  • Jodie Sweetin: Recovering Addict Worked at Treatment Center, Looks Forward to ‘Fuller House’

Jodie Sweetin is a recovering addict–something she speaks of openly. When Full House ended, she found acting gigs, but only sporadically. In recent years she worked as director of a drug and alcohol treatment center. This work provided valuable life experiences, as well as an income, but acting was always her first love and first choice of jobs.

These days Jodie Sweetin has left her job at the treatment center and has returned to acting. She is reprising her role as Stephanie Tanner on the upcoming Full House reboot, Fuller House. She was as excited about working with her former cast mates as she was for her return to acting.

“I was completely on board with it,” Sweetin said during a phone interview while taking a break from filming Fuller House. “I stepped away from (acting) for a little while and enjoyed a normal experience, but when this came along, I got to go back and do the thing that I love. I missed it terribly and am beyond thrilled to be back.

“The show is so well loved,” Jodie Sweetin added. “My kids are seven and five and watch the show. They think it’s hilarious to see their mom as a kid doing silly stunts and dance moves on the show. They come to the set now and are so excited to see me doing it again. They’ve known the cast their whole lives from barbecues, birthday parties and swimming.”

In addition to Jodie Sweetin, Fuller House will star Candace Cameron Bure as D.J. Tanner, Andrea Barber as Kimmy Gibbler, John Stamos as Uncle Jesse (Stamos also serves as one of the show’s producers), Bob Saget as Danny Tanner, Lori Loughlin as Aunt Becky, and Dave Coulier as Uncle Joey.

Noticeably absent are the Olsen twins. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen won’t be reprising their role as Michelle Tanner.

Will you be tuning in to Netflix in 2016 to check out Jodie Sweetin and the old Full House gang in Fuller House?

  • Lori Loughlin, John Stamos: Aunt Becky and Uncle Jesse Together Again on ‘Fuller House’

Lori Loughlin and John Stamos are likely reuniting as Aunt Becky and Uncle Jesse on the Netflix reboot of Full HouseFuller House. Stamos teased fans with some photos that hinted at just that on Tuesday.

The on screen couple appeared (sort-of) in one photo that showed each of their hands–one atop the the other–hiding the script for Fuller House.

John Stamos shared that shot on Instagram.

“Becky and Jesse together Forever. #FullerHouse. #Netflix,” he captioned the photo.

If this doesn’t stir excitement in diehard Full House fans, then nothing will.

Even though Lori Loughlin was absent from this shot, John Stamos continues to tease Full House fans with this Uncle Jesse photo.

“And we’re back! Same sideburns- different decade. #FullerHouse #Netflix,” the caption reads.

Maybe Lori Loughlin was the photographer for this one?

Lori Loughlin and John Stamos played a magical couple, whose courtship, wedding, and the subsequent birth of their twins won Full House rave reviews.

It was clearly Lori Loughlin’s birthday when this shot was taken.

“Running from birthday woman!! @loriloughlin,” John Stamos captioned the photo.

Are you among those Full House fans excited to see Lori Loughlin and John Stamos reunite as Aunt Becky and Uncle Jesse? Other Full House actors/characters starring in Fuller House include Bob Saget (Danny Tanner), Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie Tanner), Candace Cameron Bure (D.J. Tanner), Dave Coulier (Joey Gladstone), Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibbler), and Scott Weinger (Steve Hale).

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen won’t appear when Fuller House debuts, but a recent report says not to rule out any appearances by the Olsen twins, who together played the youngest of the Tanner daughters, Michelle Tanner.

Do you expect Lori Loughlin and John Stamos will reprise their romance on Fuller House? Or might they simply portray an older, less romantic version of their Full House selves?

  • ‘Fuller House’ Welcomes Another ‘Full House’ Alum: D.J. Tanner’s Boyfriend Steve–Played by Scott Weinger–Joins Cast

Fuller House is officially in production, and the soon-to-be Netflix series has welcomed yet another Full House alum on board. Fans will surely remember D.J. Tanner’s soulmate, Steve. Scott Weinger has officially signed on to Fuller House to reprise the role.

So what has Scott Weinger done since Full House ended? He became a successful TV writer. Weinger has written for shows including Galavant, Black-ish, The Neighbors, and 90210.

How Scott Weinger will play into Fuller House is unknown as of yet. Candace Cameron Bure is reprising her role as D.J. Tanner as a widowed mom with children. Do you think Steve will be her late husband in flashbacks or a love interest who comes back into her life after many years apart? The second option would certainly be far more romantic–don’t you think?

Other Full House actors who have signed on to Fuller House include Jodie Sweetin as Stephanie Tanner, Andrea Barber as Kimmy Gibbler, John Stamos as Uncle Jesse, Dave Coulier as Uncle Joey, and Bob Saget as Danny Tanner.

Did you love how D.J. Tanner and Steve were so perfect together on Full House? Are you excited to learn they will be back together again–in some capacity, anyway–on Fuller House?

  • Dave Coulier Confirms He’ll Appear on ‘Full House’ Reboot, ‘Fuller House’

Dave Coulier confirmed via Twitter on Thursday that he has signed on to appear on the Full House reboot, Fuller House.

Dave Coulier played surrogate Uncle Joey on Full House to ‘nieces’ D.J., Stephanie, and Michelle Tanner. Candace Cameron Bure and Jodie Sweetin–who played D.J. and Stephanie–are reprising their roles.

Fuller House–set to air via Netflix in 2016–will follow Candace Cameron Bure’s character, a newly widowed mother of three, as she teams up with her fellow single mom, Full House BFF Kimmy Gibbler (played by real life BFF Andrea Barber) and younger sister Stephanie to help raise her family.

Bure, Barber, and Sweetin signed on to star in the series right away. Dave Coulier, Bob Saget, Lori Loughlin, and the Olsen twins–Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen–engaged in talks to reprise their roles. The Olsen twins claimed a couple of weeks back, however, that they were never informed of the reboot. John Stamos said that simply wasn’t true.

Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, Kimmy Gibbler, John Stamos, and now Dave Coulier, too, will begin filming Fuller House this summer. It will be interesting to learn which–if any–of the rest of the Full House gang will sign on to appear in the reboot, too,
