  • Blake Lively: Hubby Ryan Reynolds Cops a Feel in Instagram Post

Blake Lively was dealing with a rather frisky husband, as Ryan Reynolds copped a feel-grabbing her boob–in a recent Instagram post.

In the photo, the former Gossip Girl star is sitting on her husband’s lap, as he is perched on a Deadpool throne.

“Two Deadpools, one cup. Your turn #??L,” Blake Lively captioned the humorous photo.

Blake Lively’s husband stars in the upcoming Deadpool. The film is based on the Marvel character of the same name, and is the eighth of the X-Men films. It opens on February 12.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds married in 2012, and in 2014 they welcomed their daughter James. Reynolds has recently come under fire for naming their daughter a moniker normally associated with a man.

He recently defended the choice, explaining he and Blake Lively named her after his dad, who had recently passed away.

It seems there’s not much that’s typical about Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, but that’s likely what keeps their romance fresh.

  • Dan Stevens Plays Schizophrenic in New “X-Men” Show Called “Legion”

Dan Stevens is set to play the role of a diagnosed schizophrenic in a new X-Men show called Legion. The Downton Abbey star has signed on to the show based on a Marvel comic book.

Described as a “haunted man,” Dan Stevens becomes David in the upcoming show–a character who is working to “find his way back to sanity.”

Parks and Recreation alum Aubrey Plaza also stars in Legion. She plays Dan Stevens’ character’s friend Lenny, who is trying to put the pieces of her life–riddled with drugs and alcohol–back together again.

Jean Smart of Fargo fame is part of the Legion cast, too. She plays the role of a therapist.

Dan Stevens was beloved by Downton Abbey fans in his role as Matthew Crawley. Aubrey Plaza spent seven seasons on Parks and Recreation as April Ludgate.

Production on Legion is set to begin next month. An air date for the pilot has yet to be released.

What’s your take on this all-star cast for the upcoming X-Men show Legion?

Will you tune in to see Dan Stevens, Aubrey Plaza, Jean Smart, and more in Legion when it airs on FX some time in the near future?

  • Olivia Munn, Beau Aaron Rodgers Gear Up — Literally — For ‘Star Wars’

The force is apparently with Olivia Munn and her beau, Green Bay Paker’s quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

With less than a week before the much-anticipated Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits theaters, the 35-year-old Newroom actress and Rodgers, 32, teamed up for a shot donning Star Wars attire, looking very otherworldly.

Olivia posted the pic to Instagram Friday showing the twosome facing off in Star Wars gear and asking followers who wore it best.

“Who’s the bigger #StarWars fan…The one who bought this awesome shirt at @oldnavy or the one who already owned his own Obi-Wan Kenobi robe?” she captions the photo of herself in a festive T-shirt with Aaron donning a Jedi costume.

This little stellar showdown isn’t the first time the two have shown their love of pop culture.
According to Access Hollywood, Olivia showed off her sword fighting skills that she learned while preparing for her role in X-Men in a memorable social media clip she posted in June.

Looks like Olivia could wield a light saber effectively.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits theaters on Dec. 17.

So which one really did wear it best and should be dubbed the biggest Star Wars fan? Olivia Munn or Aaron Rodgers?

  • Ian McKellen Wasn’t Allowed To Be Himself Until Coming Out

Ian McKellen is like an elder statesman in the gay community. Anytime some uncle at Thanksgiving makes a homophobic comment stereotyping gay people, all you have to do is point at Ian McKellen. The idea of an old, gay man throws people.

Sir Ian McKellen is not only outspoken about his own homosexuality — in the most tasteful manner, of course — but he defends and aids others who are hushed into a corner, afraid to dare be themselves.

In a recent interview, Ian McKellen even went so far as to say that his coming out in 1988 to his family and the media, was the start of something refreshing and better for him.

He was 49 years years old before he took that step. Before that, McKellen says, he “wasn’t truly allowed” to be himself. In fact, he used acting as a way to “run away from real life.”

For an actor, that is a terrible place to be. Finding truth in a part, and connecting that truth to your own personal experience, is something any actor, whether they are Method or not, calls upon at least occasionally, if not regularly.

