Leonardo DiCaprio’s Stepbrother On The Run After Missing Court Appearance For Theft

Leonardo DiCaprio’s stepbrother is considered on the run after he failed to show up for a court appearance.

According to International Business Times, police have launched a manhunt for 44-year-old Adam Farrar.

A former actor from Hollywood, Califirnia, DeCaprio’s stepbrother has had a history with drug addiction and was arrested in January with his partner Charity Moore for allegedly trying to steal good worth $990.

Police officers issued a warrant for his arrest and their bail has been set at $3,000 for when they are caught.

A family source said that Farrar, whose mother Peggy married Leo’s father when he was one, would soon find himself back in jail if he continues to run away from responsibilities.

“He’s struggled before with drugs and although he makes promises to get clean, he gets caught up in something else,” a source told the The Sun. “Leo is sympathetic but this is the latest in a long line of offenses and he’s at the end of his tether. He got fed up with Adam asking to borrow money and not paying it back. No one knows where Adam and Charity have gone.”

After appearing in commercials, Farrar began starring in a string of movie and TV shows in the 1980s. He is best known for his roles in the 1980s science fiction series Battlestar Galactica and the ABC comedy-drama Eight is Enough.

Leonardo DiCaprio took home the best actor award last week for his leading role in survival drama, The Revenant. The Sun also reports that Farrar helped inspire DiCaprio to venture into acting himself.
