  • Vicki Gunvalson’s Ex Wins Lawsuit Filed Over Alleged Hitman Hire

Vicki Gunvalson’s ex, Brooks Ayers, has reportedly won a lawsuit filed against him by former business partner Robert Williamson III, after a judge found Ayers innocent of Williamson’s claims of hiring a hitman to off him.

Williamson and Ayers were in business together with Gunvalson to create a line of vodka, but the project quickly fell apart after the two men began to bicker over one another’s involvement. Williamson soon filed a suit against Ayers for breach of contract, fraud, and for allegedly hiring a hitman, but a judge found that there was no basis for the claims and threw out the lawsuit, ordering Williamson to pay for Ayers’ attorney fees.

“Brooks prevailed in every way in his case. It’s interesting that people question his integrity and sincerity, when the courts of law have consistently ruled in his favor and proven that what he says is true,” said Ayers’ attorney Sean Reis.

There is currently another lawsuit in progress against Vicki Gunvalson, the Real Housewives of Orange County star who dated Ayers throughout his claims that he had cancer, for abandoning the vodka brand. Gunvalson has maintained that she didn’t know Ayers wasn’t being truthful about his illness until he admitted that he forged documents from a hospital, but her co-stars haven’t been sure what to make of the ordeal.

Gunvalson has seen several of her relationships sour in the wake of her time with Ayers, including the one she shares with daughter Briana, who claimed early on that Brooks hit on her and was faking an illness despite what her mother wanted to believe. However, Briana is reportedly going to move back to Orange County soon, where she’ll be close to Vicki, and the reality star shared a photo recently of a gift she received in the mail from Briana: a Christmas ornament representing her two grandsons.

  • Brooks Ayers May Have Made Himself Sick To Back Up Cancer Claims, Vicki Gunvalson Says

Brooks Ayers has been in the headlines for months now due to his claims that he has been battling cancer–and undergoing chemotherapy–despite a lack of evidence for any of it. Now, his ex, Real Housewife Vicki Gunvalson, says she thinks it’s possible that he made himself ill in order to keep up the ruse that he was very sick.

Ayers was allegedly caught in a lie about having cancer by Gunvalson’s daughter, who says he also hit on her at a party with her mother in the next room. Ayers has denied every accusation leveled against him, but Vicki says there are ways he could have faked it.

“I actually contacted a couple of people and they said you can actually take eye drops and they can make you violently ill. I don’t know if he did that, that’s pretty sick, but I witnessed him with fevers and night sweats and chills. He lost 42 pounds in three months,” Vicki said.

Brooks Ayers’ claims were partially responsible for driving a wedge between Vicki and her daughter, Briana, who said earlier this year that when she first met Ayers he told her he had pancreatic cancer, then quickly changed his tune when he realized she had nursing experience and said it was pancreatitis. Ayers, meanwhile, says that Briana and the other Real Housewives–some of whom haven’t trusted him since the beginning–are just stirring up drama.

“I think they do it to create drama. It’s useless drama that brings on stress that quite frankly no one needs and in particular my situation. I’m not running from anything,” Ayers said.

As for Vicki, she says she doesn’t believe anything he says and just wants him to stay away.

“I never want to see him or speak of his name again. I want him out of my life. My family is finally coming full circle,” Vicki said of Brooks.

  • Heather Dubrow Demands Answers from Vicki Gunvalson About Brooks Ayers

Heather Dubrow of the Real Housewives of Orange County is demanding answers from cast mate Vicki Gunvalson about former boyfriend Brooks Ayers. She wants to know exactly when Gunvalson learned that Brooks Ayers was lying about having cancer.

On Wednesday, Brooks Ayers issued an apology–but not for lying about having cancer. He claims he falsified documents “proving” he had cancer so those on RHOC would stop doubting him.

Heather Dubrow discussed the situation with E! News in an interview that aired Thursday night.

“The root of it is, Brooks is proven to be a con man. Tamra [Judge] has said this for years. I didn’t believe it until this year; now I see it. But the question for Tamra and Shannon [Beador] and Meghan [King Edmonds] and myself is now Vicki’s involvement in it, and when did she know? Because that’s…You know, he doesn’t affect us. He is who he is. He’s gone from all of our lives, I’m happy to say,” Heather Dubrow says in the interview. “But Vicki is in our lives. And when did she know? I think I said in the reunion, ‘We all agree he doesn’t have cancer but when did you find out?’ I said to her. So, I mean, those are the questions.”

These are very valid questions indeed–the kind that friends deserve to have answered. Did Vicki Gunvalson ruin many friendships by going along with some of Brooks Ayers lives?

Will Heather Dubrow get the answers she needs from Vicki Gunvalson?

If not, it will be abundantly clear that these friendships didn’t mean to her what they meant to her costars.