“I was finally allowed to be in touch with my own emotions,” says McKellen of coming out. “So acting became about telling the truth. It was a huge change.”

Ian McKellen, who had fallen in love with acting at a young age, was finally able to connect his adult life with the fascination he felt as a boy watching actors on stage.

“I enjoyed what I was watching so much that I wanted to see how it was done,” McKellen said of his childhood experience in theatre.

But his coming out didn’t just affect his life as an actor.

“My life got better in every way [after coming out,]” says McKellen. “I don’t say I became a better cook, but I became a better son, a better brother, a better uncle, and a better actor – a different actor, anyway.”

  • Olivia Munn Shows Up Beau Aaron Rodgers During Training

Olivia Munn has been training hard for her role in the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse film, and she recently posted a video on Instagram showing just how well her training has gone.

Munn–who will be playing Psylocke in the 2016 movie–shows off her impressive sword-play moves, spinning it with one hand until it becomes a blur as her boyfriend tries–and fails–to mimic her moves. Green Bay Packer Aaron Rodgers practices with his own staff in the video and doesn’t quite make it, much to the amusement of Munn’s Instagram followers.

The video already has over 35,000 likes on the image-sharing site and has garnered over 3,500 comments, with many of her fans excited to see a sneak preview of her skills.

    Learned some new tricks…

A video posted by Olivia Munn (@oliviamunn) on

Munn told Conan O’Brien recently that when she first met Rodgers, she didn’t know what he did for a living, much less understand how big he is in the football world.

“When I met him, I said, ‘So, what do you do?’ And he’s like, ‘Oh, I play football.’ I go, ‘Cool, what college?’ He’s like, ‘Oh no, I play professionally.’ I go, ‘Cool, what position?’ He’s like, ‘Quarterback.’ That was kinda it, not knowing that he’s like, you know, Super Bowl MVP, or any of those things,… All I saw was that he was really attractive. I didn’t really care what he did,” Olivia said.

For Rodgers, dating an actress came with the need for understanding regarding the media and how tabloids race to cover their relationship, but he told ESPN that he’s okay with it.

“For one, I’m real happy in my relationship. And I understand what comes with it. And two, the last couple years I’ve learned a lot about perspective and what’s important. And, that you cannot, when you’ve had success individually and collectively as a team and you are highlighted for the things you’ve done on the field and off the field, you cannot hide from the spotlight. You have to learn to embrace it.”

  • Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult Give Fans a Shock [Pics]

Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult are back together? That’s the buzz: “Joult” is all snuggled up on the set of an upcoming film.

    Here’s what’s going on.

X-Men: Apocalypse director Bryan Singer posted a pic of himself huddled up with Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult to Instagram on Thursday. Commenters on the pic were ecstatic that the pair — commonly referred to as “Joult” by fans — were working so closely.

    “Joult, back together please”

    “guys I’m screaming”

    “omfg so excited”

Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult were an item after they met on the set of 2011’s X-Men: First Class. But they split last August. Jennifer Lawrence has since been making tabloid headlines with Coldplay singer and Gwyneth Paltrow ex, Chris Martin. Nicholas Hoult is rumored to be pairing up with former Glee star Dianna Agron.

Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult reported to the set of the new X-Men film, but not until she got some fun in the sun time in. She recently hung out with friends in Mexico at The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort.

The resort’s FB page welcomed Lawrence and friends:

“The Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence enjoyed the Punta Mita beaches with friends and ventured off into a sport fishing tour with Spearmex,”

Jennifer Lawrence posted Instagram pics of her own from the beaches.

Nicholas Hoult himself is fresh off a big win with Mad Max: Fury Road. In the film, he played the character “Nux.” And Nicholas Hoult recently tweeted out about a featurette video of his character.

  • Olivia Munn Cast as Telepathic Mutant Psyclocke for ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’

Olivia Munn has joined the cast of X-Men: Apocalypse and will play telepathic mutant Psylocke.

The announcement came Monday from Producer/Director Bryan Singer, who announced the news on his Twitter page.

“Excited to welcome @oliviamunn as Betsy Braddock! #Psylocke #XmenApocalypse #XMEN,” he wrote,” linking to a photo of the actress he posted on his Instagram page.

