Ronda Rousey Has A Message For Walmart

office tech trends

Ronda Rousey has kickstarted quite a career in the last few years; not only is she one of the biggest names in the UFC, she’s also an actress, author, and all-around badass who has no problem taking on a retail giant the same way she takes on opponents.

Rousey recently had some choice words for Walmart, which decided to sell her new book only on their website instead of in brick-and-mortar stores because, as they reportedly said, the content is too “violent”. As the Washington Post points out, Walmart sells plenty of books containing graphic violence, such as The Walking Dead series, and they even sell actual guns and ammo. The company won’t comment directly on why they chose to keep the book off their shelves, but Rousey let it roll right off her like the awesome lady she is.

“Success is the best revenge” one of many lessons I learned from fighting that helped me fight through life’s battles off the mat and outside the octagon. @walmart is welcome to watch the success of this publication from the sidelines if they choose.

It should come as no surprise that Rousey isn’t letting even a big corporation such as Walmart get to her; she seems to be without fear and has taken down each and every opponent who has been brave–or foolish–enough to get in the ring with her. She even said recently about her Furious 7 co-stars that she didn’t think they would be able to do what she did in the film while wearing heels, a feat she accomplished easily alongside Michelle Rodriguez.

“Heels, designer dresses, marble floors…It was the most intense and painful fight that any of the guys could possibly have. If any of those guys did what they did in heels I would’ve been extra impressed,” Rousey told E! News.