  • Vicki Gunvalson Gets Proof Brooks Ayers Lied About Cancer Treatments

Vicki Gunvalson has finally gotten proof that ex-boyfriend Brooks Ayers lied to her about receiving cancer treatments at the City of Hope National Medical Center in Los Angeles. The Real Housewives of Orange County star didn’t want to believe he had lied to her and others about having cancer, but more and more discrepancies in his story kept cropping up.

Tami Dennis is the Executive Director of Communications at City of Hope. She confirmed to Entertainment Tonight on Tuesday that Brooks Ayers hasn’t been getting cancer treatments there.

“City of Hope has not provided any cancer treatment to anyone by the name of David Brooks Ayers,” Dennis confirmed.

Soon after word about this proof hit the media, Twitter lit up with questions and comments. Vicki Gunvalson responded to one Twitter user.

Another user accused Vicki Gunvalson of lying, and said Bravo would be “crazy to keep her.”

Vicki Gunvalson and Brooks Ayers broke up in August, yet she has still come under fire for sticking up for him and his claims that he has cancer. Gunvalson’s daughter always had doubts. Now she, too, has proof she wasn’t crazy for doubting his claims.

“To this day, I definitely had red flags,” Vicki Gunvalson admitted on a recent show. “I do not have evidence that he does not have cancer. I don’t have any evidence that he does.”

Will this proof finally end the question of whether or not Brooks Ayers lied? How long will it take for people to forgive Vicki Gunvalson for having lied for him?

  • Vicki Gunvalson Calls Brooks Ayers “Sick” After Hospital Reportedly Exposes Him As A Liar

Vicki Gunvalson took to Twitter this week to respond to some fans who were wondering if she’s had any contact with ex Brooks Ayers following the revelation that he never sought treatment for cancer at City Of Hope National Medical Center as he claims he did.

The Real Housewives star says she believed him because she loved him and never would have dreamed he would lie to her, but now she realizes he has issues.

I don’t talk to him nor will I ever speak to him again. This man is sick…I am not the one who was untruthful. I loved a man and believed him just the way they believe their spouses,” Gunvalson said.

Vicki also took to the social media site to thank her fans for supporting her earlier this month.

Ayers reportedly claimed in 2013 that he was diagnosed with Stage 3 non-Hodgkins lymphoma, and after showing signs of a miraculous recovery, he said it was due to alternative medicine. But right away, Gunvalson’s daughter Briana smelled something suspicious. She said during a Real Housewives reunion earlier this year that Brooks hit on her at a party and was essentially busted in a lie about having cancer–he later changed his tune to her, saying it was pancreatitis–but when she tried to warn her mom, Vicki wasn’t hearing it. The incident caused a rift between the two of them and led to Ayers saying in an interview that the women on the show were causing problems where there weren’t any because they craved the drama.

“I think they do it to create drama. It’s useless drama that brings on stress that quite frankly no one needs and in particular my situation. I’m not running from anything,” Ayers said.

However, the hospital where he claimed to have received treatment has now issued a statement, saying they never saw Ayers.

“City of Hope has not provided any cancer treatment to anyone by the name of David Brooks Ayers,” said Tami Dennis, Executive Director of Communications.

  • Vicki Gunvalson Admits She Lied About Brooks Ayers’ Cancer

Vicki Gunvalson admitted she lied about Brooks Ayers’ cancer on Sunday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County reunion. The admission may not be what you think, however.

It wasn’t over whether or not Ayers has cancer that Vicki Gunvalson came clean, but rather that she lied about his purported illness in order to get some attention for herself.

The scenario in question involved a fabricated story about calling Ayers’ doctor, telling him to treat Brooks with an IV during a sick spell.

“I fabricated it because I really was looking for compassion,” she said.

Ayers’ supposed illness and his treatment of Vicki Gunvalson has been a huge point of contention among her friends and family members. Daughter Briana Culberson did nothing to hide her disdain for the man throughout his entire relationship with her mother.

Sadly, after making this one admission, Vicki Gunvalson fast learned it opened the door for even more questions.

    “Why?” Tamra Judge asked.

Despite this one admission, Vicki Gunvalson admits she still thinks Brooks is sick.

“I still believe he has cancer,” she says.

Can this woman not see the writing on that proverbial wall? She’s been played–and hard, too. Brooks Ayers has mistreated Vicki Gunvalson and taken advantage of her ability to look the other way. Then when she needed him most, he dumped her.

What’s your take on Sunday night’s RHOC episode? Do you think Vicki Gunvalson is any closer to admitting she thinks Brooks Ayers is lying about his cancer?