According to CNN, Olivia Munn will play Betsy Braddock, a.k.a. Psylocke, created by Chris Claremont and Herb Trimpe for the British Captain Britain series. She was a mainstay throughout the 1970 and 80s in the comic book series before joining the X-Men series in 1987’s Uncanny X-Men No. 213.

Psylocke has had some dramatic changes over the years, and it should be fun to see how Bryan Singer and Olivia Munn mold the character for this appearance.

Olivia Munn, 34, thanked her fans for their support in her own Tweet.

“From G4 to XMEN you’ve been THE BEST road dogs. Thanks for staying on the ride with me. This one’s for you,” she wrote.

Excited to welcome @oliviamunn as Betsy Braddock! #Psylocke #XmenApocalypse #XMEN

A photo posted by Bryan Singer (@bryanjaysinger) on

Olivia Munn should find dressing up as Psylocke easy enough, since she has been snapped before dressed as Street Fighter‘s Chun Li.

However, Olivia may struggle with the physical challenge of playing Psylocke, who is an expert martial arts fighter.

Olivia Munn joins other X-Men: Apocalypse cast members James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Lana Condor, Sophie Turner, Alexandra Shipp and Tye Sheridan.

X-Men: Apocalypse is due out May 27, 2016.

What do you think of Olivia Munn as Psylocke?

  • Olivia Munn Will Play X-Men’s Psylocke, She’s The Perfect Geek For The Role

Psylocke has finally arrived in the X-Men movie universe, and who better to play her than everyone’s favorite geek girl, Olivia Munn.

The news was shared by none other than X-Men director Bryan Singer who tweeted “Excited to welcome @oliviamunn as Betsy Braddock” along with a link to an Instagram photo of Munn.

The 34-year-old Munn is the perfect choice to play Psylocke. You can say the two underwent similar journeys.

Psylocke, aka Betsey Braddock, is one of the X-Men characters who have undergone sweeping changes. She initially started out as this meek character with butterfly-themed powers. Known mostly as the twin of Captain Britain, she morphed into this badass, pseudo-Asian, energy-sword wielding ninja with psychic abilities mutant that she is in the comics today.

While Munn admittedly hasn’t undergone anything as drastic as changing bodies with a Japanese assassin, she still has come a long way from her days as a co-host of G4’s nerdy but groundbreaking talk show Attack of the Show, where she reviewed movies, video games and other stuff considered too geeky to discuss on CNN.

An avid and unabashed cosplayer, Munn is also no stranger to dressing up in costumes. She has dressed up in pretty much everything, but her Wonder Woman and Slave Leia costumes are two of her most memorable and popular ones.

Munn will be joining Sophie Turner and Ben Hardy who will play Jean Grey and Angel respectively in the next installment of the franchise. X-Men: Apocalypse will also feature Rose Byrne, Nicholas Hoult, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy and Evan Peters who will each reprise their roles from the previous X-Men movie. Sirs Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart, who played Magneto and Professor X originally, will not be returning in this outing.

X-Men: Apocalypse is slated to be released in theaters on May 2016.

  • Dianna Agron and Nicholas Hoult: Are They Dating?

Dianna Agron of Glee fame and Jennifer Lawrence’s ex-boyfriend Nicholas Hoult have been spotted out and about in London recently, causing many to speculate that the two might be a couple. The Sun reports that the two have even engaged in a bit of PDA.

The actors have been to The Black Lion in Hammersmith and The Gallery in West Hampstead, preferring the cozy pubs over London’s nightclubs.

A source tells People magazine that they didn’t see anything that would indicate the two are a couple.

“They came in with each other and ordered some drinks. They sat down and had a conversation just like everyone else,” the source said of Dianna Agron and Nicholas Hoult. “They seemed like they had a nice time, but we didn’t see them kissing. But then, we were working, so we weren’t really looking.”

“It was definitely them. Both of them are very beautiful, so it’s difficult to miss them. They weren’t flirting or kissing or anything. It wasn’t like they were a couple. Maybe they were just getting to know each other,” the source added.

Back in February, Dianna Agron was seen at a pre-Oscars party with Hunger Games star Josh Hutcherson. Was she dating him, too?

