Bobby Brown, Whitney Houston’s Daughter Dies: Bobbi Kristina Brown Dead at 22

Bobby Brown welcomed a new baby girl with wife Alicia Etheredge just a couple of weeks ago in California. On Sunday he said goodbye to another. Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away on Sunday at the age of 22 at the Peachtree Christian Hospice outside of Atlanta. Bobby Brown was at her side.

It was back on January 31 that Bobbi Kristina was discovered unconscious in a bathtub at her Roswell, Georgia home. Bobby Brown believed from the start that Nick Gordon was responsible. He never allowed Gordon to visit Bobbi Kristina while she was in the hospital, the rehab center that followed, or the hospice where she spent the last month of her life. Gordon was named in a civil lawsuit a couple of weeks ago, alleging he physically and mentally abused Bobbi Kristina Brown, and withdrew money from her bank account without permission.

Bobbi Kristina was the only child of Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston. She was estranged from her father for a time, shortly after Whitney Houston’s death in 2012. The two reconciled in the past couple of years and were on good terms.

The Houston family issued a statement following Bobbi Kristina Brown’s death earlier on Sunday.

“Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away July, 26 2015, surrounded by her family,” the statement reads. “She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months.”

Bobby Brown is no doubt devastated that Bobbi Kristina has passed away. Hopefully a media circus doesn’t make life even more difficult for Bobbi Kristina’s surviving family members in the coming days. They are suffering enough from her untimely passing.

It will be very interesting to learn if Nick Gordon is arrested for murder now that Bobbi Kristina has died. If Bobby Brown has his way, that’s exactly what will happen next.

It’s heartbreaking to learn Bobbi Kristina Brown has passed away. It’s equally as heartbreaking to imagine the pain family members like Bobby Brown, grandmother Cissy Houston, and aunt Pat Houston are feeling.