  • Vicki Gunvalson: Daughter Reveals Brooks Ayers’ Nickname For His Privates

Vicki Gunvalson has been battling her daughter, Briana, for quite a while now over the man who was, until recently, her beau. Now, Gunvalson has broken things off with Brooks Ayers, and she and Briana sat down with Andy Cohen for an interview about why things went south and what Ayers did behind Vicki’s back.

Briana told her mother long ago that Brooks was a dirty dog, saying he pulled her aside at Vicki’s birthday party and hit on her (while she was pregnant, no less). He also reportedly told Briana he wanted to show her what he’s packing and told her his nickname is “Girth Brooks”.

“And I told her that he did (make a move) and she called me a liar and said that he would never want me,” Briana said. “This guy’s a piece of sh*t,” Briana said during the sit-down.

She and Vicki have had a rough time lately over Brooks, who Briana says has been lying about having cancer amongst other things. However, Vicki didn’t want to believe the nasty stories about her man and refused to break things off with him for a long time.

“I didn’t want to believe it was even truth,” Vicki Gunvalson said.

Briana has maintained for years now that she believes Ayers is lying about having stage 3 non-Hodgkins lymphoma, but Vicki brushed her worries aside, which caused a rift between the two of them. Ayers said earlier this year that he thinks Briana and the other women of The Real Housewives of Orange County are just seeking attention.

“I think they do it to create drama. It’s useless drama that brings on stress that quite frankly no one needs and in particular my situation. I’m not running from anything,” Ayers said.

The second half of the reunion special will air on Bravo on Sunday at 8 p.m.

  • Vicki Gunvalson And Brooks Ayers Both Speak About The Real Reason Behind Their Split

The highlight of this season’s Real Housewives of Orange County is arguably the sudden breakup of reality star Vicki Gunvalson and businessman Brooks Ayers. So much controversy hounded their relationship that one would think that this could be the best decision for both of them.

Ayers sat down with Melanie Bromley of E! News and answered questions about the downfall of his romance with Gunvalson. The biggest issue of their relationship was his alleged battle with cancer, a storyline that many of Gunvalson’s friends on the show refuse to believe.

Ayers was adamant about his medical condition and insisted that he never faked it. He also shared that he and Gunvalson attended couple’s therapy in the hopes of saving their relationship.

When asked to set the record straight about these lying allegations, Ayers answered, “Absolutely I’m sticking by that.”

“Unfortunately, I wish it wasn’t true. It would be a lot easier if I didn’t have cancer just to be honest with you. The daily grind, the routines of reminding yourself that I’m sick and I need to do certain things and not do certain things,” he added.

Meanwhile, Gunvalson chatted with Andy Cohen on his show, Watch What Happens Live, where she was also grilled about the real reason behind her breakup with Ayers.

“There were a lot of things. I just think that the conflict with Briana, and him and I and him being from the South, he really wanted to go back to the South, and I just think the stress of the show, and he’s sick, and at the end of the day it just didn’t work anymore,” she answered.

She added that while a long-term relationship with Ayers did not seem likely, their short-term romance was “amazing.”

Vicki Gunvalson also commented about her friendships with her RHOC cast mates. She said that she felt like they were “not there for me” and that she didn’t feel the support she needed from them while she was going through her tumultuous relationship with Ayers.

  • Vicki Gunvalson Shares Scoop on Brooks Ayers, Shannon Beador in New Blog Post

Vicki Gunvalson spilled her guts in a recent blog post. The former Real Housewives of Orange County star defended herself in the post, too.

“As I write this blog, I have so many mixed emotions, but mostly it’s sadness and betrayal,” Vicki Gunvalson shared on Friday. “The constant subject line of Brooks’ cancer, his choice of treatment, and if he was ‘faking’ it or not has gotten out of control. My stance is I do not believe he faked cancer, as there are way too many people involved, way too many doctor visits and way too many doctor reports which would be very difficult to falsify. As I said at the reunion, I didn’t have enough information that he does have cancer, and I didn’t have enough information that he doesn’t.”

Brooks Ayers and Vicki Gunvalson broke up for the second time in August.

While she still remains she’s responsible for nothing that happened during the recent filming of the reunion show–as well as for the way people left the filming feeling–Vicki Gunvalson admits she might have handled things better.

“Hindsight,” she wrote. “I didn’t handle things always in the calmest manner which I am sorry for that, but I was extremely frustrated having to always be questioned about him.”

Vicki Gunvalson is as frustrated with the way things wound up with Shannon Beador as she is about the situation with Brooks Ayers.

“I never betrayed her, she was just embarrassed that it was exposed again when it was supposed to be about badgering me,” she wrote. “I knew what David and Shannon shared this season, and it was Shannon’s decision to reveal the affair so I didn’t think it was a secret to tell my brother. All the ladies already knew, so for me to tell my brother privately was NOT betraying her.”

