Khloe Kardashian On Why Going To The Gym “Saved” Her

Khloe Kardashian has been pretty vocal on social media lately, and while she doesn’t often go into detail about her relationship (or lack thereof) with estranged husband Lamar Odom, she alluded to the rough year she’s had recently and said she’s ready for 2016 to be much better.

The reality star sat down for a livestream solo interview on her app recently and said that one of the ways she deals with stress is to hit the gym. For Khloe, being able to go in and work out when she’s the most stressed has been a lifesaver.

“It has helped calm me down. When I’m fidgety and I just feel like everything is closing in, I go to the gym. You’re building endorphins and feeling good about yourself. It’s saved me.”

So far this year, Kardashian has dealt with a staph infection, internet commenters spreading rumors, the near-death of Lamar Odom, and the relentless spotlight that the media has aimed at Caitlyn Jenner. Khloe says she’s just ready to look toward a better year.

“Lord knows I’ve had stress and anxiety lately. This year has been absolutely horrible, but it’s almost done, and 2016 is right around the corner. I’m just praying that it’s gonna be better. It just has to be,” she said.

Of course, one of the few good things to come out of 2015 was her new nephew, Saint West, who is getting quite a bit of love and attention from his aunts. The newest child of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West is “cute and perfect”, according to Khloe. She also spent some quality laser-tag time with niece North recently, sharing a photo of the two of them rocking day-glo glasses together.

Khloe certainly has a busy schedule in the new year; aside from her family’s various reality shows, she’ll be starring on her own talk show on FYI called Kocktails With Khloe.
