Anne Hathaway has had a pretty amazing career and has starred in a number of hit films.
In spite of all of her accomplishments, she still feels like she just can’t win over the crowd and is upset that many of her fans have turned into haters.
In the October issue of Elle UK, Anne talks about fame and the effects it has had on her.
“This fame thing? (Expletive) me up for a really long time. I didn’t know how to do it; I didn’t know how to engage with it; it stressed me out. And people would say, ‘You just have to be yourself,’ and I was like, ‘But I don’t know who that is yet,’” she said.
In addition to being on the cover of Elle UK, Hathaway is also on the cover of the November issue of Harper’s Bazaar.

The actress said that one of the biggest problems she has with fame is that the world tries to tell you who you are or who you can’t be.
She said that people have a hard time finding her sexy and that it’s something that bothers her and has even cost her some movie roles.
While these things used to get to her, Hathaway claims that she has learned to ignore the haters and rumors that surround her and is comfortable with who she is now, regardless of how everyone else feels about her.
“I’ve realized that I don’t need validation from anybody. At all. I’m not sitting here now worrying, ‘What do you think of me?’ With all due respect, you seem like a lovely lady, but I don’t need you, or anyone else, to like me,” Hathaway said. “And that’s so liberating. It’s a big reveal, man.”
The haters sure haven’t stopped Hathaway from doing what she loves and she has been busy working on several films. She is currently promoting Interstellar and also filming The Intern.