Vicki Gunvalson says it was Tamra Judge who shared word of the very uncomfortable situation involving Shannon and David Beador.

“What you don’t know is that last year Tamra actually told the group about David’s affair at a dinner we were all at, and even disclosed the woman’s name and information about her. Bottom line here is Shannon knew that Heather, Tamra, and Lizzie all knew and by me telling my brother privately in my home was not any secret,” she wrote.

Has Vicki Gunvalson cleared up anything in Friday’s blog post–or has she perhaps made things even worse than they were before?

What’s with these RHOC people? Do any of them know when to keep their mouths–or their keyboards–shut?

  • Vicki Gunvalson Dumps Boyfriend Brooks Ayers, He May Have Lied About Having Cancer

Viewers can still expect to see Vicki Gunvalson and Brooks Ayers as a couple in season 10 of The Real Housewives of Orange County although their on-and-off relationship has finally ended.

Vicki and Brooks had been together for four years but the relationship had always been tumultuous. Vicki’s daughter, Briana, and co-star Tamra Judge questioned Brooks even when he and Vicki had just started dating.

Reportedly, Vicki finally broke up with Brooks because of his false medical records indicating he has cancer. He was accused of falsifying documents of his diagnosis and treatment.

An oncologist who reviewed Brooks’ medical records added that the papers were not an authentic proof of cancer.

But despite their recent break up, Vicki is still defending Brooks and is claiming he does have cancer and their breakup was due to their differences.

“We were unequally yoked on many levels,” Vicki said recently. “We looked at our futures and realized we were good for right now, but not for a lifetime. We haven’t talked for a long time.”

In fact, Vicki even supported Brooks when he was dealing with his cancer after they broke up for the first time in 2013.

“[Cancer] either will tear you apart as a couple or bring you together. And with us, without a doubt, it’s brought us together,” Brooks told Us Weekly.

Vicki and Brooks’ lie about his alleged cancer infuriated Meghan Edmonds, which she shared in her blog post. People also started to question if Vicki knew what Brooks had done.

“It blows my mind that Vicki continues to relentlessly defend herself and Brooks,” Meghan said. “All of the evidence is there yet she’s completely throwing religion in our faces as if we are bad people. How can she possibly keep portraying herself as a victim when all of this evidence is adding up against them?”

Vicki’s replied to her statement by saying, “I have never lied about cancer or one’s diagnosis nor would I ever. I fear God and the truth will always set one free.”

  • Vicki Gunvalson: Daughter Recalls Weird Past Cancer Claims From Brooks Ayers

Vicki Gunvalson is having trouble convincing her friends and family members that her beau, Brooks Ayers, has cancer, and her daughter revealed on a recent episode of the Real Housewives of Orange County that Ayers told her a while back that he was ill and then changed his story.

Ayers told Entertainment Tonight earlier this year that he had been diagnosed with Stage 3 non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 2013, but right away their co-stars smelled something fishy. When Ayers announced he had gone the route of alternative medicine–and that they had caused his lesions to go away–questions about his authenticity were brought up.

“I think they do it to create drama. It’s useless drama that brings on stress that quite frankly no one needs and in particular my situation. I’m not running from anything,” Ayers said.

Vicki Gunvalson’s daughter, Briana, went to lunch with Tamra Judge in the recent episode, where they discussed their concerns about whether or not Ayers is being truthful. Briana says that when she first met him, he spoke about having pancreatic cancer but quickly changed his tune–saying it was pancreatitis–when she began to question him. Briana, who is a nurse, says she thinks her mother is siding with Ayers and won’t listen to her family because she doesn’t want to be alone.

“I think she fights to make something work that shouldn’t work, because she doesn’t want to be alone,” Briana said.

When Shannon Beador confronted Vicki Gunvalson recently about Ayers claims–saying she thinks they should provide medical documents proving that he is indeed sick–Vicki refused, and since then their friendship has been altered.

“During that lunch, Shannon should have just been a listening ear and a friend. That is all that Vicki wanted her to be at that moment. Instead, she pushed and pushed when Vicki was really just wanting to have someone to talk to. The only thing that Vicki is really guilty of in all of this is loving Brooks,” a source told Radar Online.

  • Vicki Gunvalson’s Daughter Briana Culberson Threatens Brooks Ayers’ Life If He’s Lying About Cancer Diagnosis

Vicki Gunvalson seems to think Satan is behind Brooks Ayers cancer diagnosis controversy and her daughter Briana Culberson says she is ready to kill Ayers if it comes to light that he is indeed lying about his illness.

As People magazine pointed out, things turned even more dramatic for The Real Housewives of Orange County on Monday’s episode.

Gunvalson, who decided to go on a detox retreat to clear her head over the scandal, maintains that she believes that Brooks has cancer and says the ladies’ speculation about the diagnosis comes from the devil.

