Google announced in a Google+ post the other day that campaign drafts and experiments are now available for early testing in AdWords (h/t: Search Engine Roundtable).
“Campaign drafts and experiments is a powerful feature that lets you quickly test changes to your AdWords campaigns, measure results, and apply those changes to help you meet your business goals,” the company explains.
Google opened a beta for campaign drafts and experiments to gather feedback. You can request a spot in the beta by contacting your account team or signing up here.
“Let’s say you want to increase your campaign mobile bid adjustment, but would first like to test how that change performs on a portion of your campaign traffic,” says Google. “Using campaign drafts and experiments, you can create a draft based on your existing campaign settings, set the new bid adjustment, then convert your draft into an experiment to test how those changes perform against your original campaign. Your original campaign will share budget with your experiment campaign, so you can decide how much traffic to split between the two.”
The company notes that indicating interest doesn’t mean you’ll necessarily be accepted into the beta. They’ll determine if you’re a good fit. If that happens, you’ll hear about it.
