas City has been canceled. Cyrus has been hospitalized for a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics and has been placed on medical rest by her doctors. She will not be able to perform as scheduled. Refunds for tickets will be available at the point of ticket purchase. Tickets purchased online or by phone will be automatically refunded.”

Miley had tweeted about not feeling well the day before the concert was canceled and her publicist Meghan Prophet confirmed that she was hospitalized.

It appears that Cyrus is still suffering from the flu that caused her to cancel her April 7th concert and was taking antibiotics to help ease her symptoms and help her get better faster. Her allergic reaction caused her to miss the April 15th concert anyways, but she was able to tweet an apology to the ticketholders.

She also posted a photo of herself lying in a hospital bed, wearing a gown and playing with a toy octopus.

Miley has not said whether she will reschedule the tour dates or not and is still in the hospital. She has not said how long she will have to be in the hospital or if she will have to cancel any more of her scheduled tour dates due to her illness or allergic reaction.
