  • Charlie Sheen Rant: Staples Center Gives Him the Boot

Charlie Sheen rant: Is anyone really surprised at this point when the former “Two and a Half Men” star completely blows his cool? Despite the fact that Sheen claims he regrets his actions following his infamous, widely-publicized meltdown, the actor is apparently at it again, directing his misplaced rage at a Staples Center employee who barred him from re-entering the venue on Thursday. The kicker: TMZ got the whole thing on video. Obviously.

Sheen, who had stepped outside to smoke a a quick cigarette, attempted to return to his seat once the deed was done. Unfortunately, he didn’t notice the posted signage about leaving the venue, and the female security guard on-duty refused to let him back in. At first, Sheen attempts to reason with the guard, that is, until he realized that she wasn’t going to budge. In true Sheen fashion, he unleashed an epic stream of expletives.

“You know what? F**king blow my balls, alright, you f**king asshole,” he shouted before heading back to the parking lot. Once there, he used a nearby paparazzo to express his displeasure with the whole scenario. “Have common sense and common courtesy gone in society? That was what I was trying to impress upon her.”

According to the Los Angeles Times, the Staples Center defends their employee’s decision to bar Sheen from re-entering the venue, claiming the system is in place for the “safety of fans”.

Michael Roth of AEG, the company that owns the Staples Center, says there are signs posted inside and outside that warn patrons that they cannot re-enter the building once they’ve stepped outside. He added that there are areas inside the venue for smokers.

“We regret that any patron would direct such abusive language at one of our employees,” Roth explained.

  • Charlie Sheen: I Wasn’t Winning, I was In Denial

Interviewing in the Rolling Stone (also featured on the cover), Charlie Sheen says that his “winning” period following his boot off of Two and a Half Men was more like “total denial”.

“Clearly, a guy gets fired, his relationships are in the toilet, he’s off on some fucking tour, there’s nothing ‘winning’ about any of that. I mean, how does a guy who’s obviously quicksanded, how does he consider any of it a victory? I was in total denial.”

Although he admits that “winning” and claiming to be filled with “Tiger Blood” were probably not his best moments, he is still not giving up on his old habits, and still not apologizing for it.

“I mean, the shit works. Sorry, but it works. Anyway, I don’t see what’s wrong with a few drinks. What’s your drink? Tequila? Mine’s vodka. Straight, because I’ve always said that ice is for injuries, ha ha.”

Ex-wife Denise Richards also speaks in the interview, saying the two of them have made amends: “He and I are like best friends now — confidants. He tells me everything.” Sheen adds, “And we sleep in separate rooms. Everybody’s going to want to know that, too.”

Sheen will star in “Anger Management”, coming to FX this summer.

  • Charlie Sheen Roast Gets A Preview, Twitter Chatter

The first couple of clips from the upcoming Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen have hit the internet, and it looks like they are batting .500.

The show actually filmed last weekend, but won’t hit the air until next Monday, September 19th, at 10 pm EST. With this roast, Charlie Sheen becomes one in a long line of people given the “honor” by Comedy Central, including William Shatner, Bob Saget, Joan Rivers and Pamela Anderson.

In the first clip from the upcoming show, roastmaster Seth MacFarlane (of Family Guy fame) reads Charlie Sheen’s obituary. Yes, Sheen is still alive, but MacFarlane says that he has a copy ready, since his death is imminent. This clip is the “hit” of the two – check it out below:

The next preview clip to be released shows roaster Jeffeyy Ross discussing Sheen’s penchant for (paid) company. Usually, Ross is one of the funniest people at these roasts, but his jokes about “whoreclosing” fall flat. I’m sure it’s just a weak part in his routine – it’ll get better. And I think he’s dressed as Gaddafi, so that’s a plus:

It looks like Comedy Central and Sheen himself are going to be riding the social media promotion pretty hard in the week leading up to the premiere. Both have already started tweeting with the hashtag #SheenRoast –

Another odd item from the Sheen Roast: Apparently Steve-O of Jackass fame was in attendance and decided that it would be a good idea to run his face into Mike Tyson’s fist. He tweeted about it later –

Tonight I asked Mike Tyson for a black eye and I wound up with two black eyes and a broken nose. Thanks so much, Brother! @MikeTyson 2 days ago via WhoSay · powered by @socialditto

He provided this explanation is a blog post

I should explain how this happened. I told Charlie Sheen that I was so grateful to be a part of his roast that I was going to attempt to get a black I from Mike Tyson. I dove face-first into Mike Tyson’s fist, although it was my forehead that landed on it that first time. It wasn’t until the end of the show that I was allowed to give it another proper try. It took two more tries at the end of the show, but I ended up getting it done. As a matter of fact, I broke my nose badly in the process…

And this picture says it all –

If these clips and Jackass activity say anything about the roast, it’s bound to be an interesting show to say the least.
