Ben Carson Gets A Beatdown At Donald Trump Rally In SNL Parody

Saturday Night Live opened last night’s episode with a parody of Dr. Ben Carson’s endorsement of the Republican Presidential candidate, Donald Trump.

The hilarious spoof showed Beck Bennett as CNN’s Jake Tapper interviewing Trump at a rally in Florida, in which his newest supporter, Dr. Ben Carson, endorsed him. Donald Trump was portrayed by Darrell Hammond and Ben Carson was played by Jay Pharaoh.

“My guest today is so tremendous,” the businessman-turned-politician began. “Ben Carson is a very special man. And for once, I don’t mean that as an insult to the mentally challenged.”

“I am so thrilled to be here today. I am positively turnt,” Pharaoh said, imitating Dr. Carson. “Yes, Donald and I are very different. We’re like night and day, ebony and orangey. And sure, we’ve had our polite disagreements. I questioned his knowledge on health care, and he called me a psycho and a child molester.”

Trump butted in before Carson revealed weird facts about him. “Bye, America,” Carson said. “It’s been weird.”

SNL also made fun of Bernie Sanders’ popularity among young voters. “I’ve got supporters of all ages: 18-year-olds, 19-year-olds. And that’s it. The young people love me… because I’m just like them — I’ve got a lot of big plans and absolutely no idea how to achieve them,” Larry David’s Sanders said.

After Sanders’ interview, the news coverage cut back to the Trump rally in Florida where Dr. Ben Carson had been roughed up by an angry Trump mob after he was misidentified as a protester.

Carson held a “very classy Trump steak” over his eye while Trump reprimanded his supporters, “Guys – what did I say?! Not this one —this is one of the good ones! I’m sorry, Ben.”

Trump reportedly used his Super Tuesday 2 victory to advertise his business ventures including Trump steak.
