Becca Tilley Isn’t Interested In Another “Bachelor” Show

Becca Tilley, the runner-up on this season’s The Bachelor, says she isn’t interested in moving on to another show in the series, saying if she couldn’t find love on the first show, she doubts it will happen on a second one.

The 26-year old told Us Weekly that the process of Bachelor In Paradise is “rushed”, and while she has nothing against the show itself, she doesn’t think she would be a good fit.

“You know, I don’t think I would be a good fit on Bachelor in Paradise. It’s an even more rushed process. There have been … great people that have found love on there, but I don’t know if it would be something that I would be good in. If I couldn’t find it on my show, then a shorter amount of time probably wouldn’t work for me either,” Tilley said.

Tilley made it nearly to the end of the dating competition, but ultimately Chris Soules decided to go with 29-year old Whitney Bischoff. He proposed and now the couple are reportedly planning their future together; while they’re taking their time with wedding plans, Soules says he is ready to start a family. As for Tilley, Soules said they got close on the show, but ultimately she wasn’t in the same place in her life that he was.

“That doesn’t make it a bad thing, and it didn’t change how I felt about her, but it’s about trying to find the person that you can see in your life and that you have the best chance of making it work forever with. My sister said, ‘You’re not looking for a girlfriend, you’re looking for a wife.’ That’s the truth,” Soules said. “Becca has never been in love. Whitney has told me she loves me, and she’s close to 30 years old, she’s 29, she’s ready to be in love, ready to be married, and ready to have kids. Becca is kind of uncertain with all of those – those are big things when it comes to a relationship and when you’re wanting to be married. Those are kind of the main things.”
