Joey Feek wasn’t always a singer. In fact, she and husband Rory Feek’s sister once ran a restaurant together.
Those days were part of the reminiscing that took place in recent days as Joey Feek enjoyed a visit from her sister-in-law Marcy.
Rory shared a photo of the two ladies visiting–along with Joey and Rory Feek’s little girl Indiana–on the couple’s Facebook page.
…my sister Marcy reminiscing w Joey (and Indy) about how they started the restaurant together nine years ago. What a beautiful blessing Marcy Jo's has been to our family and so many others.

Marcy and Joey opened Marcy Jo’s Mealhouse back in 2007. It is still in business in Tennessee today.
Joey Feek–half of the country/bluegrass duo Joey + Rory–is living out her last days in hospice care at her childhood home in Indiana. Suffering from stage IV cervical cancer, doctors told Joey this past fall that chemotherapy treatments weren’t working.
Knowing the end is near, Joey Feek recently told her husband she’s had conversations with Jesus, and when He is ready for her, she is ready to go home to Him.
She also has dictated a list of things Rory Feek is to remember to do after she is gone.

Visits like this one with Rory’s sister are precious to Joey Feek, but likely even more precious to Marcy. Every time a friend or loved one leaves Joey Feek’s side, they likely wonder if they’ll ever see her alive again.