“When is enough enough?” she asked the camera. “He’s got cancer.”

Daughter Brianna Culberson does not buy into Ayers claim that he has the deadly disease.

In fact, Culberson and her family think there is something weird going on and only decided to stay at the family home during their Orange County vacation because Ayers was away on business. They noted the bad vibes that seem to linger in the house despite his absence.

“It feels heavy and uncomfortable and there’s just kind of a nasty feeling when you walk in the door,” Culberson told her husband, Ryan – who made a comment himself about the “weird musk” left by Ayers’ presence.

Briana later clarified her feelings for the camera: “There is absolutely nothing Brooks can do for me to accept him.”

After several more discussions about the “illness,” Briana made her feelings very clear about what will happen if it turns out he is lying.

“I’ll kill him. I’ll kill him myself,” Briana said. “Well she’s gonna find out … or he’s just going to be ‘cured’ one day.”

As a nurse, Briana told Tamra that some of what Ayers has said about his treatment sounds strange.

On the way to Tamra Judge’s baptism, Gunvalson agains brought up religion, saying the doubt over Ayers claims is demonic.

“The truth is always the truth,” she said during the ride over to the baptism, adding, “Satan loves confusion. This is Satan’s work.”

Despite her certainty that Ayers is telling the truth, the women seemed dumbfounded over Gunvalson’s passionate defense of Ayers.

Shannon Beador, who seems to be the most worried, said, “The possibility that I’m being duped by Vicki is crushing to me.”

She then added, “Vicki Gunvalson might not be as good of a friend as I thought.”

The Real Housewives of Orange County airs Mondays (9 p.m. ET) on Bravo.

  • Vicki Gunvalson Goes to Detox Retreat As Brooks Ayers’ Cancer Drama Heats Up

Vicki Gunvalson and some of her pals enjoyed a spa getaway that included a detox retreat this weekend. It was the perfect kind of rest and relaxation for the Real Housewives of Orange County star as the drama over ex-boyfriend Brooks Ayers’ cancer scandal heats up. Detox treatments are known to be good for the body, mind, and the soul, and Vicki Gunvalson likely needs some help in all three areas.

“The start of our detox retreat at @bacararesortsb with @skyranchfitness and @clubdetox_oc. Yoga, meditation, hiking, massage and healthy eating is what’s in store for me this weekend,” she captioned the photo that showed her looking happy in a black evening dress.

Vicki Gunvalson also shared a shot of some of the healthy food she ate at her detox retreat.

“Great way to start the morning before my hike @bacararesortsb, @clubdetox_oc, @marisakenson, #healthyeating, #freshberries, #detox, #juicing,” she captioned it.

Just prior to attended her detox retreat, Vicki Gunvalson taped the season nine reunion of The Real Housewives of Orange County. Some sources report she won’t be returning for the show’s tenth season.

Meanwhile Vicki Gunvalson’s ex, Brooks Ayers, is cashing in on her name. He has traveled to New York to do an interview with Andy Cohen, but won’t share with Vicki what is was about. She is beginning to believe–as some of her costars have long believed–that Ayers might be faking his cancer.

Kudos to Vicki for treating herself to this weekend away. Stress can cause all sorts of toxins to invade the body, and she’s been under more than her fair share of late.

  • Vicki Gunvalson: Has Her Time on “Real Housewives of Orange County” Come to an End?

Vicki Gunvalson has reportedly quit The Real Housewives of Orange County, purportedly bringing to an end 10 seasons of drama.

It was only a couple of weeks ago that Gunvalson threatened to quit the show. Now some believe she actually made good on that threat.

Turning to Instagram to share her news, Vicki Gunvalson captioned a photo of herself with her cast mates, writing, “Thanks ladies for taking me to dinner tonight. What a shocking season finale. Glad it’s over. Time to move on to a bigger and brighter future. Love you girls.”

Prior to this announcement, Gunvalson filmed the season 10 reunion of RHOC.

It hasn’t been an easy few months for Vicki Gunvalson. Her mom died, then just months later she was dumped by Brooks Ayers. Brooks is doing everything he can to cash in on his time with Vicki, too. He has taped secret interviews, sharing his side of what most believe to be a scheme he has in place to fake having cancer.

Bravo flew Ayers to New York City to film an interview with Andy Cohen.

“Not only did they fly him first class to New York and put him up in a very nice hotel, but they also paid him $10,000!” a source told the Radar. “The whole thing lasted about four hours.”

“Bravo had wanted Brooks to come to the reunion taping, but he refused. There was no way he was going to go into that hornets’ nest,” the source adds.

Just prior to Vicki Gunvalson appearing for the taping of the RHOC reunion, a source told the publication that she is devastated by what went on at the interview in New York.

