Fans of Real Housewives of New Jersey looking to get closer to Teresa Giudice will be excited to know she has put up her Montville home for sale to the tune of $3.9 million. She and her husband Joe Giudice are facing mounting legal bills and a debt of $13.4 million besides facing possible prison sentences for conspiracy to commit fraud. Listing agent Frank Cooney told The Record that the couple is looking for a fresh start.
The house on 6 Indian Lane has been featured on the Real Housewives show often. It’s a 10,000-suqare-foot stone and stucco mansion that was custom-built with imported marble floors, Cinderella staircases, a two-story great room with fireplace, and a gourmet kitchen with butler’s pantry. The master bedroom comes with three walk-in closets, a gas fireplace and steam shower. In total, the house has five bedrooms, five full baths and a five-car garage that sits on a property measuring four acres.

The Giudices have always seemed to have money troubles when they were featured on Real Housewives of New Jersey, but matters came to a head for them in March when they pleaded guilty to several counts of fraud due to a 41-count indictment for bank, bankruptcy, mortgage and mail fraud. Teresa’s husband also pleaded guilty to failing to file a tax return in 2004 and admitted to not filing taxes on a $1 million income from 2004 to 2008. Teresa is facing up to 27 months in prison while her husband is facing up to four years. They will be sentenced on October 2.

The Montville home of the Giudices briefly went on sale in 2010 after they filed for bankruptcy, but they abruptly pulled out the listing. Teresa at the time tweeted, “HUGE NEWS CORRECTION-I’m telling you guys first and directly…MY HOUSE IS NOT FOR SALE!!! Sorry if you were dreaming of moving in w/ me. xx.” It was also selling for $3.9 million at the time.
