Google Q3 Earnings Set to Be Released

cyber

Today, Google will reveal its Q3 earnings report, followed by a call at 4:30 EST to discuss it.

Update: Find the earnings report here.

Google reported a 32% increase (year-over-year) in revenue in its Q2 report in July at a record $9 billion for the quarter. Google’s own sites generated $6.23 billion, with AdSense partner sites generating $2.48 billion, an increase of 20% from the same period last year.

Will this quarter’s report follow a similar trend?

The expectations are high.

When Larry Page spoke on the call last quarter, he emphasized a continued focus on search, specifically referencing authorship markup. It will be interesting to see what is emphasized this time.

A report from Bloomberg came out this morning revealing that Google is getting audited by the IRS, which is looking into how Google handles its finances with regards to its offshore subsidiaries.

Stay tuned to WebProNews for coverage of the report as its released, and of the call.

There will be a live webcast of the call, which can be watched here. Google will also be offering a replay of the webcast following the call.
