Teresa Giudice was released from prison last week, just in time to spend the holiday with her family, and she didn’t waste any time.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star reportedly spent some time at her brother’s house on Christmas Eve, where the family ate a traditional Italian meal and received a visit from a group of carolers.

“It was a nice evening, they kept it small with just the the Gorgas and the Giudices. They wanted it to be a quiet celebration for family. Melissa cooked a traditional Italian Christmas Eve meal of seven fishes,” a source told People.

The magazine reports that there was no drama between Melissa and Teresa, who have had a rocky relationship in the past. According to the source, the sisters-in-law sat down for a talk, although it’s unclear whether it was recorded for the Bravo cameras.

“I think it’s gonna be a really nice Christmas this year. I just think it’s gonna be a lot of new beginnings, hopefully just a fresh start, especially for Teresa,” Melissa told People earlier this year.

Teresa’s husband, Joe, was sentenced to prison as well in the fraud case that led to Teresa serving time, and will begin his 41-month stay sometime soon now that Teresa is home.

Joe Giudice entered a plea deal in October which earned him an additional 18-month sentence for allegedly using his brother’s ID to obtain a driver’s license while his own was suspended following a DUI. Despite the fact that Joe is not a U.S. citizen, the judge told him there is “Virtual certainty that you will be deported because of either this charge or the federal charge.”
