Boulevard: Robin Williams’ Last Movie Gets an Official Trailer

Robin Williams provided a voice for the comedy Absolutely Anything, which is yet to be released. But in terms of on-screen roles, the late actor’s last movie is Boulevard, in which he plays a man coming the terms with his homosexuality.

Today, the film’s official trailer hit the web.

Here’s the film’s official synopsis:

Nolan Mack (Robin Williams) has worked at the same bank for almost 26 years in a life of monotony. He and his wife Joy (Kathy Baker) have embraced their marriage as a convenient distraction from facing reality. However one day, what starts as an aimless drive down an unfamiliar street turns into a life-altering decision for Nolan. When he meets a troubled young man named Leo (Roberto Aguire) on his drive home, Nolan finds himself breaking from the confines of his old life and coming to terms with who he really is.

The film, and especially Williams’ understated performance, received solid reviews after its premiere at Tribeca in 2014. The Hollywood Reporter called it a “tender but unsentimental take on a story that benefits from finesse.” Variety said that Williams “taps into the same loneliness felt in One Hour Photo and Good Will Hunting.”

The film is set to be released on July 10.
