There’s nothing like a cute baby picture to lighten up the mood, or to deflect the unwanted attention being placed on your family.
Jill Duggar has been noticeably absent from social media ever since it was revealed that her older brother Josh molested several young girls.
But after weeks of hearing nothing but Josh’s mistake, their parents’ efforts to cover it up and the impact it will have on 19 Kids and Counting, Jill gave people something else to talk about, something cute.
The 24-year-old mom posted an adorable photo of her son Israel David wearing a colorful flannel diaper and a shirt that reads “2 Months.”
“Happy 2 month birthday #IsraelDavidDillard! We are so blessed to be your parents! May you grow up to love Jesus and serve others! #2monthbirthday @derickdillard,” Jill captioned the photo.
Her husband Derick Dillard posted the same photo a few minutes later with the message “Happy 2 month birthday Israel! May you continue to grow both in stature and in favor with the Lord and also with man.”
Jill gave birth to baby Israel on April 6, after a grueling 70 hours of labor.
But the happy occasion has since been overshadowed by the molestation scandal the family is currently embroiled in.
Coincidentally, Jill posted the photo a day after Megyn Kelly aired the interview that she and her sister Jessa gave.
The two sisters admitted that they were two of his victims but felt that they have to “come out and speak” because “most of the stuff out there is lies.”

“It’s not true. And so for truth’s sake we want to set the record straight,” Jill said during the interview.
They described what Josh did as “subtle” and “mild” and that since then they had already dealt with the issue and have moved on.
