Miley Cyrus got real with Rolling Stone for their October issue, talking about the twerking incident that landed her in a lot of hot water but didn’t do much to damage Robin Thicke’s reputation. She also stripped down for the cover.
Cyrus–whose image has gotten a very raunchy makeover in recent months–appears nude and in a pool, beaded with water and looking out at us from mascara-ringed eyes, her tongue hanging out in typical Miley fashion. Gone are the days when she was a Disney Channel princess; now, she’s the girl with a Reputation.
“No one is talking about the man behind the ass. It was a lot of ‘Miley twerks on Robin Thicke,’ but never, ‘Robin Thicke grinds up on Miley.’ They’re only talking about the one that bent over,” she says in the interview. “So obviously there’s a double standard.”
The 20-year old–who recently split from longtime beau Liam Hemsworth–has been on a bit of a wild streak lately to say the least, performing at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Vegas in a racy outfit that malfunctioned, showing her nipple; she also sang “Wrecking Ball” with tears streaming down her face. She does admit in the interview that the whole “twerking” thing has gotten way out of hand, however.
“People are like, ‘Miley thinks she’s a black girl, but she’s got the flattest ass ever,’” she says. “I’m like, ‘I’m 108 pounds! I know!’ Now people expect me to come out and twerk with my tongue out all the time. I’ll probably never do that s–t again.”
