Kourtney Kardashian Believes Stepdad Bruce Jenner’s Transition Will Change Lives

Kourtney Kardashian has spoken out with great pride about her stepfather Bruce Jenner since his tell-all interview with Diane Sawyer aired on 20/20 on Friday night. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star believes that Bruce Jenner’s transition will change lives.

If you didn’t see Bruce Jenner’s chat with Diane Sawyer, it was at times poignant, and at times humorous. At times it made you want to cry. It was beyond clear that Bruce Jenner had last minute qualms over sharing the story of his transition with the public, but felt it was a big part of the progress he so desperately needs to make. Kourtney Kardashian has no doubt been somewhat impacted by Bruce’s impending change, so to come out of it feeling pride for her stepfather–instead of embarrassment or fear–is a big step for any young woman to admit.

It was via Twitter on the day after Bruce Jenner’s interview with Diane Sawyer that Kourtney Kardashian shared her support of Bruce, and her belief that by sharing his story he will ultimately help change lives.

Earlier on Saturday, Kourtney Kardashian’s youngest sister, Kylie Jenner, shared her support of Bruce Jenner–her biological dad–via Twitter as well.

Kendall Jenner chose a most creative way to honor her father following his interview on national TV. She did so in the form of an Instagram post. She posted a school paper she completed back in the 5th grade.

Kendall captioned her post, “I wrote this in 5th grade…nothing has changed.”

Kudos to Kourtney Kardashian as well as to Kylie and Kendall Jenner for so publicly supporting Bruce Jenner on going pubic about his transition from a man to a woman. And how wonderful will it be if Kourtney Kardashian’s statement comes true? If Bruce Jenner’s interview and honesty changes even one or two lives, then any anxiousness he felt over going public will have been well worth it. To save just one person from the lifetime of discomfort he has experienced will ensure his efforts haven’t been in vain.
