Khloe Kardashian to Stay by Lamar Odom’s Side, Lamar Transferred to L.A. for Continuing Medical Care

Khloe Kardashian has said she plans to stay by Lamar Odom’s side and help nurse him back to health. That task will be much more convenient for the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, as Lamar has been transferred to a hospital in L.A., much close to Khloe Kardashian’s home.

CNN reports that Lamar Odom was transferred by helicopter on Monday evening to an L.A. hospital. He has reportedly made some progress, but the situation is far from good.

The L.A. Times reports that Lamar Odom is on kidney dialysis. He is breathing on his own, but is unable to walk. Doctors fear he may have cognitive issues.

Khloe Kardashian is there for the long haul, however, putting her relationship with James Harden on hold.

“Khloe is committed to staying with [Lamar],” a source tells Us Weekly. “It’s a slow process, but Khloe is there every step of the way. It’s all been so draining and emotional.”

It was reportedly Khloe Kardashian, along with mom Kris Jenner, who made the arrangements to have Lamar Odom transferred to L.A. Both believed he would receive better medical care there than in Las Vegas.

Rob Kardashian–who doesn’t venture out much–was spotted driving Khloe Kardashian’s SUV on Tuesday. It’s possible he was headed to the hospital to check in on Lamar.

Lamar Odom is a very fortunate man to have Khloe Kardashian and her family in his court. They are the only real family the former Lakers player has, and he loves them all dearly.

Some wonder if this recovery period for Lamar will draw Khloe Kardashian and him back into a romantic relationship. He never wanted to divorce Khloe, but she lost hope because of his drug problems.

Right now Khloe Kardashian is very grateful that Lamar pulled through, woke up from his coma, and is preparing to work hard in physical therapy to regain his strength and abilities.
