Anna Duggar Urged By Fans To Get Away From Josh

Anna Duggar has three children with her husband Josh, and as her due date for the fourth child nears, Anna is being urged by fans of 19 Kids And Counting to take the kids and leave in the wake of the ever-mounting molestation scandal.

When news broke last month of a police report showing that Josh had sexually abused several girls–some of whom were his own sisters–as a teenager, the reality family was thrown into a whirlwind of accusations and questions. Josh resigned from his high-profile job at the Family Research Council in Washington, D.C., and Anna released a statement to People saying she knew about the molestation before she married Josh. Perhaps this, more than anything, has stuck in the minds of concerned fans, who have taken to social media to advise the young mother to get away while she still can.

“I can imagine the shock many of you are going through reading this. I remember feeling that same shock. When my family and I first visited the Duggar home, Josh shared his past teenage mistakes. I was surprised at his openness and humility and at the same time didn’t know why he was sharing it. For Josh, he wanted not just me but my parents to know who he really was – even very difficult past mistakes,” Anna said.

Anna continued, “He continued to do what he was taught. I know who Josh really is – someone who had gone down a wrong path and had humbled himself before God and those whom he had offended. Someone who had received the help needed to change the direction of his life and do what is right.”

Josh has pretty much stayed out of the public eye since the news broke, but his parents, Jim Bob and Michelle, sat down for an interview recently with Megyn Kelly to try and explain their side of the story. The interview has mostly been met with negative reactions and the media has been quick to point out several instances where the couple lied or dodged the truth.