Nicholas Hoult is best known for his X-Men role, and will star in the upcoming Mad Max: Fury Road. Dianna Agron is in London where she’ll star next month in the James Phillips play McQueen.

What do you think of Dianna Agron and Nicholas Hoult as a couple? Do you suppose they’re dating as one source hinted at, or just friends as another seemed to believe instead? And if they’re dating, what happened to Josh Hutcherson? Whatever they had didn’t seem to last too long.

  • January Jones Goes From Bored Housewife To Nude Model [Photo]

January Jones bares all in a tasteful black and white photo for The Violet Files.

Jones poses topless with her exposed breasts only partially hidden beneath a mermaid hairdo. The 37-year-old actress also models six different hairstyles and five outfits for the Los Angeles based luxury magazine.

The Mad Men star reeled away from her bored housewife role as Betty Draper to exploring the role of nude model for the magazine.

Aside from the daring nude photo, her other shots prove more fashion-forward as Jones poses in a wardrobe fabulously styled by Elizabeth Stewart. The X-Men: First Class vixen works a star-bedazzled emerald top in one shoot. She also models a plunging raspberry red evening dress with floral embellishments. Jones poses with a sultry demeanor, anchored by a come-hither look.

Her head shots also finds her channeling Hollywood icon Marilyn Monroe. Jones gently teases her cropped blonde hair s she cups her face in both hands.

Albeit looking too pretty to handle, Jones shares that she started losing her self-confidence when she started growing into her good looks. In an interview with ET, Jones shared that she became more insecure when she got “pretty”.

“I was at my most confident as a kid,” she said as she shares pictures of awkward, 9-year-old self to fans. “It actually wasn’t until I got into high school and started to get quote-unquote pretty that my confidence started to disappear. So I want to give the message that girls can be proud and self-assured no matter what funky haircut they have,” Jones said while showing a picture of her soup bowl haircut.

Jones also said that she feels sexy and vulnerable without makeup. Despite having said so, she still relies on luscious red lip color to glam herself up.  “It’s like you’ve put your armor on for the day,” she says.

  • Jennifer Lawrence: Next ‘X-Men’ Movie is Her Last

Jennifer Lawrence will star in next year’s movie, X-Men: Apocalypse, but the actress has admitted that the film will be her last for that franchise. Lawrence has starred as the blue-skinned mutant Mystique in the series of films since 2011.

It was during a recent interview with MTV that Jennifer Lawrence admitted this was the last time she’d appear in an X-Men film.

“It is my last one, yes,” she said.

Jennifer Lawrence is the second X-Men star to say she’s leaving the franchise. Her ex-boyfriend and costar Nicholas Hoult said during a recent interview with E! News that he, too, would be performing in his role as the Beast for the last time in X-Men: Apocalypse.

It’s uncertain thus far if this upcoming film has plans to write both characters out of the franchise or if someone else will take over both Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult’s roles when the next X-Men film is made. It’s important to remember that Jennifer Lawrence is the second person to play Mystique in the franchise. The role was previously played by Rebecca Romijn. And since Mystique is a shape changer, it wouldn’t be all that difficult to fill Jennifer Lawrence’s shoes.

Will you be checking out both Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult for the last time in their X-Men roles when X-Men: Apocalypse hits theaters on May 27th of next year?

  • Jon Stewart Says America’s Enemies Are Not the X-Men

Comedian and Daily Show host Jon Stewart has a knack for simplifying things. His show is known for taking the hype and drama spun by the 24-hour “news” networks and reducing it to snips and bites that reveal what’s really going on. Jon Stewart is the kid who exposed the emperor as being naked, but that kid grew up to get a TV show.

Stewart took a break from that show back in the summer of of 2013 to go film a movie. His hiatus left John Oliver in the big chair on the Daily Show set for Comedy Central, which went on to launch Oliver’s own show, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver on HBO.

It is that film that Stewart made in his eight-week absence from his own show that is getting attention now. It is called Rosewater, and it is based on the memoir Then They Came for Me by Maziar Bahari and Aimee Molloy. After participating in an interview on The Daily Show in 2009 where he answered questions about the presidential election in Iran, Bahari was arrested and imprisoned for four months because of that interview on Stewart’s show. He was brutally interrogated by a man Bahari came to call Rosewater.

