As you’ve probably seen by now, Google has a Google doodle up today, the latest in its series of Olympics-related doodle art. This one is for hurdles.
The doodle is a fun, quick, playable game, which lets you run and jump, and try to get to the end of the track as quickly as possible. It does bring the QWOP game to mind, but it’s not nearly as difficult.
You might get even more fun out of the doodle if you have game controller, as the doodle is playable with one, as Google explained in a Google+ update:

Today's sporty Google Doodle is actually an interactive, HTML5 game that uses the new Gamepad API to detect whether you have a gamepad controller attached to your computer (don't worry if not, you can still use your keyboard). Check it out and post your high scores in the comments:
Our series of sporting doodles takes a leap into action today with an interactive hurdle race. Using your keyboard, mouse or even—if you’re using +Google Chrome or special builds of Firefox—a USB gamepad, you can navigate our runner along the track and help him jump the hurdles. To my knowledge, this is the first time Google has posted a doodle that you could play with a video game controller, which should be enough to get it some amount of special attention. Unfortunately, this particular doodle is getting some additional attention for another reason entirely.
