Drunken Strawberries
Drunken strawberries are a fun way to add alcohol to your favorite fruit and this recipe is perfect for parties or backyard cookouts. Simply clean your strawberries as usual and allow them to soak in the alcohol of your choice for several hours.
The longer the strawberries soak, the “drunker” they will be. Champagne, rum and vodka are all great options. Remove them from the alcohol after they have soaked and pat them dry with a towel. Dip them in chocolate to not only give them more flavor but to also help seal in the alcohol. Be sure to let guests know that the strawberries contain alcohol before they start to eat them.
Cheesecake Stuffed Strawberries
If you love strawberries on top of your cheesecake, you are going to love cheesecake in your strawberries. Simply take a paring knife and remove the top of each strawberry. Hollow out each one and use a spoon to add your favorite cheesecake mixture to the center of the berry. Dip the berries in melted chocolate, allow them to set and serve.

Deep Fried Strawberries
If you are ready for a really unique twist on chocolate covered strawberries, try deep frying them. Simply dip your strawberries in chocolate and freeze them. Dip the frozen berries in batter and fry until golden brown. Dust with powdered sugar and serve. If you desire, you can wait and dip the strawberries in chocolate after they have been fried instead.
You can also add a cheesecake filling to the strawberries before you dip them in chocolate and fry them for an even more delicious twist on the recipe.
