Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield Surf in Hawaii

The Amazing Spiderman duo Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield spent some time catching waves in Hawaii last week with surfer, Roy Russell.

Russell, known as “The Dog,” is a 60-year old legendary surfer who runs the Rory Russell Surf School at Kona, Hawaii. Over the years he beat surfing records in the Pipeline Masters and the Hawaiian Pros.

Stone, 25, and Garfield, 30, have been dating since summer of 2011 and enjoyed some time in the water on January 3, surfing, wiping out, and laughing.

According to US Magazine, “They want to marry and have a family. They’re discussing it. Their schedules have been crazy, but they’re madly in love.”

However, the couple attempts to keep their relationship out of the limelight. Last year when Garfield was asked about Stone and if there was a “danger in taking work home,” he said, “Well, you’re assuming something there, which I will not be commenting about.”

Garfield, born in Los Angeles in 1983, maintains a dual citizenship between the United States and the United Kingdom, where his mother and paternal grandparents are from. His family moved back overseas when he was three years old, living in Epsom, Surrey.

During the ski sessions, Stone wore a long-sleeved shirt and shorts over a bikini and Garfield wore blue striped board shorts and a tank top.

In the sequel to The Amazing Spiderman, Stone and Garfield will continue to play the onscreen couple Gwen Stacy and Peter Parker.

The Amazing Spiderman 2 hits theaters in May 2014.
