Leighton Meester Covers Fleetwood Mac Beautifully

Leighton Meester has built up quite a fan base from her time on “Gossip Girl”, but some may not know that she’s also a very talented musician. The actress teamed up with Dana Williams recently for a lovely cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams” which will have you singing it all day.

The song features percussion by Maxwell Drummey and beautiful harmonies between the two ladies, who both play guitar. Dana’s EP The Lonely One is now available.

Meester made headlines earlier this year when it was announced that she had married longtime beau Adam Brody in a private ceremony; the actress had said as recently as 2012 that she wasn’t sure she wanted to get married, so the news came as a surprise to fans of both actors.

The actress said she didn’t have her first boyfriend until she was 18 and was never concerned about such things because she had bigger worries; namely, a mom who was in jail.

“I couldn’t relate to kid stuff — ‘Jimmy doesn’t like me!’ Who cares? I was worried we didn’t have gas money or food,” Meester said. “Those were my concerns….I never had a boyfriend until I was 18. It’s nice, I guess – when you like them. But it isn’t the most important thing. I’m not sure I ever want to get married. The only time a relationship is good is when you really love them. I don’t want to hang out with some guy I just like.”
