Katie Holmes got tatted up while attending Old Navy and Joe Zee’s soirée on Thursday. The party was in honor of New York Fashion Week, which started on Wednesday and runs for eight days.
If Holmes doesn’t look like the tattoo type to you, you’re probably correct. The 35-year-old doesn’t have any permanent ink. The tattoo she received on Thursday was a gold Flash Tattoo.
Flash tattoos have become a trendy accessory. They typically last only 4-6 days. Holmes put a Flash Tattoo on the nape of her neck and posed for some pictures. And you know what they say about tattoos, “once you get one, you’ll want to keep getting more.” That proved to be the case for Holmes, she added another Flash Tattoo to her left forearm.
No word on whether Holmes has secretly wanted to get inked for real in the past, however, her 8-year-old daughter Suri wouldn’t approve. Holmes said, I don’t have any tattoos. My child would kill me.”
Miley Cyrus, Alessandro Ambrosio, Beyoncé, Vanessa Hudgens, and Jennifer Lopez also got temporary tats at the party.
New York Fashion Week is an annual event that allows designers to showcase their Spring-Summer 2015 styles. This year it will feature over 100 shows that will take place at Lincoln center, The Standard Hotel, and several other Manhattan hot spots. You can click here for a full schedule.
