Hootsuite Campaigns Goes Free For All Users

Hootsuite just announced the launch of a free version of its Hootsuite Campaigns feature aimed at helping businesses build and manage social campaigns to engage customers and generate leads.

“Ninety percent of Hootsuite users cite leads and conversion as their primary goals from social,” a spokesperson for the company tells WebProNews. “Hootsuite Campaigns simplifies online social marketing and enables any size business – from food trucks to Fortune 1000 companies – to launch successful social media campaigns and start collecting leads in as little as five minutes.”

Hootsuite Campaigns was launched a little over a year ago after the company acquired BrightKit. The feature was the result of the integration of BrightKit’s functionality into Hootsuite’s social media dashboard.

It was launched as an enterprise product to guide marketers through creating campaigns like contests, user-generated galleries, and sweepstakes.

Last month, the company announced Campaigns integration with Facebook’s latest Page features including new shopping and service sections and new call-to-action buttons.

Now, there’s a free version for all HootSuite users to help them launch sweepstakes and landing pages. It doesn’t have as many campaign types, as much scale, or as many customization options as paid options, but plenty of businesses will no doubt get by just fine with what’s offered.

“Intuitive and easy-to-use, Hootsuite Campaigns enables entrepreneurs and digital marketers to create effective social marketing campaigns – from social media contests to sweepstakes and galleries – across multiple platforms including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram,” Hootsuite says. “With a simple-to-use interface that is integrated with the Hootsuite platform, users are able to select campaign types that best fit their audience in order to deliver high impact and measurable results. Businesses can begin collecting leads and insights from customers in as little as five minutes.”
