John Fogerty is reportedly suing two of his former Creedence Clearwater Revival bandmates for failure to pay him what he says is rightfully his.
According to an Associated Press report, Fogerty claims his bandmates “haven’t paid him in years for performing the band’s hits with their new group.”
Fogerty’s lawsuit was filed Friday in Los Angeles and names Stuart Cook and Douglas Clifford, who are two of the founding members of the band that had huge success in the 1970s. Cook and Clifford now perform the band’s songs under the name Creedence Clearwater Revisited.

In 2011, Fogerty sued the men over using the Creedence Clearwater name, but settled with them in 2001 for a share of their touring and merchandise income, according to a Fox411 report.
Forgerty’s lawsuit, which doesn’t reveal how much he is seeking, claims he hasn’t been paid his share since December 2011.
Fogerty and Creedence Clearwater Revisted are currently on tour.