“Vicki just feels so betrayed that Brooks chose a payday over her, and is refusing to tell her anything about the interview. She stood up for him, and doesn’t want to look like a fool to her fans.”

Do you think Vicki Gunvalson really quit The Real Housewives of Orange County? Can the show survive if that’s the case?

  • Vicki Gunvalson Reportedly Quits ‘Real Housewives of Orange County’

Vicki Gunvalson has had a rough couple of weeks.

The Real Housewives of Orange County reality star recently broke up with Brooks Ayers just months after the death of her mother and now it seems he is secretly cashing in on his connection with Gunvalson.

According to RadarOnline, Gunvalson’s ex has making bank by telling his side of his cancer lies in secret interviews.

And now, it appears that Gunvalson has quit the show.

According to the Inqusitr, following filming of the Season 10 finale, Gunvalson, who is the longest-running star of The Real Housewives of Orange County, took to her Instagram account, where she wrote, “What a shocking season finale. Glad it’s over. Time to move on to a bigger and brighter future.”

The Real Housewives of Orange County has yet to be renewed for an 11th season, and if Vicki Gunvalson did indeed quit, it would be highly unlikely the show would go on.

LALATE.com reports that two seasons ago, Vicki Gunvalson, who reportedly makes $850,000 per season, told them that RHOC producers told her that she would lose her housewife status if she refused to film without Brooks.

This comes closely on the heels of news that Brooks Ayers traveled to New York to film a secret interview with Andy Cohen about his cancer scandal.

Bravo apparently paid for the trip although Brooks was never an official cast member.

“Not only did they fly him first class to New York and put him up in a very nice hotel, but they also paid him $10,000!” a source told the publication. “The whole thing lasted about four hours.”

“Bravo had wanted Brooks to come to the reunion taping, but he refused. There was no way he was going to go into that hornets’ nest,” the source adds.

Before Vicki Gunvalson appeared at Friday’s taping of the Real Housewives of Orange County reunion show, a source told RadarOnline that the reality star is hurt by what transpired in New York.

“Vicki just feels so betrayed that Brooks chose a payday over her, and is refusing to tell her anything about the interview. She stood up for him, and doesn’t want to look like a fool to her fans.”

Only time will tell if Vicki Gunvalson really did quit RHOC on Friday. What do you think? Is it time for her to move on?

  • Vicki Gunvalson: Is Ex Brooks Ayers Making Money from Their Former Connection?

Vicki Gunvalson might be getting doubly shafted by ex Brooks Ayers. In addition to breaking up with her just months after her mom died, he is reportedly making money from her status as part of the Real Housewives of Orange County cast.

RadarOnline says that since Ayers broke things off with Vicki Gunvalson, he’s been cashing in on secret interviews.

It was just last month–about a month after he and Vicki Gunvalson broke up–that Brooks Ayers traveled to New York to film a secret interview with Andy Cohen about his cancer scandal. Bravo foot the bill–even though Brooks was never an official cast member. He was only on the show because of his connection with Vicki Gunvalson.

“Not only did they fly him first class to New York and put him up in a very nice hotel, but they also paid him $10,000!” an source tells the publication. “The whole thing lasted about four hours.”

“Bravo had wanted Brooks to come to the reunion taping, but he refused. There was no way he was going to go into that hornets’ nest,” the source adds.

Vicki Gunvalson was set to appear at a taping on Friday for a Real Housewives of Orange County reunion show.

She “has no idea what she is walking into because Andy and Brooks have refused to tell her what was discussed,” the source says.

“Vicki just feels so betrayed that Brooks chose a payday over her, and is refusing to tell her anything about the interview. She stood up for him, and doesn’t want to look like a fool to her fans.”

Is this the ultimate betrayal of Vicki Gunvalson at the hands of Brooks Ayers?

Will she have the last laugh? Tamra Judge is, after all, still trying to prove that he doesn’t really have cancer.

Might Vicki Gunvalson eventually see Brooks take a mighty fall?

  • Vicki Gunvalson Deals With Breakup Just Months After Mom’s Death

Vicki Gunvalson of The Real Housewives of Orange County announced this week that she and on-again-off-again beau Brooks Ayers have split again, just months after she lost her mother suddenly.

Gunvalson released a statement to Us Weekly, saying that she and Ayers have put a lot of work into their relationship but ultimately believe it’s better to go their separate ways. The couple originally broke things off in 2013, but reunited last year after Ayers learned he had cancer.

“After much prayer, thought, counseling, and consideration, we have decided to end our four year relationship. We both wish nothing but a great future for each other. We have come to realize that one can indeed love someone in their heart, but that the time may come for their lives to take separate paths. Though the remaining episodes of Season 10 of The Real Housewives of Orange County will show us as a couple, the filming took place in January 2015 through May 2015. There will be no further statements or interviews regarding our relationship as we choose to move on with our lives. Though we choose to live our lives in the public eye, we thank you for your understanding and ask privacy during this difficult time,” the statement reads.

