Creepy Twilight Doll Pulled from Movie

Chucky could have played the part of Renesmee on “Breaking Dawn Part 2” and still would not have been as creepy as the doll they originally had planned to play the part.

I think all members of the Twilight gang were in agreement that the doll was one of the creepiest things they have ever seen. Thank goodness they decided to use actress, Mackenzie Foy’s, face instead of the manipulated doll face. The cast even nicknamed the doll “Chuckesmee” because it was so disturbing.

“Chuckesmee is one of the most grotesque animatronic babies ever to not be seen on film,” “Breaking Dawn” producer, Wyck Godfrey, said.

Director, Bill Condon, had the same reaction to the doll. “Chuckesmee was a giant misfire on all fronts,” he said. ”Truly, it was one of the most grotesque things I’ve ever seen. It was a horror show! There was one shot where I call, ‘Cut!’ and suddenly she turns her head and mechanically stares right into the camera. It was incredibly disturbing.”

The actress I feel most for is Nikki Reed, who had to actually hold the animatronic doll that weighed close to 60 pounds. Nikki spoke about the experience during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres on the “The Ellen Show”.

“I understand the theory behind it, you know, to have this little creature that does all the hand movements and stuff. I want the whole world to forgive me now before this movie comes out, because I’m holding like a 60-pound mechanical doll. It’s really difficult for me,” Reed said.
