Dancing With The Stars Injury: Is This Season Cursed?
Written by Amanda Crum

As a former dancer, I understand that injuries are common, especially for those who are new to the art and haven’t gotten themselves acclimated to all the factors that come with it: floor conditions, costumes, unfamiliar shoes. They all take a toll.

However. There have been so many injuries this season on “Dancing With The Stars” that I’m beginning to wonder if the show is cursed. Or maybe some celebrity who was booted off last season has gone mad with jealousy and is lurking behind the scenes sabotaging things, “Showgirls” style. (If you haven’t seen “Showgirls”, I highly recommend it, but only if you are the type of person who likes things that are so bad they’re good.) Whatever the reason, it’s getting out of hand. William Levy is just the latest star to suffer an injury, this time during rehearsal. He tweeted to fans that he hurt his ankle and would be having an MRI done on Sunday.

Just Wanted to let u know that I injured my right ankle pretty bad during rehearsal.. MRI tomorrow. I’ll let u all know .. Love u all(image) 1 day ago via Twitter for iPhone ·  Reply ·  Retweet ·  Favorite · powered by @socialditto

Levy joins Maria Menounos, who hurt her ribs and foot last week, and Mellissa Gilbert, who fell and hit her head on the dance floor and was later diagnosed with a mild concussion.

Perhaps it’s just a string of bad luck, but here’s hoping the rest of this season’s cast stay healthy enough to finish.