Bahari never saw his torturer. He would be blindfolded every time he was interrogated. But the man torturing him smelled like rosewater. Yet, in the film, Rosewater is not portrayed as some faceless representation of evil, but as a human. He is seen having a phone conversation with his wife. He has to deal with a pain in the ass boss.

Stewart spoke to Salon about his treatment of this torturer in the film. He says he deliberately chose to present Rosewater as human.

“Yes. Very much so. That was important for many different reasons. One is, they are human beings. So why not present them as such? You know, they’re not the X-Men. They’re not monsters, and if you’re going to battle something effectively, then to see it in a …”

Stewart trails off into a more specific application of his point. Not seeing our enemies as human is an American habit that does not serve America well.

“We have a tendency in this country, whether it be Ebola or ISIS, that whatever is the new threat becomes the new super-threat. It’s not a bug, it’s a superbug! It’s not a predator, it’s a super-predator! It’s this thing … We can’t bring prisoners from Guantánamo here because, for God’s sake, Magneto could break out of that cell. And what are we going to do then? They’ll wreak havoc throughout the land!”

Keeping with his general mission of deflating the hyperbole and rhetoric of what passes for “news channels” in America, Stewart feels that it is important for Americans to see things as they really are, not as Big Headline declares them to be.

“The general conversation between Iran and America has been this: ‘You are the axis of evil!’ … “Well, you’re the great Satan!” … So the bar has been set relatively low as far as nuance goes.”

Seeing our enemies as human is not so much about sympathizing as it is about realizing that they are beatable. And that they are not all the same, not some faceless mass of a society that all have the same opinion on topics like democracy and the West in general.

“More importantly, I wanted to portray not so much even his interrogator in that way, but that element of Iranian society, those kids and that [anti-Ahmadinejad, pro-democracy] movement as something that Westerners might look at and go, ‘Oh, you know, I had a sense of this culture as monolithic, but that’s very relatable.’ And it’s not exaggerated, it’s not unreal. That’s what is there.”

Despite his even-handed treatment of the subject, Stewart — who is Jewish — is being accused by Iran of serving Zionist interests. In Iran, the presidential election of 2009 is called “the American-Israeli sedition of 2009.”

“Jon has been directing an ultra-formulaic movie commissioned by his masters. Jon is filming Rosewater, the story of the American-Israeli sedition in 2009,” said an Iranian state TV report on Stewart’s film.

  • Jennifer Lawrence’s Ex Nicholas Hoult Condemns Nude Photo Leak

Jennifer Lawrence recently shared her thoughts about the leak of her private, nude photos, and her ex-boyfriend and X-Men co-star Nicholas Hoult joined her in slamming the perpetrators.

During an appearance on Good Day New York to promote his new film, Young Ones, the host asked Hoult about the scandal.

“It’s shocking that things like that happen in the world,” he said. “It’s a shame.”

Earlier this week, Lawrence shared her thoughts about the leak with Vanity Fair.

“It is not a scandal. It is a sex crime,” the Oscar-winning actress said. “It’s disgusting. The law needs to be changed, and we need to change. That’s why these Web sites are responsible.”

“Just the fact that somebody can be sexually exploited and violated, and the first thought that crosses somebody’s mind is to make a profit from it. It’s so beyond me. I just can’t imagine being that detached from humanity. I can’t imagine being that thoughtless and careless and so empty inside.”

The 24-year-old actress was with Hoult when the photos were taken and said she was in “a loving, healthy, great relationship for four years. It was long distance, and either your boyfriend is going to look at porn or he’s going to look at you.”

Lawrence told Vanity Fair she wanted to have her say for weeks after the photos were leaked, but it proved too difficult because “every single thing that I tried to write made me cry or get angry. I started to write an apology, but I don’t have anything to say I’m sorry for.”

According to Lawrence, it’s time to move on, forgive and not allow this intrusion into her private life determine her fate.

“Time does heal, you know,” she said. “I’m not crying about it anymore. I can’t be angry anymore. I can’t have my happiness rest on these people being caught, because they might not be. I need to just find my own peace.”

  • “X-Men: Apocalypse” Focus Is On Mystique, The Beast

X-Men: Apocalypse won’t be released until May of 2016, but die hard fans are already starting to get excited as speculation ramps up about the latest X-Men installment.

