Josh Duggar Cheating Scandal Discussed on New TLC Show About Duggar Family, “Jill & Jessa: Counting On”

Josh Duggar cost the 19 Kids and Counting family their reality show. Following the show’s cancellation, he was outed during the Ashley Madison website hack, and admitted shortly thereafter to cheating on wife Anna Duggar and having an addiction to pornography.

On Sunday night at 8 p.m. on TLC, Anna Duggar, Jill Duggar Dillard, and Jessa Duggar Seewald will talk about Josh Duggar and the pain he has caused their entire family. TLC is airing a three-part special called Jill & Jessa: Counting On. Many hope the ratings might warrant more episodes of the show–maybe even a spinoff of 19 Kids and Counting.

“It was heartbreaking to hear, what had happened,” Anna Duggar says in a promo for tonight’s show.

“I cried a lot of tears,” Jill Duggar Dillard admits. “My first thoughts were for Anna.”

“Someone who you love, how could this happen?” Jessa Duggar Seewald asks.

“We’re getting through,” Jessa says, with Jill adding, “We will come out of this fire.”

Tonight’s episode of Jill & Jessa: Counting On will mark the first time Anna Duggar has spoken out about the Josh Duggar scandal.

In September, cousin Amy Duggar King commented on Anna Duggar, saying at the time she was “strong.”

“There is a reason God gives you family. It’s for moments like this,” Amy said. “We encourage her as much as we can.”

Sources close to the Duggar family claim Josh Duggar isn’t truly remorseful over his infidelity.

“He is not the person everyone thought they knew,” the source said. “Anna didn’t check up on Josh because she trusted him. When she found out about the cheating, she just cried.”

Will you tune in to Jill & Jessa: Counting On tonight to hear what members of the Duggar family have to say about Josh Duggar?

It’s highly unlikely Josh Duggar will ever appear on the TLC show, as advertisers pulled away from 19 Kids and Counting because of his actions.
