Baby Axl is the pride and joy of his mother Fergie and father Josh Duhamel and according to Fergie, the holidays were all about him. Axl got to experience his first Christmas and New Year’s eve this month and mommy and daddy appear to have enjoyed the holidays as much as Axl.
Fergie described Axl’s love for Christmas to People magazine saying,
“It’s really cute because he’s been looking at the tree and the lights in our house and he’s very fascinated by this and the ornaments,” she says. “He wants to touch it and feel the way that the bristles feel on his feet and hands and he’s very curious about it. It’s such a happy feeling as a parent to see the curiosity in your child’s eyes.”
Axl may have been a little to young to attend the ball drop in Times Square or accompany his mommy while she hosted the West Coast party on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest, but it’s safe to say that Fergie was thinking about him while she was there.
While baby Axl was tucked away in his warm bed, Fergie was bringing in the new year with stars like Daughtry, Fall Out Boy, Florida Georgia Line, Jason Derulo, and Ariana Grande and showing off her post-baby figure.