Vicki Gunvalson made headlines last month when a controversial and heartbreaking episode of the reality series aired which showed her receiving a phone call about the death of her mother, with whom she was very close. Co-star Tamra Barney later said that she thought the cameras should have shut off as soon as producers realized what was going on during the very emotional scene.

“At the moment it happened, I thought the cameras should shut down, because it was too sensitive. Vicki was in a state of mind where she didn’t even acknowledge the cameras. Now she has to relive it. She told me her family could not watch it,” Barney said.

Vicki Gunvalson reassured her, however, that she had lived so much of her life in the public eye that she was alright with the footage being aired.

“Vicki said that her life has been on camera for 10 years, and ‘this is something that happened to me, and I’m okay sharing it.’ If she’s okay with it, I guess I’m okay with it.”

  • Vicki Gunvalson Slams Engagement Rumors, Names Wrong Source

Vicki Gunvalson and Brooks Ayers are not engaged. Vicki Gunvalson wants you to know that, and she seems pretty upset that anyone would suggest such a thing.

Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson took to her Facebook page today, and broadcast that message via Twitter, to let everyone know that those outlets who tell you such “blatant lies” are wrong.

“Contrary to this morning’s media reports I am NOT engaged nor planning to get married at this time. Brooks’ cancer diagnosis has nothing to do with the status of our relationship. It saddens me that media outlets like The Inquistr will publish such blatant lies to attract more visitors to their website. I have always been very honest and forth coming on the show, and with my fans ,and if something this important were true you would be the first to know.”

Gunvalson specifically named The Inquisitr in her post. She also tweeted her ire at the outlet.

But it looks like she is mad at the wrong source. The article she appears to be referring to specifically was titled:

Briana Culberson Is Seeing Red: Could Vicki Gunvalson Get Married To Brooks Ayers?

But within that article, it is made very clear that the source of the rumor is actually Radar Online.

“According to a new Radar Online report, Briana Culberson is not thrilled with the idea of her mother possibly getting married again, especially not to a man who she really doesn’t like.”

The article referenced past Inquisitr reports about Gunvalson’s relationship with Ayers, saying:

“According to the Inquisitr, the relationship is supposedly better than ever, as the cancer has brought them closer. But maybe there is still a long way to the altar. Maybe Briana Culberson can relax a little because he doesn’t seem too eager to marry Vicki.”

It was Radar Online that claimed to have an “insider” feeding them info on Gunvalson and Ayers.

“Vicki has been talking marriage with Brooks, and wants to make it official,” an insider told Radar. “She truly believes that Brooks is meant to be her partner for the rest of their lives. Her kids are grown and have lives of their own, and she is head over heels in love with Brooks.”

“However, Brooks isn’t ready to take the next step because of his cancer diagnosis,” the insider revealed. “He wants to be given the all clear from his doctors before marrying Vicki. He is ready to make his life in Orange County with Vicki permanent, but won’t do so until the cancer is gone or in remission.”

The mix-up is somewhat understandable. Gunvalson may have been told by someone that they had read about the supposed engagement in Inquisitr. But there is a huge industry around reporting “news about rumors.” Some find this distasteful, but there is a very large audience for it. Many of those readers may well be the same people Vicki Gunvalson and the Real Housewives franchise counts on to keep their enterprises afloat.

While many rumors turn out to be nothing, one of the largest news stories so far this year incubated and smoldered in the world of “news about rumor.” There were many reports that Bruce Jenner was planning to announce his life as a transgender woman. There was talk of reality TV shows starring Jenner. These reports were denied, decried, and derided.

But Caitlyn Jenner is now everyday headlines, including her I Am Cait reality show.

Maybe Gunvalson isn’t all that angry at Inquisitr or Radar Online. After all, they keep her in the public eye, and her show in conversations.

Contrary to this morning's media reports I am NOT engaged nor planning to get married at this time. Brooks' cancer…

  • Tamra Barney Judge: Cameras Should Have “Shut Down” When Vicki Gunvalson Found Out Her Mom Died

Tamra Barney Judge has had her moments, good and bad, with Real Housewives of Orange County co-star Vicki Gunvalson.

However, Tamra Barney was quick to try and protect Gunvalson when she received the fateful phone call that her otherwise healthy mother had passed away suddenly.

In the heartbreaking incident, cameras caught every second of Gunvalson’s emotional reaction when she found out from her daughter that her mother was gone.

Tamra Barney Judge didn’t think it was appropriate.

She said, “At the moment it happened, I thought the cameras should shut down, because it was too sensitive. Vicki was in a state of mind where she didn’t even acknowledge the cameras. Now she has to relive it. She told me her family could not watch it.”