The third movie in the X-Men trilogy is highly anticipated after the immense success of X-Men: Days of Future Past and X-Men: The Last Stand. Days of Future Past grossed over $746 million at the box office, making it the most successful X-Men movie yet.

Days of Future Past writer and producer Simon Kinberg recently revealed some juicy details of X-Men: Apocalypse to Collider.

Kinberg said that X-Men: Apocalypse is, indeed, the last of the series.

He also revealed that Jennifer Lawrence‘s Mystique will be at the center of the plot, which will be set in the 1980s.

As for the story behind X-Men: Apocalypse, he says,

“I will say that [X-Men: Apocalypse] is definitely the close of a trilogy for those First Class characters, which isn’t to say we won’t see them in future movies, hopefully we will, but it’s a completion of an arc for them. I think that the friendship between Erik and Charles, which has always been so integral to the franchise, is something we’re continuing to explore and hopefully deepen with Apocalypse.”

He continued, “And the relationship between Beast and Mystique is a really interesting one that we didn’t have a lot of time to explore in Days of Future Past, so we’ll have an opportunity to do more of that in Apocalypse.”

In the X-Men films, First Class can be seen as Erik Lehnsherr’s (aka Magneto) story and Days of Future Past can be seen as Charles Xavier’s (aka Professor X) story.

Kinberg said that he couldn’t reveal too much about the full plot at this early stage, but did say that the influence both Erik and Charles had on Mystique will be a major feature in X-Men: Apocalypse.

“Part of what’s really interesting about Mystique’s character is that she is, in some ways, the child of both Erik and Charles. She grew up with Charles and then she sort of became a woman with Erik, so her being the cross-pollination, if you will, of those two philosophies and those two men is something we can explore in the movie too.”

So exciting! What are you hoping to see in X-Men: Apocalypse?

  • Jennifer Lawrence: More Nude Pics Reportedly Leaked

Jennifer Lawrence: More Nude Pics Reportedly Leaked

The Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence is facing controversy again due to more leaks of her alleged nude photos, which were posted on the site 4chan last Saturday. Along with Lawrence, other celebrities also supposedly have photos in this round of leaks, including Kim Kardashian, Gabrielle Union and Vanessa Hudgens.

The collection of photos reportedly hacked from celebrity iCloud accounts includes more than 60 photos of Lawrence in various states of undress. Some of the photos were confirmed by a representative as being of her, but other photos have not been confirmed to be of the Oscar-winning actress. Several photos are said to show Lawrence trying on clothes and wearing sexy lingerie, and most have been described as explicit. One GIF showed a woman resembling Lawrence performing a sexual act on a man.

HollywoodLife.com reported that one of the photos showed Lawrence in her make-up as the character of Mystique in the X-Men film franchise, which has caused fans to question whether the star is in danger of being booted from the movie franchise. “Jennifer’s role in future X-Men films will not be affected at all over the photo leak. People close to the film are aware things like this happen and it shouldn’t do anything to her role because she never did it on purpose,” said an insider of the film series.

The source also referred to X-Men director Bryan Singer’s past scandals, which did not get him in trouble with his film projects. The source implied that it wouldn’t look good if the franchise spared Singer and vilified Lawrence.

Singer was accused twice this year of sexual assault. Charges against him in April were later dropped by the accuser in August . Another time was in May, a man based in London claimed he was assaulted in 2006 when Singer was in town for Superman Returns.

  • Jennifer Lawrence, Chris Martin Enjoy Getaway

Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin enjoyed a romantic getaway within the past couple of weeks. The two traveled to New York where they took in the beautiful scenery at the Wolffer Estate Vineyard. The trip was an early birthday celebration for the American Hustle star who turned twenty-four just a few days after their return.

“They were there on a date,” a source said. “They were very low-key, nobody realized who they were. The setting was super-romantic. They watched the sun go down together, then quietly left.”

Another source made mention that a piece of art by Hayden Kays–a print of a human heart, with lettering reading ‘handle with care’ written all over it–was purchased by the Coldplay front man and was likely a birthday gift for Jennifer Lawrence. That sounds rather romantic, too.

It sounds like things have definitely heated up for the couple. It wasn’t so long ago that Jennifer Lawrence’s split from X-Men costar Nicholas Hoult made news, and just a few months prior to that news of Chris Martin’s ‘uncoupling’ from wife Gwyneth Paltrow added a new word to pretty much everyone’s vocabulary.

Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin were reportedly still living together as recently as June in their efforts to make life less complicated for their children. How do you suppose Jennifer Lawrence fits in with that plan?

“They’ve tried to keep things as stable and consistent as possible for their kids,” a says. “They spend a lot of time together as a family and haven’t changed things since they announced they were splitting up. Other than taking off their wedding bands, they seem closer than ever.”

Do you expect Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin are in this for the long haul or is he simply testing the waters since his ‘uncoupling’ from Gwyneth? The romantic getaway he and the Hunger Games star went on didn’t seem like the kind of excursion taken by those who are just casually dating.

  • Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin: For Real?

Jennifer Lawrence is rumored to be dating Coldplay front man and Gwyneth Paltrow’s sort-of ex, Chris Martin. Is there any truth to this? It seems there very well may be.

E! reports that the two have been romantically linked for several weeks now–despite the fact that Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin are only separated–and not divorced. It was only a week or so ago that word hit the media regarding Jennifer Lawrence’s split from her X-Men costar Nicholas Hoult. Has the American Hustle star had an incredibly busy summer?

Yesterday was Jennifer Lawrence’s 24th birthday, but there didn’t seem to be any sightings of her with her new beau celebrating her big day. Twitter was abuzz with word of her birthday, however.

It was back in March when Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow issued a statement about their split.

“We have always conducted our relationship privately, and we hope that as we consciously uncouple and coparent, we will be able to continue in the same manner,” they said–making the word ‘uncoupling’ the topic of articles and news reports all around the world.

They have no doubt remained ‘uncoupled’ if Chris has in fact taken up with Jennifer Lawrence. Does that mean Chris and Jennifer are ‘consciously coupling?’

This definitely isn’t the first time Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin’s names have come up in conversation. After all, Coldplay played a role in the soundtrack for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Jennifer Lawrence, of course, plays The Hunger Games heroine, Katniss Everdeen.

What’s your take? Do you think there’s really something romantic going on between still-legally-married Chris Martin and Jennifer Lawrence? And if so, what do you suppose Gwyneth Paltrow thinks of the situation?

Surely fans of all three celebrities will be watching and waiting for official words or photos that either confirm or shut down this romance rumor.

Rebecca Romijn knows a little bit about painting her entire body blue. She went through the agony of sitting in a makeup chair for nine hours a day while they transformed her from blonde supermodel into the character Mystique in the X-Men films.

The Skin Wars host offered up some advice to help out the contestants on the first ever body painting reality show competition. “I really felt like I had a lot to offer on the subject. And the amazing thing about being painted is that once you’re completely painted you don’t feel nude. You do not feel nude. And you’ll see it in the body language.” She added, “You sort of have to go to a zen place. You have to get into some fairly awkward positions to help out the person who’s painting you.”

For her role as a shape-shifting mutant in the X-Men movies, Romijn was totally covered in blue body paint. Her call times were often midnight in order to be ready to shoot by the next morning. Of course, one of the side effects of being covered in blue paint is leaving a trail, “Blue paint on everything, including every time I had to go use the loo, blue toilet seats,” Romijn said. “Everybody knew when I had to go use the bathroom because there was a blue toilet seat.”

It seems that Jennifer Lawrence got away easy when she took on the role of Mystique in the second X-Men movie she appeared in, X-Men: Days of Future Past. The blue paint caused nasty skin irritations when she did the first movie, so she got to wear a body suit the second time around. “Not that Jennifer Lawrence didn’t do a great job, she’s phenomenal. I love sharing that role with that girl,” Romijn stated. “She’s as cool as they come. But I do think nine hours of makeup makes you the villain you need to be to be Mystique.” X-Men: Apocalypse is currently is pre-production.

Skin Wars made its premiere last night on GSN. New episodes are set to air every Wednesday at 9 pm. It is the first television show that is entirely devoted to body art. Romijn hosts the reality competition. RuPaul, Craig Tracy, and Robin Slonina serve as judges.