Thank you @juliusmichael1 for the fun edgy hair and Priscilla @mspriscillanyc the makeup on @bravowwhl

Now that Tamra Barney Judge and Vicki Gunvalson have had time to recover, they feel better about that moment being shared with the world on RHOC.

Tamra Barney said, “Vicki said that her life has been on camera for 10 years, and ‘this is something that happened to me, and I’m okay sharing it.’ If she’s okay with it, I guess I’m okay with it.”

Vicki Gunvalson took to her blog to add some sage advice that all should take to heart.

She said, “It’s been five months since my mom died and there isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t want to pick up the phone to ask her a question or tell her I love her. I miss her so much, but know one day I will be with her in Heaven and at peace. I want to stress the importance of not putting off talking to or spending time with the ones you love. You never know when they will be taken from you.”

What do you think? Do you agree with Tamra Barney Judge’s initial reaction?

  • Vicki Gunvalson On Shocking Death: “I Don’t Know How I’m Going To Function”

Vicki Gunvalson suffered a devastating loss while filming a scene for The Real Housewives Of Orange County this season, and the moment aired on Monday night as fans watched Gunvalson collapse from the weight of the news.

Vicki was at a party at Shannon Beador’s home when she received a phone call that changed her life: her mother had passed away suddenly in her sleep. Because she hadn’t been ill, the death came as a shock and Gunvalson broke down in the kitchen as the other housewives came running in to find out what was going on.

“I just want my mom back. I want my mom. I have to go see my mom right now. I want to be with my mom. I need her every day. I need her so bad. Who’s going to worry about me? I don’t have parents now. I need my parents. I need my mom,” Vicki said in the heartbreaking clip.

Vicki was very close with her mother and said she had just spoken to her that morning, with no clue that anything was wrong. She later said that she couldn’t imagine how she was going to function with the loss.

“I wasn’t ready to stop learning from my mom. I really don’t know how I’m going to function. I need her in my life. I don’t know why we have to die. I’ll miss my mom’s spunk. She had so much love for life. I don’t want this to be real.”

The episode was filmed in February but just now made it to air, and a devastating clip from the moment Vicki received the phone call began making rounds on the web earlier this year, close to Mother’s Day. Vicki took to Twitter to address the fact that Bravo chose that time to air the clip, saying it was a “terrible thing to relive”. Gunvalson received quite a bit of fan support, however, and took the time to thank everyone for their kind words on Monday night after the show aired.

“I wanted to take a second to thank each and everyone of you for your kind words this evening. They mean the world to me!” she wrote.

Vicki Gunvalson and the other housewives have said that this season is one of the most real in terms of the things they go through, with Tamra Judge saying it’s not all about silly drama.

“I think it’s a really good season this year. We have a birth, my granddaughter, we have a death, we have everything in between. It’s really real life stuff going on. It’s not like, ‘You didn’t invite me to a party! You took my chair!’ It’s not that stuff…” Judge told E! News.

  • Vicki Gunvalson: Her Mother Dies And Bravo Airs Her Breakdown On Mother’s Day In ‘RHOC’ Trailer

Losing a loved one is a pain that never goes away, but imagine if you have to relive that moment with the rest of the world watching?

Vicki Gunvalson of the Real Housewives of Orange County experienced just that when Bravo released the trailer for season 10 of the series.

The trailer started out as with a lot of drama and bitching going on. One scene showed Gunvalson lamenting that she’s “being nailed to the cross like Jesus was” while in another she’s facing off against newest Housewife Meghan King Edmonds.

But the trailer’s final scene shows the usually cool and collected Gunvalson falling to the floor in hysterics after receiving a phone call.

It turned out to be the phone call that each one of us dreads receiving – the call that would inform us a love one has passed away.

The RHOC star was filming when she received the news that her beloved mother died in her sleep, the pain and shock causing her to break down.

The sad event happened earlier in the year, with the 53-year-old herself announcing on Instagram last February 4 that her “amazing, beautiful and strong mother passed on and is now with the love of her life my father in heaven.”

If using footage of someone breaking down because their parent just died wasn’t tasteless enough, Bravo released the trailer on Mother’s Day.

Fans of the show called out the channel for its rude and heartless move, and even Gunvalson weighed in.

“It’s the most terrible thing to have to re-live again… Especially on Mother’s Day,” the heartbroken reality star tweeted.

Aside from that totally insensitive segment, Gunvalson is also up in arms over allegations that her on-again, off-again boyfriend Brook Ayers’ cancer diagnosis is a sham.

“It’s nothing short of disgusting,” she told a fan after the Bravo trailer was aired.

The trailer for RHOC season 10 still continues to be aired on the NBC/ Universal-owned network.