  • Ian McKellen Salutes Gay Pride Parade Revellers

Sir Ian McKellen made an appearance at the Pride in London Parade on Saturday.

The parade is just one part of the city’s week-long Pride in London festival, which takes place every year to celebrate gay rights.

McKellen, 75, who came out at the age of 49 during a BBC radio interview, was on-hand to introduce Eurovision song contest winner Conchita Wurst.

“Show business has always led the way when it comes to the freedom to be yourself,” said the Lord of the Rings actor to a crowd of more than 300,000.

“So, Conchita is following in the footsteps of our predecessors. There is a long tradition of outrageousness and confidence that performers embody, and that has an enormous impact. It clears the way for others to dare to be themselves. She has done just that.”

McKellen told the revellers about his memories of the first parade he attended around 25 years ago, saying he will “never forget the feeling of being able to walk along all ages and experiences, and to finally be cheered for being ourselves.”

“Today I have seen people in wheelchairs, all ages, teenagers, from all countries, and they are all proud of who we are,” said the X-Men star. “There are teenagers who have travelled from their own home countries to London for this, and when I see that I can say that in all honesty the world must have changed for the better. For that, I am grateful to all the old timers who pioneered the gay rights movement.”

  • Channing Tatum Hopes Gambit Isn’t a Hero In the New ‘X-Men’ Film

Channing Tatum has been rumored to have a possible role in the next X-Men film.

While no details have been released about the upcoming film, the 22 Jump Street actor has shared his perspective about one of the characters he could possibly portray – Gambit.

The famous character is commonly depicted as a thieving mutant, super-hero who uses his powers to control pure kinetic energy.

During a recent interview with MTV News, the 34-year-old actor discussed how he’s hoping that Gambit’s character takes on an antagonistic persona, as opposed to being the hero. The role of Gambit is one that Tatum has shown interest in for quite some time.

“We’ve talked about it being a standalone, first, and actually trying to change the ‘hero, superhero movie.’ Because Gambit is not your typical hero. He’s a thief … I’m hoping we can change it a little bit, and then ultimately feather into the other ones.”

According to Yahoo! News, Tatum also revealed that he has been in discussion with X-Men producer Lauren Shuler Donner about the upcoming spin-off project. He explained that he and Donner bounced ideas and concepts back and forth for the new film. However, everything is just conceptual right now.

“Creatively, we’re starting to chug forward. Obviously there’s nothing [official]. There are only conversations and dreams right now, really. I’ve been pretty vocal about wanting to be the part of Gambit for a very long time,” Tatum explained.

“It’s a weird, pinching-myself moment that we’re even having the conversation. The machine of the Marvel world is so ginormous that it’s literally like climbing a mountain, getting one of these movies made, and all of the pieces that go along with it.”

The next installment of the X-Men movie series is tentatively scheduled to be released some time in 2016.

  • “Chelsea Lately” To End After Seven Years

“Chelsea Lately” To End After Seven Years

Chelsea Lately has been a long-running frontrunner in the late-night talk show game, thanks in part to host Chelsea Handler’s ability to rip a guest to shreds and make it sound like she’s just roasting them rather than being malicious. But now, the funnylady is ready to move on, and will air the final episode in August.

“I myself am more surprised than anyone that I was able to hold down a job for seven years, and it was a fantastic seven years. I will always look back at my time on E! as most people look back at their time in college. I’m glad I went,” she said.

Handler has interviewed a slew of celebrities, including Jennifer Lawrence, Cameron Diaz, Adam Levine, and Evan Peters, who sat down with her last week to talk about X-Men: Days Of Future Past.

The successful talk show has seen its share of controversy over the years, but Handler’s acerbic wit has kept audiences tuning in year after year. As of now Handler hasn’t said what she’ll be moving on to.

“We are very proud of Chelsea Lately’s long-running success and the unique space that the series carved out in late night television. Chelsea brought a distinct voice to late night with her acerbic wit and fearless commentary and we look forward to providing fans with a memorable send-off that lives up to that tradition. Most of all, we are grateful to the Chelsea Lately team for making this show so special for seven years,” President of E! Suzanne Kolb said.

The final episode will air on August 26th at 11 pm.
